This document provides a comprehensive analysis of John Chapter 1 from the Bible, focusing on the Divine Word. It explores the themes of the Word as God, the role of John the Baptist, the concept of spiritual awakening, and the deeper meanings behind the teachings of Jesus Christ. The material emphasizes
Originally Matthew was published as a book and an introduction to RAM was placed at the beginning of the book.
We have chosen to place this Introduction at the beginning of the first chapter of each of the books of the Bible.
INTRODUCTION TO RAM
A motto for the group’s work was given by the Source as that which was embodied in the prayer that Jesus said as He walked the hills of Galilee, ”Others first, Father, others first.‘‘ This prayer is frequently given throughout the subsequent readings as a reminder of the true purpose of the work.
The group was given its name, and the meaning, as follows: ‘RAM, or RAM, is that which will be the working name for the group. That which is RAM is that which guides from the East. This is the word, the name of GOD. For you, or this group, better to use that which is RAM-RAM in the Hebrew tongue is the connotation or the meaning, to extol, to raise to the highest, even to an extent rejoice in the raising of same.“
It was later stated, ”It is not the Source of these readings, but the results of these readings that are RAM, for it is the exultation of God that which will raise up a people that will once again worship in cleanliness and love.”
WORDS OF ADVICE AND WARNING REGARDING THIS MATERIAL
The Source gave these words of advice, ‘Even material such as we give you must be weighed and evaluated within each and every individual as to the needs and processes that are necessary for the individual. For if ye are fed this and ye are not of this level, or ready for this level, then this is not the teacher and ye would be led astray.
For many are there who, in honesty and in truth, would hear these words, even as they heard the words of the Prince of Love, Jesus the Christ, who could not receive them, and used and fell back upon that which was correct for them, their religion of the time, even as now. And it was not sinful, nor wrong, nor misdoing upon their part, nor will it be upon the parts of those who cannot accept, cannot believe that which comes through this channel, through this group-for each has his place, his time, and his abilities.” And again, “If what is given here does not meet your ideal, it must be rejected.
Only if it gives to you the fruits of the spirit meeting your ideal are these readings, this Source, to be of influence or use to self. See?”
BUT . . . This was also given, “And when the entity sees the fruits-and where the fruits are good, let it be known that it is from the Source of Life Itself.”
Behold! The day of the Lord is at hand and ye shall carry His word across the land to those who would seek and know His way, His truth, His love.”

Prayer – Channel
Most merciful Father, oh Lord God, be merciful to us and to all Your children. Hear our pleas, oh Father, that you send to us your knowledge, Your wisdom, Your love, that Your purposes may be made known, that the Way may be made clear. And give us, oh Father, Your help in all these things, and those things which we do not know that we need Your help in. In short, Lord, be with us, guide us, love us.
Source:
It is written in the days of old, “The truth shall set you free.” And now we bring you the Truth, we bring you the light, and the Life, we bring you the Love. You have stumbled, you have erred, you have fallen astray. And yet, you have the Word, you have the help, you have that which is the promise and the helping hand. For the Comforter moves among you, and is with you and in you. You have been given that which is the synoptic gospels. You have been given the Word and the understanding and the meaning. You have received the primer that you may understand that which is given to you now. For that which was given you in Matthew, Mark, and Luke is that which is to make you understand the width, the depth, that which is the breadth, of the metaphysical, that which is also the actual happenings that you may begin to understand that which is John. For John is like the Light. For John is like unto the Word. For in the truth, the Word was with God from the beginning before things were made, and the Word dwelt within God. For the Word was light and is light. And God saw the Word was good and, therefore, through the Word was created mankind – the cosmos as you know it. And the Path was made ready. And the understanding of John is this, to be kept in mind at all times: you have Promise, you have the Way, you have the Means. And the Word, is this: salvation rest not within knowledge, for knowledge in itself is sin. It is wisdom that makes knowledge a useful tool to save your brothers and your sisters. Understand what saving brothers and sisters means. You do not carry them; you do not , in actuality save them, for God saves. If you carry them, you destroy them. Then, how do you, in your frame, your understanding, and your wisdom, “save” your brother, your sister? By giving the opportunity to stand upon their own feet. To the detriment of this society, and many other societies, the foolish would pick the brother up and carry the brother, leaving them not the opportunity to earn the way. For you are in this life to learn, to earn – not to be a parasite, not to be that which is a detriment to others. If you would succeed, you must be allowed the opportunity to stand upon your feet, and then to help the others raise to their feet and walk alone. You must understand that karma is that which is giving in to the willfulness or the desires of the past. It does not, therefore, mean something that cannot be overcome. You must see, you cannot overcome that which is your brother, your sister’s karma. You must understand that which is the spiritual message. Therefore, all that has gone before through these readings leads to that which is given you at this time. For this is the spiritual message, this is the guidance, and it contains the absolute promise from the creator, God the Father, God the Mother, the Lord God of Hosts. And in that which is the studying of this, is the key to understanding Jesus, the Christ. For Jesus the Christ is the epitome that comes before and after that which is the announcer, the messenger, John, that comes before and after that which is John the spoken, that comes before that which is David, the first love, that comes before and after that which is Moses and before Abraham. Now this is the Word, for it is that which is your ticket, your opportunity. And once upon this path you cannot succumb to that which is another way. That is to say, it is the spiritual path and once truly upon the spiritual path, woe to those that step aside or renege on the opportunity.
Prologue to the Book of John
Q David is referred to as first love. Please explain this statement.
S David became that which manifested the truth of love within mankind. Hence, he became the first love of the Almighty as in human form. For David manifested that which was the epitome of human love towards others, towards himself, and towards God–one step from the spiritual love of self, others, God. David expressed within himself and with actions towards others, these things, and had come from the lowest to the highest as far as man can manifest these feelings without being above mankind. God loved David as that which showed and proved the success of mankind to perform to its highest ability prior to that which is the christing. That David could overcome all those influences of mankind was that which gave him, or the entity that was David, the ability to go forth, rise up, and become Jesus, which in itself is Love–not loved by God–but Love. [10-106]
Q Why was John, the Beloved?
Q This is a quote from Edgar Cayce’s reading 1598-2. “John was written by several, not by John who was the Beloved, but the John who represented, or was the scribe for John the Beloved. And as much of same was written at different times and combined some fifty years after the crucifixion.” Was John, the scribe as here indicated, male or female?
S Female. [10-107 ]
Q With regard to an earlier question on Moses, it was given that a female assisted in the writing of the first five books of the Old Testament. Would that have been Miriam, and if so, did she have involvement in any of the gospels?
S You have an astute mind. Yes, as a totally different entity.
Q Was she one of the holy women, deeply involved in the writing of John?
S Absolutely. [10-105]
Q Was the fourth gospel originally written in Sanskrit?
S Correct, and then in Aramaic.
Q By Mary of Bethany in India, where she had been sent by Jesus?
S Correct, but not in as India today, but in those lands affected by the Greeks along that which is the corridor from the Middle East into northwest India. [10-107]
Q Did she go to India shortly after the resurrection or later after her journey to Rome?
S Both.
Q On the first trip was she accompanied to India by James and John bar Zebedee.
S Correct.
Q Did anyone else go with her?
S The seventeen that were known as followers; one, Timothy, that later traveled into that area which is now known as France and Britain.
Q How long did she stay on that first trip?
S Two years. [10-107]
Q Were there other writers of the gospel of John besides Mary of Bethany?
S There was a stable of writers, but those which were the most important have been given. It is as those who were the assistants; were the ones who checked for errors, made sure that the manuscripts were correct, that in case of controversy in that which was written, that they had their notes to present. They were more as those which you would call stenographers today, keeping the type of shorthand notes to fill in for that which was given at the time. Also kept records of surrounding dates, et cetera, of that which was the recording of the statements to be made into that which were the scriptures.
Q They might also be called scribes?
S Not quite so as the term of scribe normally is given. Scribe really is a title of a master recorder. Misused quite a bit. Yes, in a sense, there were scribes but not as the ones who were in control, or those who were the most important. Might be more termed as apprentice or underlings, or even as “reserve scribes.”
Q Was Mary Magdalene one of the major writers of the gospel of John?
S Much so. For this was the one who expressed the love as understood through that which is the feminine aspect, which in this plane is the greater.
Q And Mary of Bethany was the other major…..
S Correct.
Q In respect to John the Beloved, that is, the son of Zebedee, he did dictate some material, but I presume, from what has been said so far, that the bulk of the material, as far as being authors are concerned, actually came from the female side. Is this true?
S They wrote down that which was given, much as your recorders now take down that which are the verbal statements as interpreted by that which is the neural system of the entity that is the channel. [10-108]
Q In the Edgar Cayce readings it states that John the Beloved was the last and youngest person to become an apostle of Jesus. How old was he when he became an apostle?
S Seventeen. [10-131]
John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
S Ignorance, selfishness, foolishness, curiosity, those things that hold men to this plane, and in this plane, cannot overcome, cannot overshadow, cannot despoil the Light. That which is given to you here is the truth. And understand and believe the truth, for the Light, the Christ, dwells within you. Make the measure of your day the opportunities that come your way, measured by the knowledge, the wisdom that the Christ knows each thought, each action that you live through each day. In the beginning God was and is. And God created that which is the Word from Himself, in Himself, through that which would be considered to you, the Herself. For God, then, held within Itself the Word, until the Word was fully created. And the Word was given the opportunity to be. And as God the Father and Mother saw this to be good, gave, through that which is the Word that became the light of mankind, the opportunity to create. And through the creation came that process from which came all that is as you understand it to be. And in that process the Word knew the opportunity and the duty, even as you must understand the opportunity and duty of self. For self must become as the Word, not one that evangelizes, criticizes, what have you, but one that lives the Word through each day, through that which comes to the individual. To live each day in the Lord is to live for others. You have been given often enough that which is a motto, or the way, or the path, “others first, Father, others first.” You must now learn to mean it. It does not mean that you are in servitude; it does not mean that you are a lackey. It means you will give of your greatest to the best interests of an individual. This best interest may be denying them or recognizing their needs. It must be evaluated within yourself as to what is the opportunity, and what follows that which is the teaching of the one God. And remember, the watchword is love. Even as it has been given so often, to love the Lord, to love your neighbor, and yes, to love yourself.
Q Would you please clarify as best as possible the meaning of the term “Word”
S Word is creation. Word is life. Word is promise. Word is the Christ. Word as Jesus epitomizing that which is mankind’s struggle to succeed. Word is that which is love carried to others. Word is service. Word is that which is never ending. It is life, light and love. In short, it is that which is created by the Father from self at the time of creation. For it was ever with the Father, ever with the Mother. It is the offspring. It is one and the same. It is one that you can become part of, even as given, “I and the Father are one.” So the Word was before all things were made. For the first love of the Father, the Mother was of the Word that became Jesus the Christ. [10-87]
Q How does the Word relate to the Big Thought that God had at the beginning?
S From the Big Thought came the Word. In the Big Thought was the Word. And of the Big Thought is the Word. If you cannot understand time, we can’t explain it further exactly – the Thought and the Word essentially were one.
S First, as ever, as given, was the Word and that which was before the Word–and even meaning the Word is that which is the mind, or the thought. [10-20]
John 1:6-l2
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
S You, too, have the messenger within you, the glimmer of light that opens the pathway to that which is your opportunity, spiritually, mentally, physically. For it has been given over and over – God is a spirit. Therefore, (as) you work from the spiritual to the mental and to the physical, realizing that creation is now taking place, realizing that the Word is within you and also without, that the Light may be given to others through your actions, through your deeds. As John Baptist was the messenger and came in knowing that which was the role to be played, was given, though, the latitude and the opportunity of how the role was to be played. Even so, Jesus, who had written the script, you see, came in knowing the same, and to work this way or that way as the opportunity best suited that which was being written, even then, by the prophets. For, as we have explained time in the metaphysical sense (which is the true sense), that time is that which is used by yourselves to live the opportunities of the day. So at that time the prophets were being given that which was to be given to the people as to that which was to come and had already become. For the spiritual is as a set of mirrors, as you would see it, whereupon many things are played from reverse to the correct, to the reverse, to the correct, and so forth. And (that) you may see in one mirror many mirrors and many images. And yet, all are one. And (that) the images are that which are the opportunities and the image here of the Light for mankind, the Word (at that time and even as now, not known by some, turned aside by others, but accepted by some) and those are not of the flesh, nor of the blood, nor of this earth, but are of the cosmos, of the spirit and are that of the Creator, rather than desires, the will, the flesh.
Q This statement, made by the Source concerning our “actual doing and being”. What does this mean?
S It means thus: as to live to the fullest and to become as the Way–the means for the Way to return, as to be the light, or as given here in John, to bear witness of the light, see? [10-3]
John 1:13-18
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, “This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
S And, in truth, John did cry – not cry out as you would imagine from that which is the text, but physically, emotionally cried. How awed were the people of that time that saw none of these emotions come from John except that which was hellfire and brimstone, the warnings, the fury, the pleas of passion, but not the tears. How they were swayed by that which were the tears. For John did not cry out in a loud voice, but was quiet, subdued, overcome with that which is joy, which is love. For you see, that entity knew at that time, as before, (but greater at that time did that entity know) who Jesus was, where in reality they were, what was truly happening, and understood the script as given. For you see, in truth, Jesus retained that which was the line of communication, the spiritual cord, directly to that which was the Creative force, to the Holy Spirit, and released as was the opportunity given, the spirituality of himself, the Christ force. For remember, though Jesus at that time as you see it, as history would see it, was not christed spiritually – emotionally was christed. For all time is one, all happenings are as one, all happening is at the same time. And as the overcoming came upon the cross, so it passed through Jesus, through those lives, those times, that were before, that were at present, and were one – even as that which your own christing will be, that time when you receive that which is the glory of God, setting aside the ego or that which is the ego makeup of the individual personality as created by yourselves, exposing that and accepting that which is the true personality, the spiritual personality; christing yourself through the mercy of God, through the grace of Jesus the Christ, at that time through time, and of all time. You redeem yourself, no longer being in any stage that you have been, but being the true stage, the one stage. This is the promise as given in this chapter.
Q Please define the meaning of grace.
S This is the same grace as given where you can become christed. For as we have just given, in the explanation through that which is the esoteric or the metaphysical understanding of time, all things are as one. Jesus became grace, the opportunity to break karma, to put aside that which is the wheel, tp become that which you were created in and of and from. Therefore, it is retroactive as you might understand, to a new time and place as you would see it, or a past time place – and becomes grace. This is the opportunity not only to become christed, but to give grace to others, the forgiveness, the original position, but with wisdom – the wisdom that God had you earn through that which is the experience that becomes non-experience, that becomes the hope and fact of your being.
Q Please elaborate on the terminology “emotionally christed.”
S In that which are the emotions (which at times govern the mind) Jesus was spiritual in nature. The emotions here were of love of God and God’s love of Jesus. They became one at this time. You might think of it as that which is the frosting on a cake–does not penetrate the entire cake but it is there and affects that which is the taste process of one who ingests same. [10-106]
John 1:19-23
And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who art thou?” And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” And they asked him, “What then? Art thou Elias?” And he saith, “I am not.” “Art thou that prophet?” And he answered, “No.” Then said they unto him, “Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?” He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as said the prophet Esaias.”
S Understand what is given here. For when you feel those stirrings within yourself, those releases of energies, those understandings of that which is the psychic, or the psychical, that which is as the knowledge not yet tempered with the wisdom, that which is the power and authority that seems to pour forth in you, then comes that which is the true measure. And as John gave here, “I am not the Christ.” What he was saying is, “You may be led astray by that which comes to you, thinking you have reached that which is the Christ.” Over and over again, those which raise within themselves the spiritual way stop short, caught in that which are the remnants of their own egos, their own intellects, their devil, and believe they have that which is the Host, that which is the Creator – but have fallen short. For the difference between your finding that which is your messenger, which stirs up within you the cause, the way, is even that which is the difference between John Baptist and Jesus the Christ. Though great love was between those two for eons of time, both accepted the position knowing full well that they served that which was the purpose of God. The personality of Jesus as the man was dependent upon that which was the residual Christ within himself, awaiting to be reborn, that which is the Word to blossom into that which is the salvation, and John Baptist realizing that within himself, then, was the full- blown messenger, and, in truth, the voice that cries within the wilderness of the world and of self. But as a voice that cries out fades away and only lives as the echoes, so did John understand that same thing, but realizing the promise that had been made to him before all times and made to man in time, that all will accomplish in the footsteps, the footprints, in the path, in the sounds of, through that which is the opportunity, the Prince of Love, Jesus the Christ.
Q Why did John deny that he was Elijah?
S Because at that time he was not acting as Elijah. He was acting as John. The aspect of Elijah was present, visible to John, but was not within John, acting through John, or in tandem with John. For John was singular, being John. [10-106]
John 1:24-28
And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said unto him, “Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?” John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.” These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
S You have the opportunity, and you must cross that which is the Jordan of yourself: between the intellectual-mental self and that which is the mental-spiritual personage. John awakens you. The messenger goes through John that is the beloved to that which is the Christ. For you must baptize. You must wash with water, first, the purification of your mind, your thought patterns, your actions, your reasoning, your dedication. This leads you to that which is He Who baptizes with the fire of cleansing love that lifts you spiritually from the physical, cleans you, refreshes you, and gives you life abundant. As John Baptist awakens within you that which will sacrifice the physical-mental man, as John did, and develop that which is the spiritual man (which is John the Beloved) from whence the birth or rebirth of the true spirit (which is the Christ Jesus) is then the step-by-step-by-step process. You have been given that you are gods in the abuilding. Then realize! You must believe! You must accept the opportunity. You cannot abide in selfishness, self-pity, rationality, or what have you, that is of this plane. You must realize the position you are in, the position that God is in, and realize you have an advocate. And that advocate stands before the throne of God in your behalf. This is not an idle thing that we give you. This is, if you can understand it, so awesome, so wonderful, so loving. As you develop, as you begin to control that which is the earth plane, the will of the earth, the desires of the earth, you then follow the steps of contemplation of what you are, your position is, the position of John, and John, and John (for this is where you’re at) to that which is Jesus. Then you may meditate in truth. Then you may receive that which is the still small voice that has been promised to you and has become stilled and small because you will not hear it. Then, you will have the opportunity of overcoming.
Q Who was the third John being referred to?
S John is the epitome of John which is the spirit, or the seeker or the Beloved. And John which is that which is the messenger, the fierce, the power, the voice. Coming together they become that which is John which is, in truth, love and spirit, the working in mankind which is John both the messenger and Beloved. This is one step to that which is the use of the Holy Spirit, as the Holy Spirit – rather than that which is the spirit that pours forth through a group – through an individual as the third John. (10-86)
John 1:29-34
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, ‘After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.’ ” And John bare record, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, ‘Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.’ And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.”
S Though they had worked and studied together, John was referring to that which was not knowing – meaning the non-understanding of the position. For though John was more learned in the spiritual than any man living at that time, he realized the supremacy of Jesus, and also realized the sign that must be. And also at that time (even as within yourselves, you must receive signs, you must work with evaluations, you must value and evaluate) so John was speaking to the peoples, even as he speaks to you saying, “Though I was born before, in this life I had knowledge of the previous life that Jesus came before, and proceeds before and after me.” The people of that time understood this message and realized what this man was saying. They believed that John Baptist was the word of God in action, not understanding that the Christ is the word of God in action but knew of such things. And as he proclaimed one to be greater than he, and to proceed him though He came after him, gave the recognition of that which was the work and place of Jesus the Christ. For though John spoke to the people of his day, he spoke to the people of all times and places to that which is the soul awakening to understand the position, power, and glory of that which is the Christ that dwells within, complete thought with that which is the Holy Spirit and the Creative Force.
Q Can you clarify what was meant here when John spoke of Jesus being the Son of God?
S To the understanding of the peoples at that time, the first son was the preferred being of the family and of the state. For the eldest son was the inheritor of the position in the family and in the state. They understood this word, “the son”. Also, most (even those who were of the illiterate) were well versed in that which was the interpretation of that which were the scriptures, the allegories, and also that which was the Apocrypha to that time and realized that the mentioning of “the son” meant that which was God, of God, and from God; that the power if of the prince was rested in that which is the throne or that which is the king, the Lord, Yawah, Yaywah, God the Father, all of the terminology, you see. Yah, in that which is human form, is the Son. This is why is was spoken and said, “For no man has seen God, He is a spirit.” And Jesus later in the flesh said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” How could this be? Through the Yah which was incarnate within that which is the flesh. For Yahweh could not be seen, for Yahweh was the spirit, but Jesus as the man was Yah, the Son, understood, as given later, as the First Son. All of you are sons, but He being that which was the first created – and from Him came you – must retain the title as First Son.
Q Could we have an explanation of a seeming contradiction to two statements? One was in Ram reading 10-37 in Matthew which stated, “none that comes first. For all were created equal, all were created at the same time.” Now this states that “He being that which was first created – and from Him came you”.
S In the act of creation, even as that which is developing the time sequences, or patterns, or that which is known as time for your understanding, and for the cosmic understanding, there is a separate creation of that which is life itself from whence all things come. For when God moved, and God thought, and God became, God created that which would deal with all things to be. And from that came selves, or the soul forces of selves. From that first movement, thought, came that which is the Prime Mover – life and light – which became the soul force as seen in the fragment of Jesus, to become the Christ and become christed. From that which is the direct line of creation from the God, is then, the First Cause, or First Son, from whence all of you have come. Jesus, the Christ, as representing God, is the First Cause, the First Son – though Jesus as an entity was created at the same time as soul entities here, there, or in all places. However, all souls, all spiritual things and being had not that which is individuality. But He became christed and came first from that Cause and was the Cause, and is the Cause, found in creation of the first, true personality created by God. All beings and all souls came in at the same time, were created at the first as the same, and yet that which was the personality, the individual that became the pattern for all to folow, was created from the First Cause prior to all things. [10-89]
Q Would you explain more about Jesus and the creation of the earth?
S As given before, the Christ was created as the first son. Jesus is the personality that epitomizes that facet that must be understood by mankind. Jesus was not only He who led you in, that first took on form and mind, but had that assignment knowing what was man’s purpose – what the lessons for mankind must be and how man must assume the lessons. Then developed that which was the form of this entity, earth, along with all those qualities and things that are assumed to be part of this plane and that which is called earth. Then after that which is the creation of earth, the man that became Jesus entered in to assume and understand the lesson therein that the creation (made by Him before mankind assumed that which was the personality of man, or the shape of man) that the lessons could be passed and the pattern could be made, a blueprint, to overcome that which is the learning problem or process – a curriculum, a thing, a step by step value. Also assumed the role for those too burdened to overcome, of becoming the door, the bypasses in the understanding of that which is God and God’s promises. And in that which was the crucifixion, then overcoming for you the karmic role or need, that you might find, may find grace in the lessening of the lessons to be learned and the opportunity of mental perceiving, rather than physically perceiving, perceiving that which is the lesson or the lessons. Jesus became that which may save and correct the entity earth and selves because He is th processor, creator of this schoolhouse. [10-90]
Q Were John and Jesus companions during their schooling?
S Correct.
Q This was both at the Essenes and also at Heliopolis, wasn’t it?
S Correct
Q Was this where they had their great love for one another as they grew up together?
S Even before that life, for the lives meshed and intermeshed for many, many lifetimes.
Q But John didn’t understand who Jesus was as a young boy?
S Did understand but did not understand the fullness of Jesus as that which was connected directly to God, as that which was part of God living in the flesh as Yah.
Q Was Jesus referring to seeing His physical body, or His spiritual body?
S The physical-mental body which was the intellect developed and assumed through that which was projecting self into the flesh and being born over and over to understand, to overcome. The spiritual was to come through that which was accomplished through the crucifixion.
John 1:35-39
Again, the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, “Behold the Lamb of God!” And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, “What seek ye?” They said unto him, “Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?” He saith unto them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
S They understood what Lamb meant. For this was a preachment throughout that which was the Hebrew world, that the Lamb that would free the soul was as the sacrificial lamb unspotted from the world, and when proclaimed so by John, Jesus, then, became that which was the salvation that drew the disciples to Him, and that which He gave to them is the message He gives to you now. If you will but come with Him and see where He dwells – is through that which is meditation that you can see Him as a spirit and as the physical being when you reach that point of true meditation. You flirt with the edges. You delve into its outer reaches, but you have not reached the heart – not as a group, not as a people. For here and there the face has been seen, not as an individual interpretation as so often seems to be, which is the messenger rather than the Christ. When you come to that position, that place, you will truly see that which is your Savior face-to-face, and salvation, then, is assured. For you have breached that wall that separates you from your spiritual identity, and then the opportunity has become that which is the door. For you must understand whence you come you no longer remain except to do that duty. For when you reach that spiritual thing, that place where you see and understand the face of the Christ, you touch with the true body of self those outstretched hands. Would that we could make you understand what we say now. It is not a thought; it is not a promise; it is a fact. You cannot understand as yet what it means to have the spiritual body of self (which is the true body) touch that which is the true body of the Christ – even as Jesus the Christ.
Q What is the meaning of “It was the tenth hour”.
S This means there is still opportunity, you see, to make adjustments, choices, but that time is running out. Had not Andrew and his fellow made the proper choice they would have had the opportunity for a while longer to have made the choice. And this is where you stand, where mankind stands. For that which is the axis that you spin upon is proceeding at its pace, its given time (as you understand and live in time) to that which is a conclusion of an era. That, if you have not chosen correctly and chosen the Path, the Light and the Way, that you must begin again. For how often the tales for children have you heard of the witching hour? And in truth there will be that which a witching hour in the form of judgement, or that which is termed the last judgment. And the scale of truth against that which is injustice, intolerance, selfishness will be weighed. It is often said in the Book of the Dead of Egypt, that man’s heart is to be weighed against the feather. This is in conjunction with the understanding, even as they knew it to be, that if you did not perform (perform in that which is as the choice and the living of the choice) that the heart would not pass
Q Did the Book of the Dead stem from Hermes and Uhlted? Was Budge correct in saying that it was thousands and thousands and thousands of years before the modern archaeologists think it was?
S Oh, yes
Q You mention the axis that we spin upon. Would you clarify that please?
S The axis you spin upon is that which is the cosmic forces or the astrological or scientific principles that govern this cosmos. You enter eras, phases or houses (as you would put it), the Zodiacal influences. These in themselves rotate all upon that which is the law that governs these, or that which is cause and effect. This not only is the axis – it is the springboard. But it is also that which caused and gave you (by Jesus) that which is the that which is the evaluations and the valuations, the inspection that will come. And you must begin again for lo those centuries of time.
John 1:40-46
One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, “We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, “Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas,” which is by interpretation, A stone. The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, “Follow me.” Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, “We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” And Nathanael said unto him, “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip saith unto him, “Come and see.”
S Can there be a Nazarene that is of God? Jesus claimed so. He was. He was the man. You, too, may be the man. [
Q The scripture tells us that one of the two disciples was Andrew, was Mary of Bethany the other?
S True. [10-107]
S Nathanael is acceptance, acceptance of God, of the Christ. And once shown that which is the Christ, there is that which is the acceptance. You have here, the four tenets that an individual must have in the form of these four, you see, before you may come to that point that you, too are on the way, truly upon the spiritual path. Andrew is strength. This is the strength to pursue, to fill the way, to fight for that which you believe in, the understandings, the battles of each day. It is the strength of will and purpose. Simon, you see, as always, is that which stands for faith, the rock which you must build upon. And Philip – Philip is hope. For hope is that which buoys up the body, buoys up the intellect, buoys up the spiritual, that they may become one in that which are the four tenets. It is hope that brings all together. Therefore, these are the first objects that you must learn to deal with each day. We would give to you that it is a job that you must concentrate upon each day. It must become the work lessons for you now as individuals, as a group, that you, too, may find the Christ and know his promises are true.
Q What does Andrew signify?
S Andrew is strength.
Q And was the one that was walking with Andrew – did he go back to John?
S He went back to John, proclaimed that John was correct, and then led others back to Jesus the Christ.
John 1:47-51
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, “Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! “Nathanael saith unto him, “Whence knowest thou me?” Jesus answered and said unto him, “Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.” Nathanael answered and saith unto him, “Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.” Jesus answered and said unto him, “Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.” And he saith unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.”
S You have that which is acceptance, acceptance through that which is the proof. This, in turn, goes hand in hand with faith. It is vastly important. For you cannot have faith until you accept. You must accept that which is the Word, that which is all things. For once you realize the spiritual, that which is John as given, that which is beloved, then you have that which is love. And so often there is that which is given, “Love conquers all”, and it’s true. Then learn the four steps that you must have in overcoming the world. They have been given to you in this reading. It is the spiritual law that must be fulfilled before you may go further. And we would give to you this, the message, read over and over each day the lesson as given. Learn to devour that which is the Word, assimilate it throughout the body – not just the mind – but throughout the body ’till you, too, become wrapped in that which is the Word. And we would give you this: we know that which we speak of here. For we have walked and talked among you. We know that which are the temptations and the stumbling blocks. We know that which is salvation. We know that which you may accomplish by experience. And we know that you have that which is the will, the intellect, the spirit, to overcome that which is the earth, and to glorify that which is the Father through the full use of the spiritual that He may rejoice in you, rather than cry out at that which is the false, the falling, the missing, the hurts.
