This document is a detailed analysis of Luke Chapter 15 from the Bible, focusing on its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It includes Parables of Lost & Found, God’s Love in Spiritual Journey; parables of the Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Prodigal Son, emphasizing themes of repentance, forgiveness, and the joy of finding what was lost. The material explores the deep spiritual lessons in these parables about God’s love and grace towards humanity.
Luke 15:1-7
Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, “This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.” And he spake this parable unto them, saying, “What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, ‘Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.’ I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
S How wonderful is this glorious promise to you! How wonderful it is that the grace and mercy of God shows forth itself in that which has just been given. There is truly rejoicing in the kingdom of heaven, were those found and restored to the proper place. How much joy in the individual when one thought is refound, one light is rekindled, one thought of the negative recalled, one thought of the positive put forward. This is the finding within yourselves. Therefore, rejoice within the spiritual nature of yourself when that one element of yourself that is lost is found. Seek each day to find one part of self that has been lost, that there may be rejoicing in the soul of self, even as you have found that which is part of yourself, that one day there may be rejoicing in heaven over the finding of the true self, the soul force of self and the releasing of same into the kingdom of heaven.
Luke 15:8-10
“Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.’ Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
S Words are great things, but even in that as given in days of old, “actions speak louder than words.” So truly rejoice within yourself. Act in the manner, as given, that you may bring glory to that which is the name of God. Restore that which is the nature of self to this world, not the nature of mankind, but the nature of self. Let that piece of silver found be as that which is an act of self towards God by blessing your brothers, your sisters, by your acts of mercy and living in “others first, Father, others first.”
Luke 15:11-13
And he said, “A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me.’ And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.”
S God has provided His plenteousness for all of you. You have wasted it and thrown it asunder. You have lived, as this one, in riotous living. And yet there is hope, for God knows His creation, and you are His creation. He has given you freedom of thought and movement. He has given you freedom of judgment of yourselves and you have accepted. And His promise is love and forgiveness, if you will live through Him, for Him, and by Him.
Luke 15:14-17
“And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!'”
S When comes the time you realize your position, what you have squandered, when you realize the circumstances of the soul force of self, then comes that time when there is a great cleansing within yourself, when you must humble yourself, lower yourself, that is to say, put aside and, if possible, destroy that which is the physical- mental ego. Then comes that which is the remembrance of the Creator, the one redeeming force – what to do, where to go, how to seek, whom to seek.
Luke 15:18-20
“‘I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.’ And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.”
S Even so, your Father in heaven will give to you that which is the recognition of what and who you are, if you approach Him in truth, if you realize your position, if you seek not rewards, but to serve, to be the servant of the Father within this which is the world plane. Seek and ye shall find, and this is the truth.
Luke 15:21-24
“And the son said unto him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him: and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.'”
S What is death? What is being lost? That which has removed yourself, or is that of removing yourself from the knowledge and awareness of God by putting other things before God. Here is the entity receiving God, the Creative Force, the Spirit, by realizing that there is nothing but God, nothing can be done without God, that God is the moving, God is the creating, and that God is love; that without God you are nothing; that without God you cannot do anything of consequence, and what you have done is the illusion of selfishness, the results of selfishness, the destructive force. This is the spiritual awakening to where and what you are.
Luke 15:25-32
“Now his elder son was in the field; and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, ‘Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.’ And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore, came his father out, and entreated him. And he answering said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.’And he said unto him, ‘Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.'”
S Within this earth plane there are those who believe that they live within that which are the guidelines of God, and judge, then, and cannot understand why some seem to get rewards when they get none. Also, there are those though, that are close to the earth, work through the earth, and are, to an extent, sullied by the earth, and do not understand why there is equality when those of earth are forgiven and reach the same planes as those, who have not fallen, are upon. And because of the proximity to that which is the earth and the forces that have been created by mankind in their negative ways within this earth, so, too, are those interfered with on another plane, and the learning must take place that all must be forgiven and all fall short the glory of God, regardless whether they be unfallen, or angels, or what have you. For only God is perfect, only God is love. Though you may seek perfection, though you may seek love – even in the seeking shows that you are imperfect. And yet, God is ever ready to raise you up to the position that you may assume, regardless of where or what you are; once again – angel, unfallen or fallen – it makes no difference to God. For God sees no difference with anything He has created. It is for the Holy Spirit to discern the levels of accomplishment, and guide through that which is the Christ within the planes, you see, where each and ever creation of God fits to its most perfect within that which is the scheme of things, as God has planned, is planning, and does plan.
