Prayer – Channel

Beloved Christ, through You and Your promises, we ask that the Lord guide us, protect us, show us His mercy, lift us up that we may be as You would have us be, Your children Your servants that others may find the Way, the Light, and the life. We ask this Father, through the Christ, our salvation.

Peace! I bring thee peace, love, mercy forgiveness, and ask that you give that which is asked of you, your attention, your searching, your questing. We will now give the reading that is sought after.

John: 2:1-10

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, “They have no wine.” Jesus saith unto her, “Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.” His mother saith unto the servants,” Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, “Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast.” And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was, (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, “Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.”

S That, which is the best wine, is the Christ, or the Holy Spirit within self, or the reaching to that which is as the higher elements of self. Cana, you see, is that which represents the thyroid area which gives the power to speech and to the body to put forth the prayer power and the searching word, and that which is the light that comes through the word to others. It is the vehicle for the Word as you would know it. Then that which is Jesus is asked by the holding thought, Mary, within yourselves, to do the cleansing process, the changing process. And regardless of what has come before, the Word changes that which is the spiritual understanding and opportunity within the body (even as yourselves must do). And then that which is the chief guest, or the master of the feast (which is yourself) may be amazed at what occurs within yourself once the cleansing has come through that which is the number as given, six, which is the teaching – but also the cleansing of the six lowest centers within the body that then there can come forth through the seventh the wine, or that which is representational of the blood that has been shed for you. For even as the Lamb was the sacrificial lamb in that which are the Scriptures, and Jesus the sacrificial Lamb of the Testament, so, then, the wine is that which represents the blood as sacrificed for you, that you then may have that which is the remission of sins. Then let yourselves be cleansed. Awaken to that which is the opportunity to claim for yourselves that which is yours by right as given to you by the Creative Force.

Q Why did Jesus say to His Mother, “What is it to Me and to you, woman? My turn has not yet come,” and then proceeded to turn water into wine? From a practical everyday common-sense basis on this earth, it doesn’t make sense.

S He was merely pointing out to His mother that it wasn’t time for Him to do those things, but because there was the desire of self (for remember, they were both self) to do this, it was done, not for Him but for her. And she did not want it for herself but for others. Therefore, you truly have here what is really the greatest example you can have of working God’s love, done as a chain, one through the other, even as this group should act–through each other, for each other, for others. [10-106]

Q Was Mary, the other Mary, later known as Mary of Bethany after the death of her husband?

S That is correct.

Q And so Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus was the one who was married in Cana?

S That is correct. [10-107]

Q Concerning references to the “other Mary”, does it always refer to the same person?

S No. As the necessity in what is being told, Mary, you see, has many meanings. Quite often the “other Mary” means that the use of the term Mary is to that which is a meaning of embroiled, nonrestive–rather than that which is the quiet, the cool, the selah, that is found in the ordinary meaning of Mary. [10-

John 2:11-17

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. And the Jews’ Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; and said unto them that sold doves, “Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.” And his disciples remembered that it was written, “The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.”

S In the cleansing of yourselves, in the cleansing of the temple of your body, through [that] which is meditation and prayer, you arrange for that, as given as Cana (the thyroid) to go down to the solar plexus (here represented by Galilee) to that which is Capernaus – which is as the islands of Langerhans. And from the Islands of Langerhans you journey up to that which would be as Jerusalem, or that which is a place of awareness and coming to that which is true meditation. You must understand that though you have been taught in meditation, you raise from the lowest centers to the highest centers. This is only representational of a stage of thought, as we have given now, for once you have studied and become adroit at that which is meditation. To become adept, though, you must then go to that which is the voice of meditation – the thyroid – through those areas as given. Thence you will work from there on that which is the thymus. For the thymus, the seat of love, is then a key-board that strikes the proper note – not the key of C or A (which is choice) but that which revibrates through the system bringing the harmony in that which is the endocrine system which is that that does feed the soul. For harmony is that of God’s force of life.

Q Is there a proper note for all mankind or does it differ from person to person?

S Both. ` [10-131]

Q Please clarify the area mentioned as the islands of Langerhans in the relationship to the body?

S Adrenals will suffice.

John 2:18-22

Then answered the Jews and said unto him, “What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?” Jesus answered and said unto them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Then said the Jews, “Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?” But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

S Remember, here the Jews represent that which is established religious thought. Religious thought does not necessarily mean that it understands religion. It certainly here represents that within yourselves that do not truly believe in the spiritual, or the spiritual quality that you possess. True, each and every one of you believes in a spiritual thing, a spiritual God, a Christ spirit, but it has not dawned upon you fully that you possess a Christ, that you truly possess a spirit of your own. Would that we could open your eyes, your ears, that you could understand fully. But this is your own travail and your own choice.

Q How does the Word relate to the Big Thought that God had at the beginning?

S From the Big Thought came the Word. In the Big Thought was the Word, and of the Big Thought is the Word. If you cannot understand time, we can’t it further, except the Thought and the Word essentially were one.

Q This driving the money changer out of the temple seems to have occurred much earlier, as recorded in the gospel of John than in the synoptic gospels. Were there two incidents, or is this recorded this way because it is strictly the spiritual message?

S You have it! It’s the spiritual message. However, Jesus manifested righteous wrath many times in the temple. This is but one time. That which has be deleted from the gospels, or the synoptic gospels. Even more exciting to the human mind would be as Jesus rose in the temple, in the presence of the priests, and chastised them, and in fact, dared them to have Him struck down by God. And in fact, put out all the lights within the temple by word and justified same by saying that the Father’s house was darkened by that which man had wrought and would only be lighted by the spiritual laws. And then did so – much to the chagrin of the priests, much to the delight and awe of those gathered in the temple.

John 2:23-25

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

S This was the understanding that Jesus as an entity had abuilded through the many occupations in life and the occupancy of many individual personalities through those lifetimes – building to that of Jesus of Nazareth. Also endowed with that which was perfect vision, knew every thought even to the multitude of thoughts, as individual thoughts, knowing all men, yes, all women’s and all children’s thoughts, knowing the values and the reasons why, and also needed not man as follower, servant, or even friend. For, you see, Jesus as an individual, and Jesus the Christed, had in common that which was the knowledge and presence of God. You, too, can have the presence and knowledge of God, and the knowledge of the presence of God, if you would but trust, if you would accept those four objects of learning as given in the last reading and make them one with your daily routine. How little you need to awaken that which is the true spiritual sight, hearing, understanding. Be patient with yourselves as we have learned patience for you.

Q Did Jesus have any other occupation besides the carpentry?

S Oh, yes. He had the occupation of being the voice and the channel of God – even as you can have this occupation. And if you are speaking of the same vein as carpenter, Jesus was as accepted head, not only of carpenters, but of several religious groups, received the total backing, you see, (how would you put it?) As guest leader of the Essenes. Therefore, didn’t delve into those mundane things as you might think of as an occupation today, or even then, of dollars and cents, of bookkeeping, et cetera, as of today.
