John 8: Grace, Truth, and Challenging the PhariseesThis document is a detailed analysis of John Chapter 8 from the Bible, focusing on its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It includes challenging the Pharises and Jesus’ interaction with the adulterous woman, His teachings on truth and freedom, and the challenge to the Pharisees’ understanding. The material explores themes like divine grace, the nature of sin and forgiveness, and the deeper meanings behind Jesus’ words and actions.

John 8:1-11

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, “Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned; but what sayest thou?” This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So, when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” And again, he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, “Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?” She said, “No man, Lord.” And Jesus said unto her, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

S Children, you have just had the greatest lesson in grace that you will ever receive, and it must begin within yourselves. For you condemn your actions, condemn yourselves by your actions and become a rolling stone, a circle without end. And in condemning yourself, you condemn all who do the same. Therefore, this is why condemning oneself and criticizing oneself is the greater detriment. For you are giving a blanket judgment to all of mankind – past, present, and future. And remember, mind is the builder. See to it when you write upon the akashic records of yourself that you not only forgive others, but you forgive yourself. Thus, it is written, and thus it is so. For as Jesus wrote upon that which is the earth, so you write upon that which are your records. And as Jesus forgives (and He always forgives), your records are wiped clean as you learn to go forth and sin no more. Too often this has been taken only to mean that she, taken in adultery, should not even conceive adultery again in the mind, and none other should also, or those who steal should steal no more, and these are correct. But the greater thing is not to judge and find fault with yourself and to accept that which is given you – the clean slate. Then, and only then can you truly go forth to do your Father’s business. For you are handicapped if you do not forgive yourself. As we look around, we find always those who chain themselves to this that they have done, or that they have not done, that live and thrive upon that which are sins of omission, sins of commission. And they are important. But do not let that drag you down. For the present is the present so that you may overcome. This is what time is all about – that you may overcome.

Q It has been said that Jesus was writing the sins of all those bystanders.

S Well, if you would take the sins that they had past, present, at that time there wasn’t enough space!

Q What was it that Jesus wrote that caused these men to go away?

S Nothing He wrote. It’s what he said. He was the power and the strength for they realized what He said. And each and every one had a flash of valuation of themselves, and the world, and most left better for it. For not one of those that were gathered there that day took part in condemning Jesus the Christ at his trial, or after the trial.

Q Did each man think that He was writing his individual sins? Is that the reason for this symbolic gesture?

S Some felt this, it’s true. Some felt for a moment that He was writing a curse upon them. Others did not even know He was writing, but only saw the bowed Jesus. But they all had that moment of truth.

Q What did Jesus write on the ground?

S Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy strength. [10-17]

John 8:12-20

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” The Pharisees therefore said unto him, “Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.” Jesus answered and said unto them, “Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.” Then said they unto him, “Where is thy Father?” Jesus answered, “Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.” These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

S In that treasury (which lies within yourself) you may, too, talk and learn from the Christ. Would you find redemption today? Would you overcome the world today? Then believe in Him. It’s as simple as that. Believe truly that He is the Light, the Way and the Truth, and He will be your light, your way, your truth. If you could hold that in your heart through this and know this that we are about to give is the truth – alleluia, your soul would shout! JESUS THE CHRIST CARES FOR YOU. There it is. Train yourself. Train yourself to open up to that, because it’s your ticket. Be greedy with this! Hold it to you; hold it in you! Admire it! No one else will want to share it because they won’t believe it. Not His testimony was not true.

Q In John 8:12‑20, the Pharisee told Jesus that He testified concerning Himself so His testimony was not true. According to the law of those days, was a person not allowed to testify for himself? Did he have to have others testify for him?

S You always had to have others testify for you. It was expected that the eldest member of a family testify– that is to say, the male member of the family or the appointee who would stand in as a surrogate parent. In the case of women, it could be the brothers, especially the elder brothers. [10-106]

John 8:21-27

Then said Jesus again unto them, “I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.” Then said the Jews, “Will he kill himself? because he saith, ‘Whither I go, ye cannot come.’ ” And he said unto them, “Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” Then said they unto him, “Who art thou?” And Jesus saith unto them, “Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.” They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

S How few people today would even wish to listen to Jesus the Christ’s message if He were to walk and talk as a man among many. How He was seen (even in a time and a place where there were many who would prophesy, many who would preach, many do wondrous things) as that which was not of the ordinary. How many until their time comes and it is presented to them. This is your jewel. This is your treasure. Jesus the Christ cares for you. It’s true! Live it!

Q Concerning the Pharisee telling Jesus that he testified concerning himself so believed Him?

S A good number. And those who were truly pious within their hearts recognized through that which was their ability, cultivated through that which was their spiritual attendance and belief, realized that He was different, greater. And yet, the majority had to return to that which is the passing over with their sins intact – the missing of the mark – but with the promise that Jesus had come, Jesus had given the way, the way to break the wheel, to begin anew. Mankind ever sees events as personal things. Then make Jesus the Christ your personal savior. If it entails visualizing, even in man form, do it until you may reach that which is the spiritual form and can discard that which is of this world. For you must be, then, first of this world that you may learn, and then ascend to that which is the path (away and above) that He, thy Christ, has given to you, that you may be you about the greater business of working for your brothers and your sisters, of doing God’s chores as He chooses to give them to you. You may ask, and you will receive that which is the guidance and the placement of where you, and how, can be of best value in the spiritual rejuvenation of a race, a people, a world.

OH, LAMB, YOU WHO HAVE WASHED CLEAN BY YOUR BLOOD THE STAINS THESE PEOPLE HAVE PUT UPON THEMSELVES, BE MERCIFUL, BE LOVING AND KIND. AS YOU WERE BEFORE, BE AGAIN; THAT THOUGH THEY STUMBLE AND FALL, YOU WILL RAISE THEM UP WITH YOUR LIFE AND YOUR LIGHT THAT THEY, TOO, MAY SEE THY GLORY, MAY FIND THE JOY OF THE FATHER IN THEMSELVES ALSO.

Prayer

Through our Elder Brother, Jesus the Christ, we come before You, Father, trusting in Thy love, Thy mercy, asking that Your joy Your knowledge, Your wisdom pour forth that we, Thy children, may be guided in those things that You would have us do, have us say, and have us be.

Source

We see thy sheep, oh Lord. We behold thy children, oh mighty One. Grant to us, then, that love, that light, through the light, through the love, that we may impart that which is Thy will to these Thy children, oh Beloved

Behold the Light! Behold the Love! Hear, oh children, the word of Love.

(Message to the members of the Core Group: He, thy Christ gave : “ye are gods in the making.” As He quoted that which is as the scriptures of old, behold, then, thine own souls, minds, and deeds, and look to the day that He will lift thy minds, thy souls, and thy bodies that ye and He may become one.  Arise and walk with that which is love. We are ready for questions.)

John 8:28-32

Then said Jesus unto them, “When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.” As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

S Freedom is the Light. Freedom is being. Freedom is God. Freedom is justice and righteousness. Freedom is mercy. When you raise that which is the Christ and recognize that which has been given to you, you become as one with the Christ and the Christ as one with the Creative force, which is God. The Lord has granted you that which are your own individual decisions, your own individual way, your choosing. And as the Voice of Light, the Voice of Redemption gave, that He pleased the Father; so may you please the Father by being as one with His way and will. This does not put aside that which is freedom of choice. But to choose God’s way brings forth that which is the truth. And the truth of yourself will set you free from that which are the emotions, the physical-mental desires of this plane, and the actions that are entailed by those emotions and desires. If you would find that which is love, light, and truth, then make your words and deeds as one. It has been given to this channel, that in the time this channel assumes prayer and meditation in all that the entity does, in all that the entity thinks, to make that which is the best of all possible worlds for the entity, to be as the entity should. And these words are to all that would hear and see. For He, thy Christ, became one with God and was continually in prayer and meditation in all things that He did. Therefore, set your sights upon that which is as He, that you, too, may be pleasing to the eye and mind of God.

S …In overcoming the world, Jesus the Christ gave the way. That is to say, if and when an entity achieves that which is understanding, that which is faith, that which is truth, the truth will indeed set ye free. Free from what? Free from yourself, which is that which holds you in this plane, which makes lessons necessary, which causes karma to be–good and bad, uses forces in nature, physics to exist. Therefore…as ye achieve through Jesus the Christ, in the balance of self, in the God force within, the God force without (for the truth is, self is of the Father), no harm, no lesson can be learned. For the truth is the truth and cannot be the untruth–reality cannot be illusion, and in the overcoming of the world He gave ye the path. Therefore, ye strive through Him and that which is total grace is yours. The overcoming of self, of karma, of the physical, of even that which is cause and effect–that then is mercy. That then is love. Therefore, achieve through the understanding of Him. For He is the Way. He is the Truth. He is the Light. He is the Master, the Prince of thy destiny. [10-5]

Q Will you please explain the difference between the terminologies “Son of Man” and “Son of God”?

S “Son of Man? Is that which manifests itself through, all the way through, the scriptures. As given earlier, Ezekiel is often quoted in the scripture, as talking about being the son of man as God directs his attention toward things. “Son of Man” is that which is a spiritual being in this case. “Son of God” is that which is a manifested spiritual being, rather than a developed spiritual being in this plane.

Q Please explain manifested spiritual being.

S There are two kinds of manifested spiritual beings. One that manifest itself through the action, the seeking of one within this plane, becoming a growth, a thing achieved in this plane. A manifested spiritual being from that which is the God’s level or the spiritual level, is one who has earned the way to be anointed, come back as a spiritual being, rather than achieving it at that time in the plane as the other. [10-106]

S Behold, I come before His presence, in gladness, with a song, for though this is as the day of sorrows to many, it is the day of joy; for here is that which is the cleansing of the world and that which is the Doorway, the Truth, and the Light, that ye in truth may be set free. Free from what? Free of the burden, or that which ye would call karma. For that which is illusion is a law of illusion, but that which is as the mercy of the Father is a law unto itself–or the law of reality, for reality. Thus, the law of illusion is for the illusion, and the law of reality, for reality. And that of reality is the Way, forgiveness, the mercy that must be found through the seeking of self but can be only accomplished through the Light. Who is the Light? Jesus is the Light. [10-8]

John 8:33-45

They answered him, “We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?” Jesus answered them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” They answered and said unto him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus saith unto them, “If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father.” Then said they to him, “We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.” Jesus said unto them, “If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father, the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”

S The Abraham that dwells within you is the beginning, the foundation of the search. It is that which so many rest their lives upon, and never advance, and never hear the Christ. How many are you that are content with the gleaning of that which are the fields of the spiritual, rather than that which is the harvest of the spiritual. Abraham arose among a peoples that knew no God. And Abraham found that which was the first sacrifice. And yet, how much more is the Christ than Abraham? Settle not for the less within yourself but for the greater. Follow not the less, or the lesser, but achieve to that which is the greatest. Rationalization is that which destroys mankind – rationalizing this and that for selfish and diverse reasons. It is much easier, you see, to condemn than to praise. It is easier to find fault than justice. It is easier for mankind to live with evil than with light. For the darkness abounds in that which is man’s reasoning, and the light is in the heart. Therefore, cast aside that which are the binding chains of the mental institution of your being, and free yourself to that which is the Word, the Light, the true feeling, the true emotions, the true justifications, which is that which is the indwelling Christ within you. Settle not for that which is of man, but for that which is of God. For there is no in-between. There is no grey – not here. Either you are for or against that which is the Prince of Peace.

John 8:46-55

“Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, “Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?” Jesus answered, “I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.” Then said the Jews unto him, “Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?” Jesus answered, “If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.”

S Would you be honored by God, or would you rather honor yourself? If you would be honored by God then you would allow yourself to be used by God as a channel of love, as a funnel of blessing, and incriminate not, chastise not, condemn not, but by the very word of thy being live that which is God’s way. See this: you, too, may be as the Christ, to know the fullness of life rather than that which is the narrow path, to know the greatness of love rather than to be blinded and stunted. For within yourselves is the choice of darkness or light. Know this: the great joy and fulfillment is being the tool. There are those (and the thoughts within you, too) that cannot justify these words, that as even those termed Jews here (for the personalities developed were so termed) saw only the fact that that which was their narrow world would be denied to them, they thought, and that which they conceived themselves to be could not be in existence – no longer. How foolish! It is like the child that comes to the banquet and sees only that which are the crumbs that have fallen upon the floor and sees that to be as the greater, not knowing or looking as to that which is upon the table. How great is the feast that is offered to you by the Holy Spirit. Feed thy souls, thy bodies, thy minds on that which is more than manna – the very word of God. That which is love predominates among that which are the cells, the atoms of your very being, giving life and truth and light. Now think of this: your body is in darkness. Would you live in a world of darkness? How glad and happy would you be when your days were not days, but nights? Then join with that which is the Light, that the Light may become that which awakens the very being of your atoms, your vibrations, that life may truly come to that which are the worlds of self. Can you imagine the joy within your being in those countless universes of yourself when the Light becomes, and darkness is gone? It is not for yourselves but for the selves and selves and selves, those millions and billions of selves within yourself, that you do these things. Even as He, the Christ, dropped into the being of that which is your world to bring the light, to open the eyes, to give the joy, and become that door for you. So become that which is the same for those worlds that you control (that are you) that will be the multitudes of souls and beings of your creation. Choose that which is joy, that which is life, that which is light, or darkness, sadness, yes, and death.

John 8:56-59

“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad”. Then said the Jews unto him, “Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?” Jesus said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am.” Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

S Would you drive the Christ into the hiding? Would you be that which is the desecrator of the temple? Or would you rejoice as Abraham to see the day of the Lord? For in that which is the foundation of your search when conducted in the proper manner through your actions, as dedicated and directed by that which is prayer, contemplation, and meditation, you will raise the Christ. Be not as the Jews as quoted here, or the established thought (for that is what the Jews represent here within yourself) and see only that which are the five senses. For this is what is meant by the fifty years. Be not blinded by these five senses but raise your being that you may find that which are the sixth and seventh senses within yourself that the Christ will not go out of your temple, but will light the light of love, joy, mercy, peace within your being. For if you find in meditation that moment of enlightenment, that moment of recognition, that moment when the still, small voice of love speaks to you, then the temple doors are open, and the Christ will beckon then the Holy Spirit, that, in truth, you and He will be one, and the workings of God, the action of God, by your choosing, will become one with you, that mercy and justice will reign within yourselves to the benefit of your brothers, your sisters, and that once more light will enter that which is the darkness, and life will overcome death, and that which is justice and goodness will reign supreme, and the will of God will be known within the lands by your very presence. And the subconscious yearnings of your brothers, your sisters will open doors within themselves that they, too, may feast upon that table that is set up by the Holy Spirit.
