Luke 3: Metaphysical Wisdom & Spiritual GrowthThis document offers a spiritual and metaphysical analysis of the third chapter of the Gospel of Luke. It explores Metaphysical Wisdom & Spiritual Growth; themes such as faith, spiritual awakening, and the deeper symbolic meanings of Jesus’ teachings and events in this chapter. The material emphasizes personal growth and spiritual enlightenment through the application of these teachings.

Luke 3:1

Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

S You have here the power, the structure of mankind as that which is the yoke upon the physical man, the mental man, contributing to that which is the enslavement of the spiritual being. These are man-made titles. These are man-made geographical areas. This is mankind trying to subvert that which is the spiritual inclination, the spiritual man. It occurs in the individual It occurs within groups. It occurs within and without of nations.

Q At which period of Jesus’ childhood was He taught by Jody at Carmel?

S From His seventeenth year to His twentieth year.

Luke 3:2

Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

S Here is the ego mind. Here, then, is the body mind, or the body physical aware mind. And then comes that which is the spiritual messenger or the spiritual awakening.

 Luke 3:3

And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

S Jordan is that which must be crossed to find that which is the spiritual nature, the spiritual calling. For here is the calling. Here is the cry, in truth, in the wilderness of your own being, in the wilderness of mankind. Seek, cross, and find! [10-65]

Luke 3:4

As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

S Here is that which is saying, “Now is the physical time, now is the mental time, that you will come to that which is `take’, `eat.’ This is my body and this is my blood.” For now you have that which is the beginning of that which might be termed the end, or the end of the journey for those souls, those entities that seek truly to leave that which is the material, and that which is the physical behind, in the service or the services of God.

Luke 3:5

Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

S There will be balance. There will be total identity. There will be no differences, no illness. There will be at-one-ment in that which is the recognition and the meeting of God.

Luke 3:6

And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

S All that has created will know of the mercy, the love, even as that which are the mental conditions, as created by mankind, will cast aside the curtain that has blinded and, in truth, binded selves to this earth, to the earthen things, rather than the spiritual, the love, the truth.

Luke 3:7

Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

S The warning as given: the warning is as now. Open up your hearts; rejoice in God. Use not that power that lies within each, even as the serpent here, the viper, used incorrectly by many at that time. For the truth and understanding of the forces were more prevalent at that time than now. And many raised those forces. And some realized, at the coming of John, that there must be a reconciliation. This is the warning that John gave, that those forces used incorrectly for self, for selfishness, would reap, to those who had sown, those rewards as justified by God.

Luke 3:8

Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not \to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

S Repentance begins in the mind. The actions thereof speak of true repentance. Will the forces, as raised within self, be used for God’s day or for selves’ night? Find not and seek not solace within the dictates of mankind, or the actions of mankind, or to allude to other acts of piousness, as man measures. But seek in the words, as God has given you to seek. Act in the works, as God has given you to act. Use that which are the forces: the love, the power of forgiveness. Bless those that do against you wrongs, however you conceive them to be, even when many times the wrongs do not exist, but are opportunities. Judge them not, but forgive, forgive – forgive and forget.

And now as that time draws to a close that we will be using this channel, we give our love, our gift of love, our blessings. The Blood of the Lamb is upon you, even as this is the day of forgiveness, even as this is the day of remembrance and so celebrated. We give you the remembrance of forgiveness.

Prayer – Channel

Father-Mother God, behold us. We offer You our minds, our bodies, our souls, oh Lord, to be used as You know is best, that others may see and know Thy face. For truly, Father, we believe in “others first, others first.”

The Lord is thy Shepherd, and truly He is merciful. Search thy hearts and cast out that which is fear, doubt, selfishness, that you truly may be as He intends you to be – the carriers of the message, the lights in the darkness, a platform for the Word, the place for the return, the force, the love, yes, the forgiveness. Be steady, be true, be loving and kind, be patient. Be ye ever patient with yourselves, for salvation is at hand.

Luke 3:9

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

S The cleansing (that is yours by right) of selves begins in that which is the cutting off of those things that are earthbound, and consumed in the cleansing force of the awakening spirit within self – always guided by that which are the activities of the endocrine system, as awakened and directed by that which is the spiritual force of the mind and the will in conjunction with that of the Christ Force arisen.

Luke 3:10-11

And the people asked him, saying, “What shall we do then?” He answereth and saith unto them, “He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.”

S Words are empty. Actions are empty. But words and actions together, be they of belief and of that which is the direction from within, are those beacons that guide others towards that which is the finding of the spiritual nature, the truth of the being.

Luke 3:12-13

Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, “Master, what shall we do?”And he said unto them, “Exact no more than that which is appointed to you,”

S You are the publicans. Ask no more than self can use for others. Ask no more than self can use to the glory of God. Squander not that which is given to you but bestow it on thy neighbor.

Luke 3:14

And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, “And what shall we do?” And he said unto them, “Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.”

S Even as that which is a military organization such as an army is governed by that which is discipline, so discipline yourselves, that that which comes to you will be used generously for others, and that you exceed not the bounds set spiritually, physically, and mentally, for yourselves. [10-66]

Luke 3:15-17

And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; John answered, saying unto them all,”I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.”

S You, too, must be as John, recognizing the place and position of selves. All must recognize the position of selves: that they are God’s messenger going before that which is the Second Coming. Would you be as that which is cast aside, or that which is of use? It is the pleasure of self to select. It is the right given to you by the Almighty Creator that you may make the choice. Will it be for that which is God, or that which is self? You have made decisions before, this way and that way, some selfishly, others unselfishly. You have climbed and worked to reach this time, this age (as man would see it), that you would come to this time to make the decision. For howest thou go will be that which determines for many, and for selves, the future, as time is.

Luke 3:18-20

And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people. But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip’s wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done, Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison.

S How will you receive the word that accuses yourself of misconduct, misdeeds, misuse? Will you bottle up, imprison the awareness? Will you make excuses, which is all the same? Will you rationalize and debate? Or will you accept and try? Be not as Herod. Be that which is the gateway, a light, a door, a path – not for self, but that others may see the Way, may bask in the Light, may hear the Lord, be, in truth, awakened.

Luke 3:21-22

Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, “Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”

S Who is not the son of God, the daughter of the Lord, child of the Creator? In that time, in meditation, when you are baptized by the Holy Spirit, will come that voice from within telling you of same. Therefore, regardless of the time consuming, the impatience of self, meditate, meditate. For meditation brings forth actions, and it is given, “actions speak louder than words.” Then let your words be of the Lord, your actions of the spirit, that you truly will be a child of God.

Q When we are partially christed, how would that compare and how would it differ with what Jesus, the man, experienced here?

S The awakening word within a child of God may be compared to a firecracker next to a stick of dynamite in that which is an experience of receiving the Word. But to be christed or baptized, in truth, in fullness as Jesus, is comparable to your nuclear device exploding throughout the creation of the mind-body-spiritual system as one unified unit. Whereas the firecracker awakens the physical to a degree, the dynamite moves the mind and the will. It cannot be impressed upon an individual or a group what Jesus experienced either coming in, going out, or even to that which is the awakening. For there is a three-stage awareness to the awakening – the birth of Jesus, the temptations in the wilderness, and the leaving of the body.

Luke 3:23

And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

S There you have the `supposed,’ you see, as to those who find the grandeur in that which is the succession of names, the family tree. And what is the family tree? Exactly that. It is the fruit of the tree that counts. Then you have that which for man is the following through the various names and performances of those associated in lineage but having no direct bearing upon Jesus. For Joseph was not his earthly father, nor his spiritual father, nor his mental father, but yet necessary to that which is the fulfillment of the Scriptures as given in times of old. The meaning is this: in the beginning is Adam (and you know the history of Adam as the one who came in to save those souls), who is succeeded by Seth, which is that which is the awareness and the discipline of that which must be attained. But the hollowness is following the pattern or stream of mankind. Though it is necessary for man to see and be aware of these things, it, in itself, is that illusion which is the path that mankind has chosen. Therefore, between Adam, including even that which is the name and that which is the place of Seth, nothing, absolutely nothing is of importance until the awakening of the Christ Force, or the vehicle for same in Jesus who sacrificed, you see, even to return from the sanity of that which is God’s fold to the insanity of mankind’s fold – which, in itself, is nothingness. Therefore, only then can you find attainment, but by going through the stages, even in illusion, to disillusion, that which you have accomplished. For of yourselves you accomplish nothing, but you are given the right, yes, the privilege, and more yet, the honor of trying.

Q Is there no way to reconcile this lineage with the actual years between Adam and Jesus, as we measure time?

S Oh, heavens no!

Luke 3:24

Which was the son of Mathat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph,

S This and the following may be considered the guide to that which you give. For you may dispense with the lineage. For they have, as given, no actual bearing except that selves must go through these stages, must find the path. Even though it be illusionary, it then is the concrete thing until that time of the awakening, beyond the awakening in that which is considered this earth plane. Therefore, you may bypass these passages concerning that which is as the lineage, the family tree.

Q Does each person named here represent a different, separate stage?

S Yes, but not of importance to the individual, for as you go through them you mark the stages. It is rather to show that time, as created by man, passes and man, in his illusion, does follow and believe, and be consumed, enveloped – yes, digested – by his own creation, his own need, until that which is necessary has been surmounted, surpassed, overcome. As given before, it may be done in one lifetime, though there’s hardly a chance for individuals, as you count lifetimes to be, to do same. As given before so often – patience, patience.

Q May we be given the actual time, as we measure time, of Amelius, who was known as Adam to us?

S Approximately 250,000 years.

N.B. Please note the verses 25-26 were skipped as they are merely the list of the lineage from Joseph to Adam.
