Matthew 25:1-2

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

S Make self nondivided. Look to that which is the spiritual or that which is the taking of ten, rather than that which is the division of same. Take thy lamps and look and seek thy God. 

Q Do the five foolish virgins refer to the five gross physical senses and the five wise virgins to five higher, refined, nonphysical senses?

S Even as there is that which is a foil, always, between the spiritual world and the material world, so the five foolish represent that which is as the foolishness of man using only that which is the refinement in their way of that which are as the five senses. Whereas the refinement of the five spiritual senses are as those which are as the wise virgins, and also, though, represent that which is as the course of mankind that turns to that which is the spiritual nature of their own beings, too. And now we give this thought: Blessed are they that realize the Way, the Truth, and the Light. Behold the seraphim that raiseth His throne above all! For He is ever present. He is the Lord thy God. There is none but Him. Be ye aware of the Light, the Truth, and the Way.

 Matthew 25:3-6

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”

S You have that which is the meeting of God, or the Christ Force, by those that have prepared themselves. That even at the time of rest they have held that which is the benediction, the blessing as is given in the oil, and wasted not the blessing, the benediction of life, as the foolish have, who burn it in the night when it is not to be used, or in that hour of sleep. These are the wastrels, those that use not wisdom to that which is the level of their knowledge.

Q Do the lamps symbolize spiritual centers?

S They symbolize that which are as the spiritual centers, and that which is the feeding of same in the blessing of that which is of God and the use therein by that which is prayer and especially that of meditation.

Matthew 25:7–9

Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, “Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out”. But the wise answered, saying, “Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves.”

S Here you have, also, the addition now of that which is as the bodily or the body and the bodily functions calling forth to that which is as the spiritual nature, calling for it to be raised up to that which is equal, which it cannot therefore, is sent away by that of the spiritual nature. Also is symbolmatic here of that which is mankind divided into that which has prepared itself and those who have not prepared themselves, yet would climb in, even as the thief, in that way that is not earned or not approved.

Matthew 25:10-13

“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready

went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying,’ Lord, Lord, open to us’. But he answered and said, ‘Verily I say unto you, I know you not.’ Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

S Here you have the marriage, that of the meeting of the God without and the God within, in that which is the Holy of Holies within self, where ye may meet that which is as thy living God, where the force of the Lord feedeth that which has been imprisoned and releases same to its level, where none can go except those who have met the law of that which is as God.

Matthew 25:14–18

For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same and made them other five talents. And likewise, he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth and hid his lord’s money.

S This is as that which is the opening within self. For those as talents are even as talents or abilities, or that which is given, or the opportunity of same. And that which has. five talents which are, or is the overcoming of that which are as the five senses themselves, conducts that, then, to the ten, or finds that which is the linking up (no more foil), where the five senses of this plane link with the five senses of the spiritual nature that is with you at this time, making that which is the perfection, or the God Force present, which is ten.

Then you have that which is the one who, though not equipped (or), has not come in at this time to do more. There is given two, and its counter is two, bringing four, which is the overcoming of that of this plane, or the four lower stages of same, as represented as the material of this world. Then there is the one who is given equally, you see. For one is the greater number. And yet the entity uses not that which is given but buries it within self and goes about his own way – spending that, destroying this, using, ever taking, but not giving or multiplying or expanding upon the one. For the one would have been eleven, the master number.

Q Does this also suggest that different life forms have different numbers of senses?

S This is correct, as given before. Mankind, or that which is the spirit within mankind in that which are the stages beyond this plane, is capable of that which are one hundred ten senses. And those lower organisms, or even as animal spirits, are capable of extended abilities in that which is the realm of senses. And even that of the plant kingdom, and even that of the mineral kingdom has its senses. For all are aware.

Q Would the mineral kingdom have the one sense?

S Correct.

Matthew 25:19-21

After a long time, the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, “Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.” His lord said unto him, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”

S The joy of the Lord is one with the Lord, even as the Lord is the Lord of the animal kingdom, the vegetable kingdom, the mineral kingdom and all that is, seen and unseen. So, the Lord rewardeth and gives the opportunity for the harmony, the symphony, that which is the balance and the love of all things, to be as He has given.

Matthew 25:22–23

He also that had received two talents came and said, “Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.” His Lord said unto him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

S Once again, as ye are on the level ye are on, and ye overcome same, ye have entered into the joy of the Lord. Regardless of the conditions in the material that ye have come in, in that which is the use of the opportunity as correct, so ye shall be rewarded by the Lord, as given.

Q What is the “Joy of the Lord’ as spoken of a lot in Matthew?

S Joy of the Lord is the communion between self and thy God. When it occurs first, that which is the soul force understands it, and leaps for joy. This leap is felt within the body of an individual that is attuned. lt is not that which is the frenzy that is found among certain religions, or those who think they are touched by God. lt is pure, wondrous, harmonious. lt is joy. [10-45, 5-7–78]

Matthew 25:24-29

Then he which had received the one talent came and said, “Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine”. His lord answered and said unto him, “Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.”

S For those who reach that stage where there is a total overcoming, even as given of that which is this level, or that which are the five senses, and the balance between that which are the spiritual senses and the material senses, there will come, then, that which is the lordship over all things, and that which is the opportunity to be as that which would raise up thy brothers, thy sisters, through thy actions, through thy knowledge, even in a manner as He, Jesus the Christ, so did. For ye are those who would pull up and save those who are cast out into the outer darkness the darkness being that which is away from that which is the body of God, as the joy is known, though not out of God but out of the knowledge of His presence.

Matthew 25:30-31

And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

S That glory is the awakening within selves, and the reaching to and the striving for the presence of Him who is indeed the Prince of Love and Redemption. Therefore, if ye would be as that which is as a block in that which is the temple of God, be ye then he who is aware and uses the opportunity and the abilities, as best self can, to open up that which is the spiritual center of self to the awakening.

Q I understand the return of Christ to this planet actually meant the flowering of the Christ spirit within individuals rather than Jesus Christ returning physically. Is this concept incorrect?

S Incorrect. It is the flowering, of course, yes, but it is that He will come, even as He left.

Q What restrained the return of Jesus during the Middle Ages when the whole of western civilization seemed to be centered on Him?

S Aha, in their concept of the time they were settled upon Him, and Christ could not return, you see, until each and every entity that has been in the earth has had contact with the understanding of Jesus the Christ, with the God movement therein. There were many, many living at that time, that had not been exposed to the teachings or to the understanding of the Christ, or Jesus the Christ as Son of Man. [10–17, 6-22–75]

Q In the last reading, the Source indicated the reason Christ hadn’t come during the Middle Ages . . . Now that we are expecting the return of the Christ anytime, does this mean that all the souls that are now on earth have been exposed to His teachings?

S All the souls that are, and that will come in, now have been exposed to that which is the understanding of the Christ Force, and God.

Q What are the things that Jesus the Christ will do when He returns?

S He will return in that which is His glory, that which is the work of God. The dead will walk. The sightless will see. Those who hear not, will hear. Those who speak not, will speak. There will again come that which is the reign of love and peace for those who will accept. The miracles that were shall be again, or that which you would term as miracles. And even greater miracles will be done by Him and those who follow Him. There will be light in the darkness. There will be understanding for all ages.

Q Will life on earth be similar to the present as far as our living and…?

S Oh, yes. Only to the degree that those who believe will change it. [10-18, 7-26-75]

Q Please describe in detail the events of the Second Coming.

S That, which is the Second Coming, is two phases. First, that which is the resurrection of the bodies of each and every individual by the resurrecting of the mind. Even as you pray, even as you meditate, even as you act, so the body –in turn – physical, mental, and spiritual, is affected and is resurrected cell by cell, atom by atom. So, it is done whether you know it or not. Cell by cell, atom by atom, ye rearrange your life by the deeds, the thoughts, the prayers, the meditation. This, then, is the first step. 

When those who have accomplished have made a platform here and among the rest of the people, then will come that which is the Second Coming or the presence of the Lamb again, even as He left: in body, in soul, in spirit. He will come in all majesty, even as given in the Scriptures – the Word, in a majesty unmatched by anything less than that which was creation itself; in a manner to be seen by all. The first step, being that night will be banished for a period of three days by that which is the radiance of the Son of Man in the sky. More radiant than the sun that you have now. 

Then on the third day, or at the end of that which is the third period of twenty–four hours, will come the clouding of the skies- universal – to be seen by all sides of the globe, all men. The Son of Man in glory – a glory that will outshine the celestial bodies, not in that which is blinding, but in a rainbow of colors unmatched. For then will the eyes of man see colors that it has not, or has been prohibited from seeing, in its development. Some will say it is an aurora. Others will say it is a comet. Some will say it is that which is the end of the earth, the world, and, in truth, it shall be. For it will be the end of the earth as man will know it, in that which are the upheavals, the destructions caused by man to man, to the earth by man, and earth to man. 

There will be the elimination of those who are not fit to be left to be builded upon for that which is the resurrection of a people. Then the Master of Life, Prince of Love, will come forth to walk with His brothers, His sisters, those who will be the root, the start for mankind to blossom again. For that period as given, a thousand years, will God reign in the form of He Jesus the Christ, Prince of Love.

Q Will the return of the Christ be simultaneous to all when it happens?

S Oh, yes. For even the spirits of the departed, the entities that have passed over, will know, will see. Oh, they will gather around this globe even from afar, to know that which is the coming of God within the earth again. [10–22, 4-18-76]

S …For He shall come in the which is the Son, Jesus the Christ, in that day that He will return as the Prince of redemption. [10-18, 7–26-75]

Q How will He redeem?

S Through the soul level He will redeem. By waking anew that which is the God Force. By bringing forth within selves the understanding, the power, the love of God, which is you. What is the name of God? You.

Q What affirmations or prayers could be used to help this group and those outside this group to prepare for the Second Coming?

S OH GOD, FILL MY CUP SO THAT IT MAY RUN OVER, THAT MY NEIGHBOR MAY BE FILLED, SO HIS MAY RUN OVER, AND HIS NEIGHBORS, FOR ALL MANKIND, EVEN AS CHRIST JESUS. [10-22, 4-18-76]

Matthew 25:32-34

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”

 S The goats being those who are selfish, self-directed, and of this world; the sheep being even as that which is represented by the Great Shepherd, or He who is the Lamb, who became unspotted, who gave of Himself as sacrifice, even as those who are the sheep who would follow that which is the Good Shepherd and give of themselves in His way, His manner.

Matthew 25:35-36

For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: 1 was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

S Ye have here the soul of each individual as created and trapped within that which is the physical realm, the physical bodies, the physical go–round. Ye have that which is the God Force, or the Christ within, that lies within self, given that which is the feeding, that which is as the drink, by opening self up in prayer and in meditation and in good deeds, even as He has directed you to do.

Matthew 25:37.40

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, “Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?” And the King shall answer and say unto them, “Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

S Remember, ye are the least of thine own brethren. And those that you serve are the least also. And as ye have done, even as the example here is, being unaware of that which is the reward but doing the service for the deed, for the individual, yes, and even for self in that which is meditation and prayer. This is that which is the importance of that which is being given here nonawareness, but doing because it is allowing that which is the force of God to work through selves.

Matthew 25:41-44

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not”. Then shall they also answer him, saying, “Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?”

S These are those who could see only themselves, their ways, their selfishness – no matter how outwardly Christian, Godlike, what have you. These are those who operate not in the sense or the sight of God, who communicate not with their souls, nor open themselves up, that God may come within to feed that which is the soul force. These are those that shall be condemned.

Q Does this condemnation refer to a longer period, working in the earth with many lives?

S These are those who would condemn themselves into that which is the slavery again of that of the material plane, to reverse that which is their trend, that they, too, may at one time or again either make the choice of returning to the Father in knowledge and awareness, or in that state of no knowledge and only the awareness of being part of that which is the Maker, the Creator, God.

Q How would angels be interpreted in the phrase ‘the devil and his angels“?

S Remembering that the devil, or Satan, is that which is the intellect; and messengers, or heavenly messengers, are that which are angels. Do not believe that even a personification of that which is Satan, or the devil has angels. No. It is an explanation, and it is the hope for those who fall or are condemned of their own doing. Regardless of the situation, the angels are there to intercede, to plead thy cause at the footstool of that which is mercy itself, the ever living, loving God. For though they fall and though they faint, be they even Satan, God‘s love and mercy is shown in that which are as the angels, the guardian angels, and the hosts that would be as that which would help the lost to repent.

Q You referred to the necessity for the understanding that we are part of the whole, in other words. Is the prayer concept that was developed by the channel and which has been modified by all of us, or used by all of us, all right, or could you give us a better way of giving this prayer for greater understanding?

S It is acceptable as it is, and yet we would also give this at this time:

BE YE PRESENT, OH LORD, THAT A CIRCLE OF SELF IS ESTABLISHED. NO PERSONALITY BUT THINE, NOBODY BUT THINE, NO AWARENESS BUT THINE. THY ACTION, OH LORD, IS AT THE PLATFORM.

Matthew 25:45-46

Then shall he answer them, saying, “Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”

S For even as those who turn their backs upon the opportunity, upon the Lord, so do it to that which is the Christ, to Him who became christed, and suffer Him the more. For though He would come to them, they give naught. For He must be asked, in truth, in depth – and here lies the rub. For many would ask, but not in depth, and only of necessity of the time, as we have so often seen. And yet, He is ever ready and will send a Redeemer for those who fall again.

Q Does that mean someone similar to the Christ would be sent again?

S The Christ is ever present with all, even those who fall. There would be again a man who would come, even as the form of Jesus of Nazareth, who became christed, to lift up again the people. For that which is the greatest has happened, and that which is the way has been opened by Jesus in that which was His coming. It only remains for an aspect, or another, to fulfill at a lower level and lead those back to that which is accomplished by Him of Nazareth – Love.
