Genesis 1: Decoded: Spiritual Insights into CreationThis document is a detailed analysis of Genesis 1 from the Bible, focusing on its spiritual insights into creation and metaphysical interpretations. It explores the creation story, delving into themes such as divine guidance, the nature of existence, and the spiritual significance of creation events. The material emphasizes deeper symbolic meanings and spiritual lessons derived from this biblical chapter.

Originally Matthew was published as a book and an introduction to RAM was placed at the beginning of the book.

We have chosen to place this Introduction at the beginning of the first chapter of each of the books of the Bible.

INTRODUCTION TO RAM

A motto for the group’s work was given by the Source as that which was embodied in the prayer that Jesus said as He walked the hills of Galilee, ”Others first, Father, others first.‘ This prayer is frequently given throughout the subsequent readings as a reminder of the true purpose of the work.

The group was given its name, and the meaning, as follows: ‘RAM, or RAM, is that which will be the working name for the group. That which is RAM is that which guides from the East. This is the word, the name of GOD. For you, or this group, better to use that which is RAM-RAM in the Hebrew tongue is the connotation or the meaning, to extol, to raise to the highest, even to an extent rejoice in the raising of same.

It was later stated, ”It is not the Source of these readings, but the results of these readings that are RAM, for it is the exultation of God that which will  raise up a people that will once again worship in cleanliness and love.”

WORDS OF ADVICE AND WARNING REGARDING THIS MATERIAL

The Source gave these words of advice, ‘Even material such as we give you must be weighed and evaluated within each and every individual as to the needs and processes that are necessary for the individual. For if ye are fed this and ye are not of this level, or ready for this level, then this is not the teacher and ye would be led astray.

For many are there who, in honesty and in truth, would hear these words, even as they heard the words of the Prince of Love, Jesus the Christ, who could not receive them, and used and fell back upon that which was correct for them, their religion of the time, even as now. And it was not sinful, nor wrong, nor misdoing upon their part, nor will it be upon the parts of those who cannot accept, cannot believe that which comes through this channel, through this group-for each has his place, his time, and his abilities. And again, “If what is given here does not meet your ideal, it must be rejected.

Only if it gives to you the fruits of the spirit meeting your ideal are these readings, this Source, to be of influence or use to self. See?”

BUT . . . This was also given, “And when the entity sees the fruits-and where the fruits are good, let it be known that it is from the Source of Life Itself.”

Behold! The day of the Lord is at hand and ye shall carry His word across the land to those who would seek and know His way, His truth, His love.”

Ram Reading 10-132

Prayer – Channel

Our God, we seek to serve You, not only as servants but as Your children and we ask that Your love manifest itself through us at this time that we may be about Your business and that we may secure the platform for the coming of our Brother, our Master, and that we, oh Lord, may live as You would have us live, be as You would have us be, living in that which is “others first, Father, others first.”

Behold the Paten. Behold the Chalice. Behold the Lamb. Ye that have , behold the Lord. If you would be as that which is the symbol of God, have faith and live in Him that is the Light, the Way, and the Truth. We have before you now that which is the word, the extension of the word, the door, the key, through that which is as Peter the rock. We give you greetings, then, from the Lord of the Way.

Preliminary Questions:

Q Is there a special direction that this group should take at this time? Any special information that we should be studying?

S Prepare yourself for that which is Genesis and take that which is known as the scripture or that which is the Old Testament step-by-step as it is presented in the order, not of time, for it is not in regulation of time (but that in itself is a sign that time is not the important thing), but by section by section, book by book, as you, and chapter by chapter, as you have approached or in the approach you have used for that which is known as the New Testament for the new promise. (10-130)

Q In the introduction to the Genesis volume of the Anchor Bible, 1964, the author quotes Deuteronomy 31:9 which states, “Moses wrote down this Torah.” The author writes, “This particular statement points either to the portions of Deuteronomy that precede as most moderns assume, or to the poetic sections which follow, as some scholars believe. In neither event could the Pentateuch as a whole be at issue, yet it is this one ambiguous reference more than anything else that eventually gave rise to the Mosaic authorship of the entire Pentateuch.” Is the author correct?

S First, remember, that which is more correctly called the Torah, the first five books of the Scriptures or the Old Covenant, was written in that which was not Hebraic but Aramaic. Though they be brother or sister tongues and writings, there are errors in translation from those who came after. That which is the correct interpretation would not place all written by Moses, but through the hand and power of Moses. Those which are as the following books, or the poetic books were influenced and to a degree or in some cases written by Moses.

Q We were told that Moses had the help of several others in writing the first five books of the Old Testament, including one female, namely Miriam. Did Joshua and Aaron also help in the writing?

S Aaron. Joshua had his things to do, but it was Aaron.

Q Were there any others who helped?

S There were many who helped in small ways – in fact, dozens. But those three were the main authors, or collectors rather, or receivers of that which are as the scriptures.

Q Did this include then bringing forth the akashic records for writing the book of Genesis?

S Yes, through the one who was Moses rather than the others.

Q Did Aaron assist or help in any way, Moses, in the rituals that occurred on the mountain?

S Aaron was the one who did the rituals that manifested through Moses.

Q Including the water ritual from the, I presume about, seven cups running from one to the other and then back down the other way as being pivoted?

S Yes.

Q We’ve heard different reasons why Moses wasn’t allowed to lead the children of Israel into the land of Canaan. Why wasn’t he allowed to do so?

S Moses prevented Moses. For Moses had that duty. And as you have heard, the plowman cannot turn back. Moses did, breaking then his word, falling short in his belief, as expected of him. Therefore, could not enter that which was the promised land.

Q Were Moses, Aaron, and Miriam present with Adam; as Cain, Abel and Seth?

S Correct.

Q Respectively?

S Correct.

Q And was it the life as Cain that prevented Moses from entering the promised land?

S You have it.

Q And also, that was the reason that he had to speak and work through Aaron?

S That’s correct. (10-106)

Q What is meant by “through the hand and power of Moses”?

S The influence of Moses through that which is the spiritual leaning not only that which was left in notation form, but that which is influenced directly as a spirit to another spirit or from that which is the Mosaic example or the leaning in others or the influence directly as a soul force upon others, especially at that time some 250 years, as you would see it, before the coming of the Christ within this world or in that time in Alexandria where there was the compiling, you see, of that which you would call the Old Testament or the Scriptures into, as given at that time, 45 books versus that which you presently use as 39 books, this done under the hand or guidance or influence of Moses as the intellectual influence upon others and the spiritual influence from other times and places. (10-133)

Q In subsequent parts of the introduction the author writes, “In time the critics were able to draw a sharp line between Deuteronomy “D” on the one hand and the four preceding books or the Tetrateuch on the other. Within the Tetrateuch a cleavage soon became apparent between the so-called priestly source, “P,” and the outright narrative material. And the narratives, in truth, eventually yielded two main strands which came to be designated as “J,” Yahwist, and “E,” Elohist.” Was Moses the author or principal source for the “J,” Yahwist or the “E,” Elohist narrative?

S Moses was that which was the author, true, but remember you have, then, the implication or the understanding of that which is the influence upon the other books, even the historical books of the Old Covenant by the lives or shadow lives of Moses. Therefore, Moses had much to do with the greater amount or influence of the writings. You do have that which are the priestly writings which are less of Moses than the authors or those who would have Moses writing all.

Q What are the shadow lives of Moses?

S Influential lives where the entity came and went, not as a being as you would see them in the flesh as born of the flesh but contrived of the flesh or of the mind of God, to influence, then to come as almost as humanist or humanistic messenger to the peoples or those in need.

Q By shadow lives, then, these were not spiritual lives or?

S Not born of the flesh nor departing through the flesh but materialized and dematerialized as to the need or necessity of the time.

Q Those wouldn’t be aspects then, either?

S No.

Q Did they take place at the same time as the life of Moses?

S No. (10-133)

Q Did the creation story contained in Genesis 1:1 through 2:4 originate with Amelius, that is Adam, in Lemuria?

S This is correct.

Q And did the Israelites take knowledge of the creation story with them into captivity in Egypt or did they learn it in Egypt?

S It was that which they took with them; however, it was explained and built upon in the Egyptian captivity or the Egyptian sojourn.

Q Was the division of the creation story into seven days to relate to a seven day week accomplished during the sojourn in Egypt or subsequently?

S It was prior. It was built on that which is the body of man or that which are the seven centers applied, then, to the understanding of the general public by that which is the use of the seven days or the seven-day calendar or that which is found in the calendar.

Q So they, then, had the seven-day calendar prior to captivity in Egypt?

S This is correct, even as they had their language from prior times before going into those later times.

Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

S You have, then, God and nothing. You have God, then, that became moving. You have God, then, that saw or knew (or how can you explain God’s sight?). God knew then the impulse to create and so then God created.

Q It would seem to me likely that God would have created a number of things prior to earth. Would spirit and matter be a better description than heaven and earth or something else?

S Heaven at this time is the awareness of God of Himself, and that which must be created beyond God or as an extension of God into that which is the domain that man must find himself and his way as that which is outside of heaven.

Q Please explain “the face of the deep.”

S The face of the deep is that which is represented or represents that which is the greatness of God, the extension of God, which are all things conceived and not conceived by mankind that at that time God knew and had not put into its place or, as you would have it, created as to its forms, its depth, masses, et cetera.

Q Please explain “the face of the waters.”

S The face of the waters, then, is that which is the first or primary source of that which is God’s creation, the spiritual realm.

Genesis 1:3-5

And God said, “Let there be light:” and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

S This is as God began to create then and make ready for man, as given, that there would be the essential realm for the worship of God or His first creation or extension of Himself as to that which is the angelic way or the angelic host as set apart from that which is the way that mankind is to proceed as through that which is the darkness towards the light, that they, too, might experience the full breadth of creation, that they, too, may create.

Q And the creation of light – this was an exercise in the will of God. What did God divide the light from darkness with?

S Thought, as you would see thought in the form of lightning, but so vast, so great that human or animal kind could not suffer [tolerate] its presence.

Genesis 1:6-8

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

S This, then, is the creation of God as a form or a discernible place or that which is the center of all things or that which would be true light, true life, from that which knows not itself to that which knows itself. And this, then, is the separation that humans have within themselves. Where they find the spiritual self, they find that bit of heaven within themselves and as they approach, then, that which is the throne of God within themselves, they are able to comprehend that which is the division between the light and the darkness or heaven and the rest of God’s creation, separating, then, the spiritual from the more dense which is the physical or mental-physical being.

Q Were the Ida and Pingala part of God’s original creation or were they created by souls existing below the firmament of chapter one, verse six?

S They were created by those who were aides or helpers. (10-133)

Q In Charles Fillmore’s book The Mysteries of Genesis he likens the firmament to faith. How does this fit?

S Is not faith, light and light, faith? For God is the epitome of faith and light.

Q Is this firmament which divides the water from the waters, the mind – that is the mind of God?

S This is the awareness, the awareness of God of Himself and creation as opposed to the unawareness of that which lies beyond in the testing or the training ground that God had created. For God knew all, created all, and understood all at one great thought.

Q What is the difference between the waters above the firmament and the waters below the firmament?

S The spiritual ground that surrounds God, or true heaven, where the angelic host is perpetually in adoration of God the Creator, Father-Mother of all things; where that which lies below is the spiritual to be used by the lesser beings in their search and finding of that which is true heaven. It is that which gives life and purpose and future to that which is as God’s creation to be raised up into the position of being gods.

Q You said God had a thought. Is not God thought?

S God, to be God, had to think and, therefore, the first thought was God.

Q The waters below, then, would be those individualized bits of spirit which would be as the soul in man or spirit in other entities. Right?

S Absolutely.

Q And would the division there, then, that separates those be the soul mind or the mind of each individualized bit of spirit?

S Even though they are extended from that which is the Creator, they are beyond that which is as the creative mind of heaven. Correct.

Genesis 1:9-10

And God said, “Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear:” and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas: and God saw that it was good.

S To give home, to give a firmness, or as you would term a base of operation for souls, God created those places that souls could abide and abound within. Therefore, earth was created and then the separation (even as to the earth thought or physical thought or being) from that which is the spiritual body or that here as seen as the waters or the seas as God created, being, then, also that which is of the spirit or symbolizing that which is man’s spiritual accomplishment in the plane of the earth.

Genesis 1:11-13

And God said,”Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:” and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.

S This is putting or manifesting life forms as God knew was necessary for the advancement of His children in their learning process.

Genesis 1:14-19

And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth:” and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

S For the development of His children God then gave those signs or those things that He knew that mankind must accomplish through, which you would term as the zodiac, which you would term as the influences of same, to be as a basic procedure through which mankind would feel the influences or those houses of learning and those things that must be accomplished to before mankind could extract itself from that which is the earth plane and those other places within the universe or the cosmos that the souls could go forth and learn the more and accomplish the more, which in itself is worship of God.

Genesis 1:20-23

And God said, “Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.” And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

S Here not only are vehicles for those first travelers to learn through and from; also, though, here are those symbols of the mind and the thoughts of the mind as seen as in that which are the birds that fill the skies and the fish, or whales, that fill the seas, each being as in their own meaning of thought or a spiritual thing. For air and water are of the spirit and, therefore, those soul forces must maneuver, must move to find that, then, which is their place within this earth plane.

Q Is fire of the spirit?

S Fire is neither of the spirit nor of the mind. It is as of itself, for it is the cleansing agent and those who are influenced by that sign are those who are learning the spiritual, mental, and physical cleansing the more.

Q And the birds flying in the earth, symbolizing thoughts – this really refers to or symbolizes on the fifth day, creation of the rational mind and the fifth center counting downward or the third center counting upward. Is that correct?

S That is correct.

Genesis 1:24-25

And God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind:” and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

S Now God has created those vehicles that will lure or pull those soul forces into existence within that which is rooted to the domination of the physical plane rather than that which is of the mental and spiritual planes, as already given. For the spirit dominated those other two sources or planes within this plane, leaving then the dominant force to be the home of mankind in its search within this plane or its influence by this plane.

Q God looked and saw that all was good. Should we not look and see that it is good?

S It is correct to see it as good. How many times do you lament your destiny or that which is destiny has taken you into this world and found it not so good, realizing in your heart now that even though you have returned to that which is less than perfect as you see it, less than perfect around you, less than perfect for your soul, it is as a gift. Remember, even as the Prince of Love came upon His mission, so you have entered into this plane, time and time again, to complete your mission which is follow His way, His path, that you, too, may be as that which worships God, the Creative Force, or Love in the proper fashion and way. Crude as you are in your abilities at this time, you are much improved over those soul forces that became dominated by this earth plane.

Q Do these two verses, 24 and 25, refer to the creation of astral man and animals, in the sixth or second chakra?

S This is correct.

Q And should the sixth day really end at the end of verse 25

S This is correct.

Genesis 1:26-28

And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have domination over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

S We would make this clear that that which became man, that which became souls of awareness at that time, had already been created, even in that area as seen below heaven. They then became aware as God then gave them awareness and gave them the ability to master their minds, their thoughts, their destiny, as mankind was also given that which is the premier power over that which man could do within this plane, for self and for others, though dominance is the right of God at all times. This is the time, then, the Holy Spirit began to move, for the Holy Spirit (was) is that which is the director of mankind’s life forces and path. For God extended Himself as to that which would go beyond Himself in heaven even to that which were the depth beyond that which is the royal or the great bodyguard of worshipers or angels and those who were the messengers.

Q And these verses, 26 through 28, really refer then to the creation of physical man in the image of astral man. Is that correct?

S This is correct.

Q On the seventh day before resting?

S This is correct.

Q It says He created them male and female. So why did He have to take Adam’s rib and make a woman?

S For male and female are as God’s creation in all things and must be separated, then, to find that which you would call the sexes. In that which we will get to as to that which is the creation of the separate female will come at that time as apropos.

Q How far along was the earth in its development when the souls decided to interfere with what God had intended for His creation?

S You would find that in stages through many of those eras that you would call them to be Mesozoic, as example of many coming in at that time, for the changes were taking place within the framework of the earth as to life forms that could be occupied or felt by those wandering souls.

Q Was there anything on the land or was it all in the water?

S It began in the water, but it began also, traveled through that which we find the crystalline forms, especially, and the silicon forms within that which are landforms, as you would call them to be. But mostly among that more pliable liquid which is closer to the spiritual nature that they had come from.

Q Then this would precede those animals such as the dinosaur, those things such as the insects, et cetera, and so forth?

S Yes, but do not feel that as soon as the dinosaurs, insects, one-celled animals that you find in the seas or the waters were dominated or used by those soul forces coming in. They were here for a long time before the animals of one kind and another, or plants, intrigued the soul forces to experience same.

Q Is this what Paramhansa Yogananda was referring to in, I believe it was his Autobiography of a Yogi, of remembering when he was a diamond?

S This is correct and as one feels or experiences the greater growth of the spiritual, which is the remembrance, those high forms of all kinds such as the crystalline form or that which would be considered the diamond are often found to be as a great rallying point or strengthening point in the search or development or further gains.

Genesis 1:29-30

And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat:” and it was so.

S This is the physical-mental sustenance given by God that the spirit may be fed in its learning search for those other realms that it had not experienced before. This is also to establish the first law of God’s creation which [is] all things are good. Man has forgotten this kind. For in that kind of search, man was tempted to begin to worship that which were feelings that were not relevant and reverent towards the spiritual being and became more and more entwined with that which were the mental and physical aspects of the search.

Q Verse 29 suggests that man started out being a fruitarian, eating only fruit and seeds and that the animals were vegetarians. Is this correct?

S To a greater degree; however, mankind or soul forces in their urge to experience moved into areas and created disharmony, disorder, creating that which you would term as the carnivore or that which fed upon the life force in the animal object rather than that which was the vegetable object as first intended by the forces of creation.

Q Then this was accompanied by a fall in consciousness, was it not?

S This is correct; as anticipated by God, who had already created that which is the light or the soul force of the One to become the Lamb or the Way, the Truth, and the escape from this plane.

Genesis 1:31

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and morning were the sixth day.

S This, then, is the beginning of that which God would use as the withdrawal of God the Father-Mother, which is as the Creative Force pulling away then from the spiritual self or the spiritual guidance factor or that which relegates all movement within God’s plan, that which is the Holy Spirit.

Q Was the change made in the location of ending the sixth day from the end of verse 25 to verse 31 when the change was made to have a single Sabbath day every week?

S This is correct.

Q Was it because prior to that time the people had fallen so much in consciousness that they no longer meditated and remembered God every day, so that in order for people to be reminded regularly, at least one day in seven, one day was consecrated as the Sabbath and it was made into a commandment by Moses?

S This is the purge of the mind or the intellect.

Q Did Moses initiate the Sabbath day observance, or was it established earlier by Melchizedek or someone else?

S It was established among other peoples of other places by Melchizedek, (by then) or observed by Melchizedek, and then established by Moses among family, friends, and tribes.

S No. (10-133)
