Prayer – Channel

Oh, wonderful Lord, Father-Mother God, hear our prayers, hear our asking; for we seek to see and know Thy face, to be as Your messengers, as Your guides, that others may find Thy love, Thy peace and the awakening of the Christ within.

S Behold the Lamb! Behold that which is the image that each must assume in the passage through that which are the entrances within this plane. All must find the patience. All must realize that progress is only made through the slow, steady, forward movement of the spiritual within each individual. For even in (as) a collective such as this, it is each individual in the seeking, in the patience, learning the faith that overcomes that which is the resistance of this plane and of selves. We would give this for the understanding that those who live in arrogance, that those who live in force, bring that which is the judgment or the tragedy upon selves; that there is a choice within all lives how one proceeds and how one lives. Therefore, judge not others but realize in self that each must seek the spiritual way, each must become that which is humble even as the Lamb was humble. That does not mean to be walked upon but to be humble in the realization that all that is achieved through the individual is through the spiritual nature, through God, in short, and not selves; that it is love and mercy that shows itself within the life even as you understand these words.

Q Would you please explain a little further about “Behold, that which is the image that each must assume in the passage through that which are the entrances within this plane”?

S There are passages that each entity is equipped or by selection or influence use within this plane. You may see them as tunnels through that which are the everyday forces of mankind or opportunities that come your way. The difference between that of entrance and passage is that entrance is to the broad plane to the entire level for the selection of many things or many purposes. Entrance is that which is narrow, that with limited purpose, sometimes to the positive and sometimes more to that which would be the negative. The example is John the Baptist entered in the narrow or the tunnel effect, you see, to achieve a certain purpose; whereas most entities come into that which is the broad level or entrance into a plane to select many lessons, to experience many opportunities. An entity may come in as an entrance and exit as a tunnel effect, you see, by selecting one certain area or even certain purpose to achieve to. This may be good (as you would see it) or bad (as you would see it). We would give the instance of the man who was called Hitler as one who became tunnel effect from that which was a broad entrance. But the entity fulfilled that which was necessary at the time even as John fulfilled the purpose of his time through entry, rather than the broad approach.

Q Was Hitler sent, then, to accomplish the wrath of God?

S Hitler was not sent. Hitler made a selection, though as much by opportunity presented to him, for someone must have come to fulfill that which mankind had earned or needed. You must understand, even as you will find in your Scriptures, there is no advancement without that which is adversity. Those who meet adversity may find the contentment of achievement through the spiritual. That is not to say self-satisfaction, for there is a difference between spiritual aware contentment. For the struggle continues and the advancement continues – unless contentment becomes a staid thing or that which anchors an entity into one place, one occupation, one level – then contentment is that which is a measure of success. Genesis 13:1-2

And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

S You have that which is the raising up or the leaving of that which is fundamentally the physical-mental world of Egypt, of Lot, who is in a sense, opposite of Abram. And that which are the treasures of Abram are that of the mind and that of the spirit. For the search is in the beginning and Abram is as the beginning, whereas Lot, you see, is preoccupied and controlled by that which is the physical and that which is the physical-mental, rather than the spiritual.

Genesis 13:3-4

And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai; Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

S Each and every soul, each and every force, each and every physical-mental body that possesses a soul must return to that place of understanding whence it has entered into this plane in the beginning to re-establish in front of that altar (which is in self) the process, the drive, the search for God. All entities regardless of their fame or apparent success must achieve from the very basis, step by step. There is no shortcoming.

Q Could you please tell us about that place of understanding whence it entered?

S That place of understanding is merely what you would call the landing or the dock or the station where you are ready to return once again to the physical environs. It is merely after that time in another plane you are deemed or ordered to return to this plane. It, for some, is a joyous thing. For others it is next or akin to that which would be considered punishment. (10-142)

Genesis 13:5-6

And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.

S In a sense what is given here is that there must become a priority in the lives of all individuals, whether they will find harmony within themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. For if they do not there will be that which clashes – the spiritual-mental versus that which is the mental-physical as here in example of Abram and Lot – brother spirits but not in harmony.

Genesis 13:7-9

And there was a strife between the herd men of Abram’s cattle and the herd men of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. And Abram said unto Lot, “Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.”

S Not only do you have this action within each individual where there must come a time when there must be a separation or that separation between the physical world and its desires and the spiritual world and its desires – or forces, rather – (and since the individual, even as nations, have not achieved to that balance) there, then, must be the selection of where the development will be. In truth, all individuals must come to this where the physical-mental world must be separated from the spiritual-physical world. It cannot go hand in hand at that time. Hence, the individual must, for some time, separate within the life those forces that would seek to overwhelm. For there must come a time, eventually, when these two forces must merge, find the balance that they may achieve within this earth that which the individual must learn in the search to become one with the Lamb, the Way, the Christ.

Q In the Cayce reading 262-60, it gives the following affirmation, and I quote: “FATHER, LET THY DESIRES BE MY DESIRES, LET MY DESIRES, GOD, BE THY DESIRES IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.”

In the Ram readings it says, “Desire, in itself, is wrong.” Please clarify this seeming discrepancy.

S No discrepancy. For when you give yourself up to that which is the will of God you have no personal desires. You express that which is God’s expression.

Q Is there an affirmation which would be more applicable for use by the study group in studying the chapter on Desire?

S Of course. But next week it must change for the success of the first and each following time it would change and change. For you see, do not become as one tracked onto a certain thing. And this is what is meant by the heathens in their prayers reciting many times over and over those things which are absolutely meaningless. Only meaning can be applied to a progressive self. Therefore, that is why you have been given meditation. Your meditation is that which progresses self. Each entity, each individual, must find his or her way. You have a source within you that is beyond that which is measured in affirmations given through any source. For you have that which is the tie-in with the God Force within, the Christ, that will change each and every need, each and every service, each and every thought, if you would but use it. Then, if you must cry out, if you must seek, use this but only for the short time, the beginning:

LORD, MY GOD, IN FAITH I COME TO YOU SEEING THAT THY LOVE OVERCOMES ALL THAT IS NEGATIVE IN MY LIFE AS I SEE THINGS NEGATIVE TO BE. OH, FATHER OF LOVE AND MERCY, HEAR MY PRAYER AND PUT ME ON THAT WHICH IS THE RIGHT PATH IN THE RIGHT PLANE AT THIS TIME.

Genesis 13:10-11

And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.

S Here you have that which is the blueprint for the physical-mental being that lives in the physical-mental, seeing only that which is the physical and then rejoicing in that. It has been thus forever since mankind became as a freethinking individual where that which by its physical appearance, draws the entities toward it.

Genesis 13:12-13

Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.

S The physical is ever drawn to that which is, or is seen as that which are the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah, that which is drawn to the flesh, that which is drawn to the appetite. This, then, is basically desire as found within the physical-mental being. Quite the opposite, you see, of that which is the drawing or the force within or even that which is termed desire for the spiritual nature of things.

Genesis 13:14-16

And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, “Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. “

S This is the promise for those who seek or become enthralled with that which is the spiritual search, that the greatness of God is without limitation and that the promise of God is to multiply thyself. For you are that which perpetuates your own being, your own force, forever. Thus, it is that God has promised and in faith you will find that which is the promise fulfilled within this earth and beyond this earth.

Genesis 13:17-18

“Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.” Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.

S Forever in the seeking, never forget that which is the uppermost order within thy spiritual being to reckon with and to give to the Lord that which is His due: worship, joy and love.
