Prayer – Channel

Oh Lord, bring forth the presence of Thy Son, that He will show us the way, will grant us a fuller life, will open our eyes, our ears and our souls that we may better understand and be better at that which You would have us be, serving You to the fullest and being about Your business as You would have us be. We ask this, then, knowing it is Thy will to be done, not our wills, but Thy will. And others first, Father, others first.

Destroy the old! Bring out the new! Open thy eyes and rejoice in the Lord. For the Light is come, for the song is sung and redemption is at hand. And hear now, then, the Word. Be not faint in heart. Do not struggle in those things you cannot understand. Make not your heart weary in that which you do not understand, but rejoice in the Lord and know that someday, somewhere, you, too, will know and be lifted up. We give, then, the love and blessings of the Christ, of the Holy Spirit, of the Creative Force.

We have the force, we have the will, and we have the way of this group. And in conjunction, we have that which is the Light; we have the Truth; we have the Word. And again we say: let not your hearts be weary when you understand not that which is given, but know again that someday, somewhere, somehow, you will be lifted up and you will know. This is the truth; this is the way. For if you would understand what we mean, what we say at this time, this night, look into His Psalm, the 22nd Psalm, and realize this is your anthem even as it was His. Rejoice, then, in the word of the Lord, in Jesus Christ arisen.

Genesis 24:1-2

And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, “Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh.”

S Abraham is calling, then, upon what might be termed the seneschal to honor his position by putting his hand under his belt, or that which might be considered girdle, which shows allegiance, then, to the wearer. It is a verbal command or request of that which was done at one time, binding another’s hands and allowing, then, the one-in-authority’s hands free to do as they would do to the subjugated one. Here is, in truth, the Lord saying to you as a person: “Now you are on mission; now you are on your way and I will give you that which you must do in this plane, this life.”

Q I didn’t understand the word you said at first – was it sensual or essential?

S Seneschal. Term for one who acts as secretary, treasurer, what have you, in the estate of a prince.

Q And was he then – was this a guru-disciple or master-disciple relationship rather than slave relationship that they had?

S This is as yes, in a sense, yes. Also, as one who is prince to count, or king to prince.

Genesis 24:3-4

And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell; but thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

S This is self in life, the God-force within the individual sending out the order that the marriage or the combining of the Isaac of self (which is the joy of the Lord or the joy in the beauty of the Lord or the soul force recognizing the joy of beauty) in marriage to that which is the thought or the force or the drive or that which consumes and brings together, then, the driving forces that are at odds to become one in the way of the Lord. Hence, that which is being spoken of here is the order from that within yourself to be about the search where you may bring into yourself to the meeting place within you the forces that will combine with the soul force within you, that is to say, the God within and the God without, to become one in service of the Creative Force or that of the Universal Love.

Genesis 24:5-9

And the servant said unto him, “Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?” And Abraham said unto him, “Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again. The Lord God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and that which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, ‘Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence. And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.’” And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.

S This is the order. This is the way, saying that in the service of the Lord or the finding of that which you must do (for the servant is part of self, Abraham is part of self, Isaac is part of self) that you cannot waver in that which is the task set before you. You cannot turn back once the command has been given within that which is the knowledgeable part of the mind and the soul. For the remembrance then of the commandment is before you. It is up to the individual to find that which is, in this case, the bride or the woman and in that which is forgiving same for not achieving is set to that which is beyond the control of the individual in the search. And remember, the search is all-important. That which is the angel that goes before you is the force, the power of meditation and prayer and, in truth, the angels that God has set in motion to serve you in your needs in the spiritual sense.

Q Why was he told not to bring the son there again?

S This is the turning back. For once upon the path, you cannot turn back. To turn back and redo is incorrect. You must go, as given, directly – never turning back. Yes, you will stumble. Yes, the desire and the forces may overwhelm self or fade in the needs and the power that you think is necessary to overcome or find that place. But never, never turn back or away. This is turning back and bringing the son back to that land. As given in that which we gave in the introduction, let not your heart be weary by those things that you do not understand. The time will come when you will be enlightened.

Genesis 24:10-14

And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water. And he said, “O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray Thee, send me good speed this day and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. Behold I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, ‘Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also; let the same be she that thou has appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that Thou hast showed kindness unto my master.’”

S Camels here representing that which is the spiritual force of endurance, of strength, to carry the individual forward in that which is the search to find, then, the compatible force or that which is by the wellspring of the Lord or the spiritual waters and then in the calling forth, at that time and place, in the name of the Lord for that which would satisfy the Abraham or the first enlightenment or search within self.

Genesis 24:15-16

And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

S Rebekah is the light of the Lord, is the joy of the Lord, and, in short, the beauty of the Lord. She, then, possesses that which is the water of life, the spiritual water of baptism and feeding for the soul.

Genesis 24:17-21

And the servant ran to meet her, and said, “Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.” And she said, “Drink, my lord:” and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. And when she had done giving him drink, she said, “I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.” And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels. And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the Lord had made his journey prosperous or not.

S This is a spiritual success as one would find it in prayer and meditation, and then going out and finding within the life the sustenance given by the Lord – not only for that which are the internal workings of the individual but that which are the forces or the camels as given here, strengthened and replenished for that which is the concentrated drive in the direction of the spiritual enlightenment. The wonderment, then, within the individual is always assured, for the individuals always come to that point of deciding: has God now given to me that which is His to give or have I deceived myself, deluded myself and have gone astray or misinterpreted that which has come to me?

Genesis 24:22-26

And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; and said, “Whose daughter art thou? Tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father’s house for us to lodge in?” And she said unto him, “I am the daughter of Behuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.” She said moreover unto him, “We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.” And the man bowed down his head, and worshiped the Lord.

S The symbols here of that which is proffered, the gold, are the symbols, then, of the mind and the soul being offered, then, to God and God responds by letting the entity know that there is much room within His being or His awareness for the individual. Thus, then, the soul force and the mind force of the entity now knows God to worship and is clear about the mission and that which the entity has succeeded in doing to that point.

Q What is the significance of the two different weights of the gold?

S The mind is the lesser and the greater, then, is the soul.

Genesis 24:27-28

And he said, “Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s brethren.” And the damsel ran and told them of her mother’s house these things.

S This is the relinquishing of all the doubts that the entity had and you as individuals would have, or do have, in those moments when you find the Lord. To some this is a daily occurrence, to others it is a once in a lifetime thing. Therefore, feed the soul in that mercy given to you by God when these moments or that moment occurs.

Genesis 24:29-31

And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well. And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister’s hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, “Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.” And he said, “Come in, thou blessed of the Lord; wherefore standest thou without? For I have prepared the house, and room for the camels.”

S This is the opening within yourself to that which is God’s house within you that you may find your place awaiting you. For Laban here is that which is the guardian of the force or the footstool or the throne of God within your own being.

Genesis 24:32-36

And the man came into the house: and he ungirded his camels, and gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men’s feet that were with him. And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, “I will not eat, until I have told mine errand.” And he said, “Speak on.” And he said, “I am Abraham’s servant. And the Lord hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. And Sarah my master’s wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath.”

S You have here that which is proper and should be heeded by those who would listen and learn. That before the fruits are taken, the testament is given to God and of God of those things that have been received by the individual from the bounty of God and that, then, which is the search or the fulfillment of the same.

Genesis 24:37-41

And my master made me swear, saying, “Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell: But thou shalt go unto my Father’s house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son. And I said unto my master, ‘Peradventure the woman will not follow me.’ And he said unto me, ‘The Lord, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house: then shalt thou be clear from this my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee one, thou shalt be clear from my oath.’”

S This is the repeating within self of the methods and of the mission that must be kept within the mind or the balance of the mind and the spirit of an individual when they are about the search. Even though they have found that which they have sought, they must realize the way and the steps that were taken. Lest they slip, lest they go astray, it must remain within that individual as the prime thought that one must earn the path and yet can never earn or do enough to earn the position as the redemption is only by God Himself. You may now go to verse 48 and continue.

Genesis 24:48-49

“And I bowed down my head, and worshiped the Lord, and blessed the Lord

God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son. And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand or to the left.”

S This is granting to God the success by the bowing of the head, by the prayers said, by the admission that God is that which has led the individual on the journey, even as your journey is led by God, God in action, God in love, and also acknowledging that no matter how far you go upon your mission or how successful that mission is, you must constantly be in touch with God, asking God’s advice and guidance regardless of the statute that you have followed or the stature that you have achieved to. For it is a never-ending process that the individual must pray to God, not only in worship but for advice and guidance, and then meditate upon same. This is the law. This is the law.

Genesis 24:50-53

Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, “The thing proceedeth from the Lord: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good. Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go, and let her be thy master’s son’s wife, as the Lord hath spoken.” And it came to pass, that when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he worshiped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth. And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things.

S Living the life, then rewarding that which is given to you by your deeds. This is the jewel, this is the gold, this is the precious thing that is given. All these things together, then, are the acts that you perform towards others in the name of God.

Genesis 24:54-58

And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, “Send me away unto my master.” And her brother and her mother said, “Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go.” And he said unto them, “Hinder me not, seeing the Lord hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master.” And they said, “We will call the damsel, and enquire at her mouth.” And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, “Wilt thou go with this man?” And she said, “I will go.”

S There is always temptation even in that which is the spiritual success and maybe even more so at the spiritual success. And when you combine the spiritual success with that which is material achievement, then there is the temptation to move in a manner not appropriate to tarry upon that which is the path or the chosen way. It is mankind’s need as human. It is that which you bask in and glorify for those moments of joy and prosperity, and, yet, even at that time that is so satisfying one must be about their way and use the force or the forcefulness of self to continue the achievement.

Q Why did they want her to tarry ten days?

S Ten days, the ten here only shows that which is a long period of time, in the showing not immediate. It means you would, in a sense, lollygag about enjoying, then, the fruits that have been handed to self. This is the subtle temptation which is always present or ever present in success or near success that often tends to lead individuals astray upon the paths of spiritual-mental pleasure rather than going about thy Father’s business even as ordered here or represented in the command by Abraham.

Q Did the first and early readers of this chapter understand the deeper meanings

S Those who were schooled in the higher understandings, yes. But the majority lost that which was first given to them for the very fact that it’s easier for someone else to bear the burden of that which sometimes becomes very oppressing to those who value the outer world more than the inner world and, thus, became a wider degree between those who understood and those who did not understand. And, remember, there were many who understood that liked the position of understanding that which the majority did not understand, even as many do at this time.

Q What about the writers?

S The writers or the scribes?

Q The scribes.

S The scribes were intellectuals of their time, not priestly, no but with great authority and power and many misused this power, not only because of that which they assumed as the spiritual understanding but that which were the mental and physical positions that these entities aspired to and possessed.

Q Is this understood subconsciously when it’s read?

S It reinforces that which you already know from birth, which is, in truth, the birthright given to by the Creative Force.

Genesis 24:59-66

And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham’s servant, and his men. And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, “Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.” And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way. And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country. And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming. And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. For she had said unto the servant, “What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us?” And the servant had said, “It is my master:” therefore she took a veil, and covered herself. And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done.

S Rebekah here is the melding force between that which is Isaac and herself. For Isaac, then, in meditation, or self in meditation, seeks that which is this force that will bring about then, at that time, the intellectual, the physical, and the spiritual into one being. You have Rebekah, this force of joy, of beauty, veiling self lest those thoughts of the world, or the worldly thoughts, be influential upon that which the entity is trying to prescribe or create or bring about within self. For not until they become as one has there been success in the entity in reaching that point as the mission is at that time. For the mission was, for those truly involved, in the physical by true names and beings at that time.

Genesis 24:67

And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.

S At this time, then, the mother represents that which is the mother force or the physical force and then at that which is the coming together of the two spiritual forces guided by the intellectual force that the mother force or the physical force no longer is that which is the controlling force within the entity. Thus, it was with Jesus the Christ when His hands were pierced, and His feet were pierced and then His side being pierced. No longer was there that which was the physical dominance or even that which was necessary for the balance within the system between the intellectual, the spiritual, and the physical. For the physical then became that which will be united with the spiritual-mental being. At that time, it is necessary for the return to the earth (in any physical form) or that which is the creation of the universes that each and every individual will be master of.
