Acts 3
Prayer: Channel
Lord, our God, we gather, seeking to see and know Thy face and asking that Thy love and inspiration pour through us that others might see and know Thy face and find inspiration. We ask to serve and to love as You would have us. We ask this through the name, through the Blueprint, Jesus the Christ.

Let your light so shine before you that all men may see your good works. This is the guiding principle of those that would find the way or see, as asked, the face of God. Rationalization is the downfall of those that seek to find God and if you would find God you will find not fault with your fellow being. Friend or foe must be seen alike, not in condemnation but in praise of the fact that within each lies the heaven on earth or God as given to the individual in the soul and in the Christ force. If ye judge, you condemn. But ye also praise and honor God. Then make the eye single and see only that which is the spiritual – the spiritual being, the spiritual essence, the spiritual word. We have this group and we are ready now for this reading.
S We have this group as given, the inquiring minds of this group. We have the goals and opportunities of this group, and we have the word for this group. The word is love and honor and obey God and God alone. For this world is full of that which leads astray – selfishness, self-indulgence, self-glamourization, goals of mankind rather than that which are the goals of God. Be then still within the mind, within the body, that the soul may be fed by God and seek more time in silence and turn self oft to prayer, not the egotistical prayer, not selfish prayer, but truthful prayer of cleansing and honoring God. We are now ready for questions.
ACTS 3:1:
Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
S You have that which is faith and that which represents love and so much together, repentance, combining at the time appointed to come before the Lord which, in this case, is the hour of prayer (using that time so set upon or by the Israelites or the Hebrews of that time, a man-made time for prayer, rather than that which was given in earlier times of being in prayer as much as possible) following then the rituals of the day, but with faith and love.
ACTS 3:2-5:
And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, “Look on us.” And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
S Beautiful in this case is that which mankind sees as beauty – physical grace, mental grace – but lacking the spiritual grace as represented here in Peter and John. The cripple is yourself, or yourselves. There was a cripple at that time, true, representing you. You come to that which is love and beauty expecting in faith, in love, in the beauty of the spirit, to be rewarded. There is that which is the overcoming of the physical. True, here it is given as a physical principle and at that time was seen as a physical principle but it is a spiritual-mental principle that is being met.
ACTS 3:6-8:
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
S Well, there are many important things here covered. Silver and gold are those things which are rewards of the physical-mental world rather than the spiritual-mental world. It is true, you must find the balance, but look about you. It is the physical that people count on as being rewarded by God or what they would worship or have as importance. You have that which is rewarded, you have really the spiritual man leaping and praising God. And the key, the answer, or the overcoming in this is not just the faith or the love but the thanking of God for that which has happened. Many are given rewards, many have that which is heaped upon them – the treasures of the spirit and of the mind and, yes, of the physical being – that thank not God and therefore fall from that which you would consider grace or that which is love in this world. Never the love of God forsaken, never the grace of God forsaken, but the love and grace found within this plane. Hence, the story of karma.
ACTS 3:9-12:
And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, “Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?”
S Faith speaks truth and it is truth that sets you free. For the understanding here of truth is: by no act of yourself can you overcome. Yes, faith and trying and love are the keys, but even those cannot overcome. Only through the acts of God can one overcome. Does this then refute that which you have given before that in a certain time people may know and bypass that which they may learn? No, it does not. For if you, in faith, accept God, you know you will be presented with those opportunities to come before God to petition God and then lay self down to be cleansed in God’s way, God’s method. Yes, you may bypass but you cannot achieve by doing same. Therefore, take the lesson here to come before God expecting, knowing, but not petitioning for that which is beyond you to understand, only petitioning God for love, for healing, for that which God knows is best for self. Even here faith and love do not take credit but give to the self and selves the truth. It is God that doeth the work.
Q I presume the gate was called Beautiful because it was decorated or ornate. But was there any spiritual significance to that?
S The spiritual significance is that there is no such place set up by human hands that can be an entrance way to a temple of God, to heaven, or what have you. It is found anywhere -the gate of God, the gate of faith and love and mercy is anywhere. And it is nameless for it has but one purpose: to serve.
Q But that wouldn’t be a physical gate anyway, would it?
S There is a physical gate, or was a physical gate, Beautiful, and it was so given and so believed that the entering of same to the temple or into the temple, it was dedicated to those beautiful things that man found as rewards within this life. For this, you see, was the teaching or learning of the time that those who found favor in God’s eyes were rewarded in this life with beauty, with a beautiful life, with treasures on earth rather than treasures of the spiritual nature. Hence, God’s gates, and if they were to be named there would be legions of same. God’s gates are found everywhere the human and the spiritual elements are together and need or have that need to find God and can find God in love, in faith, and in expectancy.
ACTS 3:13-16:
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
S And the faith shall set you free, the faith shall make you whole because it presents you to God and then God will bless thee, will pick you up. For daily when you abuse that which has been given you, the opportunities, the understandings, you condemn the Prince of Love and reward the murderer. For here the murderer is that which would kill or stifle your progress towards that which is your eventual goal, in the full opportunity, to worship God which is then the rising up from this plane to that stature that is of the spiritual world rather than the spiritual-mental world as found within this physical plane.
ACTS 3:17-18:
“And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it as did also your rulers. But those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.’
S And remember, you are on the same blueprint or the same path as Jesus of Nazareth that you might be christed in your way and in your time. Therefore, expect and know that in one way or another there must be sacrifices. There will be those hurtful things that happen to you that you may grow the more and understand, even as He the Prince of Love, that forgiveness is a great and wondrous thing and that none of you can progress beyond this stage, this level, until forgiveness becomes the center of your awareness and conduct towards others that you come in contact with or do not come in contact with directly in this life. That is to say, those that offend your opinions or your understanding are not to be condemned but forgiving, forgiving. For remember, as far advanced as you may think you are or those that you follow are, none is advanced enough that they have the ticket to heaven. Only He, Jesus the Christ, has overcome and found the perfect way and even He was tempted.
ACTS 3:19-23:
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, ‘A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.’ And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.”
S And that prophet is that which you meet in meditation. Therefore, find the extra time, the few minutes here, the few minutes there, to concentrate upon that which is the Christ, Christ within, and free yourself from this mental-material world and turn to that which is the spiritual nature, even a little more each day, here and there. Clear the mind and bring into self the spiritual forces that abound within yourself and without of yourself so that they may come in conjunction and be one and that you may be more the servant of your fellowman and the child of God.
ACTS 3:24-26:
‘Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
S God has given you the opportunity now, now at this time, to overcome your past, to build upon the present that the present and the past may become the future and the future is God. The ending is God. You have been promised and you have been given the opportunity of salvation. For the prophet that lies within is the Christ. The Christ is now that which would become one with you that those things that you do and see may be as through the eyes of God, not forgetting that self has a soul, not forgetting that self has a personality, but that God raised up within you may find your totality and the wonder of your entire being and that you, too, may overcome this world, even as Jesus, and become as the man of Nazareth, a path that others may follow to the joy and light of God and the ever expanding presence of God, that you may be those that are creators of worlds under God, through God, and for God, and know that which is the wonder of creation, the light of creation, the love of creation.
Q What is the relationship between the twelve sons of Jacob and the twelve sons of Ishmael and the twelve tribes of Israel? Please comment.
S You have totality of thirty-six or nine, that which is a finishing number when mankind learns to balance that which is the each individual force. For you have, then, at that time in the Biblical world and in your time now, forces of contention, one being of that of the spirit, one being that of the mental, and the other being that of the physical. Hence, to find the balance is to overcome all things. The twelve tribes of Israel being that of the mental and the brothers, as given before and now, as of the spiritual and of the physical.
