This document is an extensive metaphysical and spiritual analysis of the seventh chapter of the Gospel of Luke. It explores metaphysical insights and spiritual growth; the deeper meanings and symbolic aspects of the teachings and events in this chapter, focusing on themes like faith, spiritual awakening, and the application of Christ’s teachings in personal growth.

Prayer – Channel

Beloved Creator, we come before you, seeking love, mercy, seeking the Way, the Path and the Light. Through the Christ we pray now that we may become tools of Thy use, that our brothers, our sisters may find the Way, may find the Light, the Truth and the Love.

Source

They that would find the Light, the Way, the Truth, must often be in prayer. They that would find the Love and Mercy must act in same. For there is but one Path, one Way, and that through righteousness, that through faith. For the hour is at hand that you must determine your way. Will it be His way or your way? He that is the Lord has sent you the Comforter. Then use the Comforter. For the price has been great, the way is made easy. Then abandon selfishness. You need not seek new ways. You do not need to go afield. For, in truth, it has been given in times of old: the ground which you are upon is a holy place. The temple of righteousness is within you. Then open up your hearts. Feed the souls. For God is ever present. For the Christ is ever near. The arms are extended, and the hands beckon you near. The opportunity rests within each and every individual as they meet the world, as they view the day. As you show the patience of God, the love of the Christ, be merciful, be content, make God’s desire yours, that you, in truth, may be one with the Path.

Luke 7:1

Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

S The Capernaum of your body, or that which is the correctional center, or that which flows in the area of the cleansing, or normally called the solar plexus area, is that which has much to do with the reaffirming or redressing of the mind to that which are the spiritual necessities. Therefore, He, Jesus, physically approached the city of Capernaum, also withdrawing into Himself those forces to be used in that which is the cleansing process from the area that is as the solar plexus area.

Luke 7-5

And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, “That he was worthy for whom he should do this: For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.”

S There is much symbolism in that which is given here. First, the centurion is that which is the mind conditioned in that which is the religious outlook, that which are as the rigorous ways of following that which is a standard, or philosophy, or procedure. The Jew, or the Jews here, that which is the seeking, you see, beyond that which is normal for the Gentile, or the ordinary world, standing here for the religious thought, the religious way, or religion as set in a pattern. The servant, being that which is the seeking or the need arising within that which is the body, the mind, and the spiritual triad to assume its place, falling behind, needing that which is the spiritual growth awakening regeneration.

Luke 7:6-8

Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, “Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.”

S This is the act of faith. This is that which the mind and the will combined have seized upon, have come to believe, to use, calling to the Christ Force, to God, knowing the position of self, of being that which is not clean, not fully aware, not having earned the force of the Christ coming within under the roof – but nevertheless awakened in faith, knowing in faith that the force of God can do all things. This is faith.

Luke 7:9-10

When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, “I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

S Jesus, as the man, as the personality, was astounded in the actuality, or the actual happening – the Christ Force of Jesus, not surprised but overwhelmed with the wonder of the event. For this, in essence, is yourself, is all selves, at the time of awakening, at the time of understanding, at the time when conflict between mind and will are stilled and a common objective has been attained, that the mind and the will have become attuned and know their place, and in simple terms believe. This is when you are made whole. Regardless of the physical appearance, or status, the soul is released into its proper place within self. The barriers are down. But whether the barriers remain down is in the hands of the individual.

Luke 7:11-13

And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, “Weep not.”

S Nain is the place, the meeting of the trial where that which is of this world meets that which is of the spiritual. The material, the spiritual meeting, coming in, not in conflict, the spiritual coming to awaken that which is dead to the spirit, to enliven the world through that which are your actions of following that in the manner of Jesus, the belief.

Q Which center is Nain symbolic of?

S It is not a center but rather that which is the conflict that comes within the system of self that is being attuned. It is the residue of the will, specially forming between that which is the thymus and the thyroid.

Luke 7:14-15

And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.” And he that was dead sat up and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

S Here the bier (poetic, right?) is that which is the mind thought that has become you in this world which wrests the death of self. And yet, with the coming of the Lord by word, by action, by gesture, awakens that which is the truth within you, that in the real, in the reality, in the truth, you speak, you move in that which is God’s world, not man’s world, God’s world. For even as those who watched saw the Master of Life give life, those with the eyes of the soul saw life awakened, that lay next to death. This action takes place in an individual when the individual perfects that which are their actions toward others: loving independence, more than being endeared or endowed by the other; loving individuality by putting God into self, by, in truth, giving all that is of self, of mind, body, to the worship of the Lord. In short, that which was the second great commandment as given by Him that was christed – loving God, loving your neighbor as yourself.

Luke 7:16-17

And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, “That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.” And this rumour of him sent forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

S Judaea, the hope; Judaea, that place of seeking. Can you imagine the fear, the shock, even of those who believed, at seeing this event? Your mind, your body, as an individual thing combined, will be shocked, is shocked when the occurrence happens within self. For even those who have faith are amazed at the results. For the results are beyond that which are the normal senses. And for that moment, more senses within self are awakened, that you may know for the moment the meaning of the raising of the dead – how often misunderstood by mankind believing that the bodies, corrupt as they are, are taken from the grave. But the raising of the dead is that of selves.

Luke 7:18-20

And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things. And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, “Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?” When the men were come unto him, they said, “John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, ‘Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?'”

S This is the beginning within yourselves of knowing that the primary objectives have been reached, that that which is the truth of now will be superseded by the truth of a new presence. Even as one climbs a ladder rung-by-rung, or a stairway step-by-step, so the actions of faith, of seeking, of works, reach a new plateau. And you, too, will seek to know if that which has been awakened is the next step, the higher step.

Q Did John really have any doubts at this time or was he just playing his role?

S This was as “the role.” This was to establish, for the records, that he John (even as the centurion, you see) acted, saying in effect, “I am not worthy to go to You. Though mankind sees me as the leader, as one with authority, I recognize, and they must recognize, that I see the Master of Life being far above, and I as not worthy – only through the acceptance of the Christ.”

Luke 7:21-23

And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then Jesus answering said unto them, “Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”

S For who are offended? Those with power, those with authority, those who could not believe. And know this: there were those there that saw these things you would term as miracles but refused to believe. Therefore, as you meet the Christ within yourselves, make the choice as John made the choice, as His disciples made the choice, rather than those who would turn away, who would remain blind and crippled, what have you. For their love of the material exceeded that which was the need or the love of the spiritual.

Luke 7:24-25

And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, “what went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously appareled, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.”

S Judge not by man’s standards that which is the spirit. Know that there is no easy, soft way, that there must be the physical, mental cleansing which at times becomes painful. For there is adjustment to that which is the personality, the suspending of that which is the ego-centered personality, and the extending of self to find that which is the true ego personality, the spiritual force, the product of the soul within self. And yet, as given so often, seek and ye shall find. Ask and ye shall receive. Knock and the door will be opened. For this is truth. This is the way. Therefore, oft be in prayer, oft be in meditation. And by all means make yourself a tool of God by loving, forgiving, being patient, and serving those that have the needs in the spirit. This does not mean being a slave to others. This does not mean throwing yourself where there shall not be fruit. But find the fruit in those that would attune, that would seek also, that would question, that, in truth, look rather than reject or barely mouth, mouth that which is a love of God.

Luke 7:26-27

“But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet. This is he, of whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.'”

S Find the prophet. Find the messenger. Find them in your heart. And yet know, once it has served its purpose, the messenger, the prophet are put aside in recognition of the Christ, which is and has been and shall always be for you of this plane, the Way, the Gate to the Light.

Luke 7:28

“For I say unto you, among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

S For John, being a prophet, for John, being a messenger was human, and in the human capacity made errors, did not live spiritually twenty-four hours a day, as you make time to be, was not one hundred percent spiritual. For being human, showed those flashes in anger, in criticism, and yet was greater than any but Jesus. And yet was nothing. Therefore, realize the greatness of God who forgives, who gives mercy, who gives a Savior that ye might be saved and find the Way, the Love. Use the opportunity that you have chosen, that others, too, may realize there is a God, there is one God. And yet God is not human, but Spirit.

Q Did all of his prophecies concern the coming of the Messiah?

S In its way, yes, though he accurately predicted step-by-step the events for the next 2,000 years.

Luke 7:29-30

And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

S The baptism of John was the awakening to that which is the awareness. And those that rejected the awareness were those that closed their hearts, that would be bound with the material, that calcified their centers, that rationalized, that loved the material, that believed in pain, suffering, and the hardship, especially to others, that rejected the fact that was believed and lived by, by the greater number of peoples at that time – reincarnation.

Luke 7:31-32

And the Lord said, “Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like? They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, we have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.”

S Look around you. The world has not changed, not one iota, not one degree, not a bit. For those that would see, see; those that would hear, hear; and those that would whine and cry and beg, still do. As was given at the beginning of this reading, you must find not a desire, not complacency, not self-satisfaction but contentment, even in the dire times, or those times you think are dire. But do find contentment in the fact that God does love you, the Christ is aware of you, Jesus the Standard Bearer will lead you, and the Light is awakened and aware.

Q If the world hasn’t changed and if the people haven’t changed, why all these centuries, why all these reincarnations?

S Because there will be a time of awakening and it is now.

Luke 7:33-35

“For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! But wisdom is justified of all her children.”

S This is self-explanatory. Mankind always rationalizes and turns and twists, using the mind and the mouth to ward off those things which would cause discomfort to the selfishness. And when the tongue slips, the feet take over, and the dance is quick. For mankind ever has found excuses. Mankind has always dodged the issue once the entities were captured in that which is termed mankind, once the spirits were enslaved in that which was the carnal. But the lessons will be learned, the Way shall be found, the Light is ever patient, the Light is ever true. For God has made it so. Rejoice in the opportunity to live, and live again and again, so that the opportunity is always present, so that love may be expressed, so the day of awakening and reckoning will be met. How? By the Christ, by the arisen Christ, for He, the Master, will awaken in all of you, and return in the physical, lest ye be lost, lest ye lose the path, the way, that He so meticulously, so laboriously, has constructed for you, and you, and all of you.

RAM Reading 10-71

Prayer – Channel

Our Father which art in heaven, send forth Thy love, that we may know Your way, that we may know what we as Your children must do. Help us, Father, through the Christ, to see the Light, to understand, to find the patience, to persevere, to search, to love.

Source

Behold the Light! Behold the Way! Behold that which is Love! Behold that which is the Christ! Hold to that which is given to thee that the Lord thy God may be known to you as One. See your place. Seek that which is the Word. For well it has been written that He, Jesus, is the Word; the Christ is the Light. Therefore, know you this: if you do not bow down to the Lord within, you may never bow down to the Lord without.

Luke 7:36-38

And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house and sat down to meat. And behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment. And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

S You are the Pharisees. You invite the Christ in by your standards, even as the Pharisee would judge by that which is the word as understood by mankind, the law. Yet, within you is that which seeks repentance, that which is symbolized here as the sinner who comes before the Lord, or, as given here, behind Him that is the Christ, seeking repentance, seeking love, realizing that which has been done, the breaking of the laws within the personal realm, the everyday realm, life as it is each and every hour to each and every individual; that which is the alabaster, the purity of the act, or that which is the seeking, that which is the understanding of self’s place, Christ’s place, in the scheme of things. These are the tears that are shed. These are the tears that wash that which are the sins. For it is true repentance when the heart gives that which is the sentencing to that which are the deeds – true repentance has come forward. The mind, though, being that which is the Pharisee, does then judge.

Luke 7:39-43

Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, “this man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answering said unto him, “Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee.” And he saith, “Master, say on.”  “There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?” Simon answered and said, “I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most”. And he said unto him, “thou hast rightly judged. “

S In the walks, in the climbs of everyday life, you who sin and fall short may seek that which is the mercy, the love, yes, the grace of the Lord. You that recognize the Christ within, the Christ without, the Lord within, the Lord without, will find the way and the greater repentance. For those who repent only superficially, or to the light degree, as seen by that which is the Pharisee (for remember, the Pharisee believed to be that which was the select, that which was the forgiven before the fact or before the sins occurred, who even believed because of living to the measure of the law that there was no sin), these are those that are caught upon the wheel of the mind, the karmic wheel. For the soul is that which comes forward, begging, crying, atoning for that which has occurred upon it and within it through that which is the physical-mental world thrust into that which is the spiritual, which is then captured within the physical body and subjected to same.

Luke 7:44-47

And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, “Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed by feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.”

S Sacrifice, works – these are the signs of faith. And yet, what is the greatest work but that which is love. Even as you proceed through your day, become that which is the giver, not the taker. See justice in that which are the works of the Lord. See love in that which are the opportunities that present themselves to you. For it has been given so often, it is the kindly thought, the helping hand, the smile, the patience, yes, the long-suffering of your brothers, your sisters, and their ways, their habits, that is the key to their salvation. And only through that may you return to that which is your rightful place and status in God’s outlook, in God’s plan, in the scheme of life.

Q Regarding “it’s better to give than to receive” and it was said “be the giver, not the taker.” But we can’t have givers unless there are takers. We have to allow people to give and to do this we must also learn to take.

S Some of the greatest givers of all time you would presume to be takers.

Q Please explain that.

S Those who present themselves many times give you the opportunity to be that which is the giver. To be the greatest giver at times is to be the one who assumes or you assume to be the taker. If you are taking for personal gain, if you are taking for that which is the physical-mental being, or the mental-physical being, you are a taker. If you are giving of that which is the spirit, or taking through that which is the spirit, giving the opportunity for the spirit of others to respond to the apparent need, or that which is the harmony, that which is the music of God within this earth, then you are doing the spiritual nature, which is, in itself, the giver.

Q I have been told that you make faster and more progress here on this material earth and I can’t understand how that can be possible. It seems like it’s so infinitesimally slow.

S Ah, but isn’t that the point? [10-131]

Luke 7:48-50

And he said unto her, “Thy sins are forgiven.” And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, “Who is this that forgiveth sins also?” And he said to the woman, “Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”

S Faith, faith. The words here are given for you, even as the individual that you are. “Your faith has made you whole.” Let that be the truth of your being. For as you live, as you act through the minute, through the hour, through the day, you are proceeding for that, or away from that which is the forgiveness of sin, the forgiveness of error. That which is the fullness of God awaits you, if, without binding, without seeking that which is the reward, or even that which is the justification for the action, you allow that which is your true nature, the God nature of self, to proceed forward. For did He not, Jesus the Christ, act so? Was this not His greatest gift to you? For you to see the pattern of how He allowed the God the Father within to do the work. In this alone is enough to keep you busy for this life and those lives to come.

Q What was this woman’s name?

S This has no bearing upon learning at this time. For that which is the physical being, the woman’s name would be “Awakening.”
