This document is an in-depth analysis of Genesis Chapter 9 from the Bible, focusing on God’s covenant and its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It covers the aftermath of the Great Flood, God’s covenant with Noah, and the significance of the rainbow as a symbol of this covenant. The material explores themes such as divine promise, human responsibility, and the renewal of life on earth, emphasizing the deeper symbolic meanings and spiritual lessons of this chapter.
Genesis 9:1-3
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.”
S The minds, the deeds, the very words of those that people this earth are spoken of there. You as individuals may be a blessing or a curse through that which is the power given to you of free choice and the ability to manipulate that which is around you. In short, all that lives, lives as to the whim of mankind at this time. For at this time you have dominance over this world, this plane, that you may learn to cooperate, learn to build, learn to repair, and learn to love, that this entity, earth, and all that populates it may be at some time benefited by that which is the presence of the soul forces, the minds and the physical presence of that which is humankind.
Genesis 9:4-6
“But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed:” for in the image of God made he man.
S This is multifaceted. Observation: the first observation being that no one will partake of a living organism such as cattle or sheep or goats or fowl, what have you, in their living state; or drink the blood that has not been processed and cleansed by fire. For this is an act of irreverence against the living force or that which is the living force of God. But it is also and more meaningful in saying that to destroy the living animal self or to destroy or live upon that which is the blood of self as an animal force is incorrect. To use the animal body, to use the animal blood as that which nourishes and perpetuates the temple that you live in is another matter. Simply stated it is saying, treat yourself, not as a beast but as something spiritual and the home of a spiritual being.
Q Does this have any bearing on the practice of blood transfusions?
S This has no bearing on that which is blood transfusion for it is just using a reinforcement or a donation or a gift or what have you to re-establish a life force or substance or sustenance within another living temple that is in need of help or repair. It is not the same as ingesting as that which is living blood into that which is the system to be digested by the digestive system.
Q Then raw fish, oysters, et cetera, would not be right either?
S The life force has been taken from them. It is always best to cook animal proteins rather than eat them raw. What is meant, or an example of what is meant would be those who would take live oysters, open them, and eat them as the life form is still intact within the body of the oyster, the animal spirit still present within the protein substance of that body.
Q Is this related in any way to those who live on other people emotionally?
S This in a way is correct, for it is a life force also being taken here or the animal life force which is being absorbed.
Genesis 9:7
“And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.”
S This is merely saying spiritually; rejoice, reassign your self, and multiply that which are the blessings of the Lord through the spiritual substance, not especially through that which is the physical being.
Genesis 9:8-10
And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, “And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.”
S This is the solemn promise of the Lord but it is also a hint of what is to become, that there will be a time of greater glory upon the earth and in each individual. For there is then the coming of the Son or that which is the opening and the glorification of God through that which is grace manifested through Jesus the Christ or the Savior.
Genesis 9:11
“And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”
S And Jesus Christ became that covenant, that the cleansing would come not as a physical thing as much as it would be for the mental cleansing and the spiritual release.
Q The final cleansing would be fire, then?
S Not necessarily. A fire or that which is a spiritual fire is not such as that which is a physical or chemical reaction as fire is alluded to within your plane.
Genesis 9:12-13
And God said, “This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.”
S This is a reminder that God is ever present, that God sets Himself into the skies, into the earth, into all things. It is a reminder that man may rationalize or find superficial meaning in those things as seen as the rainbow, the reminder of the covenant or the promise, the contract of God, and see it as that which is as physical phenomena as to that which is known as the prism effect and those of the spiritual nature will see it as that which it is – a joyous reminder that God is the contractor that does not break His word.
Genesis 9:14-15
“And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.”
S And this again is an announcement of Jesus Christ and the final covenant or that which is culmination or the promise as kept by God.
Q What is the bow seen in the cloud?
S This is that which you would give as the rainbow.
Genesis 9:16
“And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.”
S This is a recognition that all living things are equal in the sense that they bear the spiritual stamp of God, the spiritual life of God and yet mankind is that which lords over this, having more of the abundance of the spirit or more the refined spirit or that which is the higher sense. For they are that which have been given God’s task of being gods in the end.
Genesis 9:17
And God said unto Noah, “This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.”
S Once again the covenant and the establishment is the promise of the Messiah and that which is the final word or the final step or the final passage in the infinite grace of God which is the opening of the door through Jesus the Christ.
Genesis 9:18-19
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
S You’ve had the meanings of these three sons, and it is well that Ham, or the physical, became the father of that which was to come, for the physical nature as seen in Canaan. For this is the body represented through the physical force of Ham.
Genesis 9:20-21
And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
S Noah, or that which sought as Noah, carried away with the accomplishments of self or the physical world and used that which was given to self or the mental and spiritual senses, not used correctly at this time.
Genesis 9:22-23
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.
S When directed by the spiritual and mental, or the intellectual, and that which are the mistakes are seen as that and not published as through that which is the physical or the physical desires, such as Ham, acknowledging then that which was, or is, not of spiritual nature, recognizing then that which is the animal or the nakedness of that which is mankind is that which was to become termed as sin. Whereas that part of self or of mankind which espouses to that which are the mental and the spiritual, see not that which Ham saw, but rather turned away from that in forgiveness and understanding of the position of the soul within this world. Whereas Ham saw not the soul force only that which is the physical. This, then, is the force that drives mankind at this time so much.
Q Does the cover then symbolize forgiveness and understanding?
S This is understanding. This is, in a sense, is the proper use of love, the proper understanding of love towards selves and others in judging motives, forces upon self and others, and always rallying to the spiritual as heightened by the mental rather than seeing the physical dominating that which is the mental and subjecting the spiritual.
Q Is this also an example of how God does not recognize those things that are illusionary or incorrect?
S Absolutely.
Genesis 9:24-25
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, “Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.”
S This is mankind, or an individual, or individuals cursing themselves for being what they are: animal bound, animal centered, realizing and yet not using the example as given of the forgiveness, the turning away, the understanding. For this was the lack of balance and even as often is shown in individuals or groups when they realize they have made a mistake they magnify it by blaming others instead of using that which is loving indifference.
Genesis 9:26-27
And he said, “Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.”
S Here is the great building force of that which you would call the Scriptures. For the spiritual person, God is a spirit – an all-providing, all-merciful, all-loving spirit. This is the God of Shem. And the mind and the intellect in the tent of Shem meaning: used for that which is the expansion and reinforcement of the spiritual force, the spiritual recognition of God and the triumph of same over the physical world, the physical force, the physical being.
Genesis 9:28-29
And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
S This is merely stating that a new era, a new beginning, was now established within the earth, that mankind had the opportunity now to build, as given, through that which is their journey within this earth, justifying their being by becoming that which is a spiritual, mental and then physical being rather than any other being or entity.
Q Would the knowledge of the relationship between years then and years today be of any help to us or is it unimportant?
S It’s really not that important at this time. We will make comments at the appropriate time when there is a need to know such a thing.
Q Chapter 10 deals with the generations of the sons of Noah. Do you wish to go through that or not?
S Not at this time. We are ready (there) for any further questions.
Q Do you wish chapter 11?
S Not at this time.
We give, then, the grace of God, which is the love of Jesus the Christ and the holy angels and all that is the hierarchy. Love. Blessing. Go forth and be fruitful in your dealing with your fellow beings.
