The document is a comprehensive analysis of Genesis Chapter 27 from the Bible, focusing on its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It explores the story of Isaac’s blessing of Jacob, Jacob’s deception, and Esau’s reaction to the loss of his birthright. The material delves into themes like destiny, the complexities of family dynamics, and the profound spiritual implications of blessings and deceptions.
Genesis 27:1-2
And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, “My son:” and he said unto him, “Behold, here am I.” And he said, “Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:”
S This is the mind, self-aware of the frailty, aware of the being, aware of the worldliness, aware of self, turning to that which is the lower nature of the animal self, and in this time controlling the awareness or the mind, declaring that of the life of that which is this plane to be of the greater consequences or of greater consequence than it should be.
Genesis 27:3-4
“Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; and make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.”
S Weapons of mankind, in this case being that which is for the use of the bestial side of self, not going to the domesticated or that which has been given by the hand of God, but going to that which in the nature itself is for the nature of the world, seeking the venison which represents the wildness or that which is the animal, the animal force, and saying, “Bring this to me for it is much more savoury than anything else.” It is the dedication and the regeneration of that which is the animal force.
Genesis 27:5-10
And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it. And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, “Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying, ‘Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the Lord before my death.’ Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee. Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth: And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.”
S Here are the divisions of the mind that are of the spiritual nature or the spiritual bent, giving one to the other that which is the instruction to use those abilities, to overcome the force, as seen by the mind itself (of this plane) as the force that is to be reckoned with. The sending out, you see, of Jacob to bring in that which is the domestic is to use the gifts of God given directly without the force of the hunt, which is the bestial service of mankind coming forth in the nature, rather using the wiles of the mental being to the service of the spiritual nature.
Q Does the hairiness of Esau symbolize the materialism in an individual in this case?
S It does because this is the bestial nature or the beast that recognizes that which comforts the ego, the stomach – the two symbols of selfishness. Q
Genesis 27:11-24
And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man: my father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.” And his mother said unto him, “Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.” And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.
S It has been given in times of old that the sage must make choices that are in odds or against the majority’s beliefs. Here in the overcoming of the very strong, very powerful urges of this world, this plane, the spiritual nature must be found through that which are the wiles and guiles of the mind. The hairiness, the lowness, the animal instinct is of this plane, thus it is the strongest urge, the more powerful being, as a being would be. It is the adversary of the spirit. The mind in its seeking, then, uses all it can – its ability to be wily, to connive, to overcome. You have heard at times that the ends justify the means. In the basic intelligence this is true until the spirit takes over. Once the spirit is in command then there is no need, no use of that which is the lower force of the mind being that which is the overcoming nature.
Q Did you say that the stomach was a symbol of selfishness?
S Correct.
Genesis 27:15-17
And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son: And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck: And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.
S Here, then, the mind presents or takes that which is the force that is understood by the other or bestial nature of the body and of that part of the mind that is controlled to a greater degree (or that which is the thinking part of the mind) by those forces, to then use that which is most familiar with, that which it succumbs the easiest to, to the spiritual nature or side’s advantage.
Genesis 27:18-20
And he came unto his father, and said, “My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?” And Jacob said unto his father, “I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.” And Isaac said unto his son, “How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son?” And he said, “Because the Lord thy God brought it to me.”
S The thinking, reasoning mind has a hard time adjusting to that which is the source of spiritual power, spiritual feeding. Here, the offering by the spiritual nature to that which is the bestial nature comes as a surprise or that which must be doubted and rationalized in that portion of the mind of the lower element.
Genesis 27:21-24
And Isaac said unto Jacob, “Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.” And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.” And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him. And he said, “Art thou my very son Esau?” And he said, “I am.”
S It is true that he was Esau also. For there was not the separation then. There was that which was the connecting link but that which is the meaning of this is all in the nature of the acceptance of the mind. For the mind of the lower element is that which can only judge using the five senses, nothing really beyond. Therefore, things must be touched, tasted, seen, heard, et cetera, to make that a meaningful experience or, in truth, that which can be judged from the level of this plane only, not from the spiritual plane. For even though the mind understands thoughts are things that cannot be tangible (as tangible is on this plane) yet it cannot apply that to the spiritual which to this bestial side is intangible. And, yet for those of the spiritual nature overcoming, it is the tangible side rather than the intangible.
Genesis 27:25-29
And he said, “Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee.” And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine and he drank. And his father Isaac said unto him, “Come near now, and kiss me, my son.” And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, “See the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the Lord hath blessed: Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.”
S Bound to the earth, the mind can only give blessings in the nature that the mind can comprehend, that which feeds the body, that which gives power and authority to the mind, that which graces the individual as one who leads, one who takes, and one who is important in the worldly things. The blessing here then signifies that the mind was yet controlled by the earth plane rather than that which is the awakened force of the spiritual.
Genesis 27:30-33
And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, “Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.” And Isaac his father said unto him, “Who art thou?” And he said, “I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.” And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, “Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.”
S Rebellion of the body alerts the mind. The mind becomes piqued and then becomes more assertive in that which is its selfishness. For here lies, then, the fundamental fighting or the roles taken in the now split individual where the body forces rally to that which are the animal urges and desires. The mind desires, split in itself, must recognize which is the champion or the true champion of right.
And now we give that which is the love, the blessings, the peace of God Almighty and of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that is one. We wish you that which is success, stamina, peace, and to realize that you are indeed one with another and all others are one.

Beloved Lord, through this group, aid Thy children. For we seek to be used as You would use us. We seek to be Thy servants and Thy children that the word and comfort, that knowledge and wisdom may be given to the children, that Thy name may be glorified in this earth and through the works of those that would serve Thee. In Jesus’ name we ask this.

Repent! Repent! You have been given that which is the meaning of repentance. Then think, change thy minds, change thy ways that the ways of self might be the ways of the Lord. Follow that which is the way and the magnificence of Jesus the Christ, lest you be led astray by that which is your own mind and the mind of the world about you that seeks to glorify that which is the animal, that which is the mental, that which is the human side rather than the spiritual or the spirit of God. Be aware that as you rationalize the circumstances, as you put off that which is the action of God, you separate yourself from the word, from the light, and from the life. Jesus knew that which is temptation and thus He is that which is the helping hand and the force, if you would but call upon Him, that will lift you up, straighten your path and lift the burden from your shoulders. Therefore, repent and find that which is the kingdom of God within yourselves through the working of that which has been given you to use – your mind, and that includes the intellect; the will, which in itself is as a strata of the mind; and the spirit, which is the overall life of God within you. Rejoice, then, in the name of the Lord. Rejoice in the fellowship of the Christ and be about that which is the business of the service of God and the service to mankind, as ye have asked so often to be.
Q Is it possible for you to be a bit more specific about the ways in which we should change, the ways in which we should repent?
S Each individual must measure themselves to the blueprint of Jesus the Christ. As you act, so you are. In each moment you must begin to realize that you must put yourself forward into the image of the Christ as exemplified in Jesus the man and His movements and actions within this earth. We realize you do not have the source or that which is the clarity to the source as Jesus the Christ had, and yet He has given you that which are the stepping-stones to the doorway and each stepping-stone is labeled as to the actions of self. When you contact others, contact them in the manner you are convinced that Jesus the Christ would contact them. When you act, act in the manner that you believe is that of Jesus the Christ. React not, for Jesus the Christ reacted not. For He was, and is, action within this plane and beyond this plane. Have faith, for the backbone of Jesus the Christ was faith. When temptation comes to you, review the temptation. For each and every one of you have been faced, even this day, with temptations – so subtle, some not so subtle. There are those urgings of the mental body that are of this plane. There are actions within you that you would assume must be of this plane. And, as has been given so often, simplify the activity that you may be closer to God. Jesus simplified by making God that which is the focal point of His actions, His knowledge, His will, His love, and in so doing became love in action. You can do no less in your way. Therefore, when the temptation is to put yourself over your fellow being, even to that which are the minor issues within the life, review the actions and the true motivations of the actions of self. Review the desires that would obsess you. How many of you today have gone out to help the widow, the orphan, those who are poor in mind and in body? This is repenting.
Genesis 27:34-35
And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, “Bless me, even me also, O my father.” And he said, “Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing.”
S Worldly thought is always that which cries and seeks and wants for that which it thinks is its just due, even to that which is given to the spiritual nature. This is that which cries in you to make the most of this life, to bring to yourselves that which are the earthly plaudits, the earthly riches, the security of the material, that which is force, power, wealth, that which you show. In that, then, the blessing cannot be given, but to those who seek the spiritual will the blessing go to.
Genesis 27:36-37
And he said, “Is not he rightly named Jacob? For he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing.” And he said, “Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?” And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, “Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?”
S The material, the mental, the selfishness, always bemoans and asks to be looked at as that which is the suffering, the sorrow or that which has been sorrowed; whereas that which is seeking the rightful place, or the power must be that which is of the spirit. Hence the direction, then, to that of the material or the mental forces of this plane must be that there is an acceptance and that which are blessings is to be if the mental, the physical, the material fall into line in each and every individual behind that which is the spiritual, supporting rather than taking away from the spiritual nature or that which is the truth, which in itself is the blessing.
Genesis 27:38-40
And Esau said unto his father, “Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father.” And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, “Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above: and by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.”
S It is given, then, that the spirit will be served, that the physical-mental will be of this plane, that it will reap that which are the gains of this plane, the rewards of this plane, that the whole world will be as that which is the servant of those who are of the physical-mental bent. Though they have the opportunity to break the bonds and unite with that which is the spirit, it is for the seeking to join rather than that which is the crying, the whining, or that which would even as the use of the sword improperly. For the sword is that tool of the spirit, for man turns the sword, then, into that which is not the ploughshare, but that which is the weapon rather than the sword of the truth or the sword of that which is the judgment.
Genesis 27:41
And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.”
S The material, which you are all so much a part of, must hate that which is the spirit. For the spirit must dominate. The material mind, the ego mind, is that which will fight its utmost before that which is the losing battle. It is that which must be overcome, in itself, before it can raise itself and join with the spirit to be about the Father’s business within this world.
Genesis 27:42-45
And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him. “Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee. Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran; And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother’s fury turn away; until thy brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?”
S The holding thought, the prime thought, is then the directive, the warning, so sending that which is the spiritual person on the spiritual path to that which is represented as the purpose or the force to that land which is represented in the spiritual freedom, the spiritual joy, and in self truly that which is the resurrection of the spiritual nature of man to be that ground where the individual so sent may rejoice and grow in knowledge and in strength and in wisdom of the holy way.
Genesis 27:46
And Rebekah said to Isaac, “I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?”
S Here the holding force rejects that of Heth which is representative of the destructive ideas or the hate ideas or even more the fear ideas within humans or humankind. Fear is that which is the farthest thing from love. Though you may think hate is, it is fear that is the rejector of faith.
