This document is a comprehensive analysis of Genesis Chapter 25 from the Bible, focusing on its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It explores the narratives of the death of Abraham, the generations of Ishmael, the birth of Esau and Jacob, and the selling of Esau’s birthright. The material delves into themes like destiny, the contrast between physical and spiritual pursuits, and the profound implications of choices and actions in the biblical context.
Genesis 25:1-4
Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
S This is the expanding force, then, of the knowledge and the spiritual work within an entity going out through the body. For now there is that which is fertile field to be worked. It is also, in the physical, the spreading of the times or the tribes or the families or the influences upon same by that which had been achieved by Isaac’s and Rebekah’s oneness in the spiritual and the physical sense.
Genesis 25:5-7
And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country. And these are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
S You have the separation within an individual between that which is the spiritual life and that which is the physical life or the physical-mental life. You have all honor going to the spiritual life as dictated, then, by the intellectual-spiritual being. And the parting of that which is the intellectual-physical being, also not destroyed or cut down, as you would term it to be (or that which is) but that which is subjected to the spiritual rather than destroyed or put aside by the spiritual. It is not looked down upon. It is no longer admired; therefore, it is put away with what it deserves – its pleasures, its treasures, its goodness. For the physical-spiritual does have its goodness and its treasures. However, that which deserves and is of the greater is that which is represented as the spiritual in Isaac or the son of Abraham.
And now we give that which is the love, the blessings, the pleasure of the Lord. And the Light be with you. Let love be your tool, let love be your light, and know that thy Father which is in heaven is that force that guides, protects, proceeds and follows, surrounds your being, dictates that which is the way, refurbishes your spiritual body and being, and that God is love.

Prayer – Channel
Oh, Lord God have mercy upon us. Fill our lives with Thy light, Thy love. Make clear the path before us. Lend us Thy helping hands that we may assume those things that we must in this life. Fill us with Thy love and Thy mercy that we may love others and be filled with Thy purpose. God, through Jesus the Christ, we pray that we will be useful and good as You would have us be.

Fill thy soul with the Word and thy mind with the purpose and feed thy spirit with the spirit of God. If the truth be known let it be known through thy actions, thy knowledge, wisdom and, above all, love. Hear now, then, the Word. You have been given that time of choice to declare thy purpose unto God. You have mulled the question and the purpose within the mind and yet not with the soul. Now then listen to, then, that which is the soul. For the soul knows that which the mind must absorb and understand that you may be a team in the service of God. Your soul is fed by your mind but the flame of God is within the soul. Hence listen. Destiny is the golden word and the rule for each and every entity that would listen to the word of God. Destiny lies within the soul. It is the promise. It is the word of God to your soul. When the soul hungers for the freedom that it has been barred from by the mind, by the actions of self, it is the word of destiny that keeps the soul from withering, from writhing and the agony of the separation of the Word. Destiny is that which is faith. They are one and the same, for God has given you destiny and you have given yourselves karma. For what is karma but that which separates you from your destiny? Then look not for karma in the life, for in doing so you bring the laws of karma into play. It is good for you to understand the word ‘karma’, but you have now progressed beyond that which is this. Therefore, make the guiding word, the sole word, that which you envision within yourselves, that which leads you to meditation: destiny. For destiny is God; destiny is faith; destiny is love; destiny is peace; destiny is the Christ. For He, Jesus the Christ, found destiny. Destiny, then, puts aside the body and eventually the mind. For when the soul reaches its destiny, all knowledge, all wisdom, all love belongs to that soul. Keep these words within thy heart. Ponder them, for it is thy salvation.
Genesis 25:8-10
Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people. And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre; the field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
S This is the inexorable, the unstoppable working of God, that all things must go forward and meet that which you would term `fate’ or in this case, destiny, that movement must be forward that perfection can only be achieved through birth, death, rebirth, and death again towards that which is the future or the foundation for the return to the throne of God.
Genesis 25:11-16
And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi. Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham: And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the first born of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam, and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa, Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah: these are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
S This is the force within mankind as represented here by the sons of Ishmael, by the well, then, that gives sustenance whether it is used for the spiritual or the not so spiritual functions. Here represents the twelve sons as the spreading forth of the word or as mankind would spread the word, regardless of the correctness or the incorrectness at that time. Here, Ishmael represents the working of God, rather not in the highest sense as you would perceive it to be, but for purpose that a higher sense and higher way might be achieved.
Genesis 25:17-20
And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people. And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren. And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son. Abraham begat Isaac: and Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
S Here you have, then, the contrast of that which is more purpose or can be seen by mankind as the greater purpose of God. Also spreading the word, also moving forward into that area where there must be confrontation between the light and the dark, the good and the not so good.
Genesis 25:21-26
And Isaac entreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the Lord. And the Lord said unto her. Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red, all over like a hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
S Esau and Jacob are the examples of the struggle within all the history of mankind between that which is the mind as Jacob and that which are the animal forces, desires, or that of the body. The representation of Esau here, being that which is red, are the forces of the body, beginning with that which is the blood, the forces of desire which are seen as to that of the spectrum of red, while that of Jacob is the mind and the mind must overcome the body to progress to that stage where it can become a mental-spiritual being rather than the physical-mental being. Hence, the struggle that was to be. For Jacob, the heel-holder, followed, you see, the elder which is the physical nature. For man came into the physical world through the physical animal, hence held up the heel of the physical here, you see. But the time would have to come where the mental man must exhibit the qualities of the mind to rid itself of the physical domination as Esau, even in the manner considered devious and underhanded by those who do not understand that this is a spiritual-mental-physical world rather than just a physical-mental world ruled by that which is the understanding of the rules and regulations as set up by mankind. You have often heard that there are no rules in love or war. This was war as the mind at the time or the undeveloped mind knew it to be. The mind, as always, is the builder. The mind knew it must overcome and you shall see as you progress the battle between Esau and Jacob.
Q We’ve been told that some of us are living a Jacob life. Does that mean overcoming the physical by the mental?
S This is correct. That is the key to the spiritual nature of self. Once Jacob has won the battle then that which is the Jesus becomes predominant, for the Jesus always can overcome the mind. For that is what the mind seeks.
Q In that same comment when you mentioned we were living the Jacob life, you mentioned one was struggling with the John life. Is this the same as what you just said about the Jesus coming forth? Does John represent the same thing?
S John is that which lies the step beyond the mind but the step behind the Jesus life. For you must understand that even in the birthdays of John and Jesus (and so forth) you have that which is exactly six or that which is half of the other. For to fulfill the work of John, John (both Baptist and Beloved) had to have the birthday exactly six months away from Jesus to achieve the spiritual necessity for the spiritual mind, the mind physical, and all the ramifications of same.
Genesis 25:27-28
And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
S The feminine spirit, holding within itself the words or trust of God, recognized and realized the difference, the great difference, between Esau and Jacob. No one else could. For you see those parts of the mind undeveloped worshiped the physical, for the physical has dominance over it. Hunting and providing the good food as seen as the red meat is a symbol of the domination of the material world by the physical desires over the mental world, even though the mental world may not have developed beyond the mental-material world.
Genesis 25:29-34
And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: and Esau said to Jacob, “Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint:” therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, “Sell me this day thy birthright.” And Esau said, “Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?” And Jacob said, “Swear to me this day;” and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
S Not much represented here explaining Esau. For, once again, you have the pottage being red or the forces that are the natural forces of the body or the physical urges. You have the desire to be fed now of the physical resources and such. You have the inability to weigh and value that which was the birthright, but rather the force telling that it must be fed now. This, or at that time, Esau was not starving, would not die without that which was given, but it is the force, you see, in mankind at this time so prevalent, more prevalent than it has been for eons or for generations – that force to be satisfied now. The now is the important. Give me now what I want. I must have this now, for it is of importance. Hence, what was given here was Esau selling that which would have made him the spiritual man or, in that time, the leader of his tribe for the immediate satisfaction of the believed needs or desires.
