Oh, beloved Christ, through Thee do we present ourselves to the Father-Mother God, trusting the promises that You have given to us, that You are always with us. And where one or more are gathered in Your name, there You are also. We believe that the Christ does dwell within us, and around us, and that Jesus is the Pattern, the Way, the Truth and the Light. Father, use us now, that that which we do will be a blessing for our brothers, our sisters. Use us now, oh Lord.

In the darkness is the light and in the light, there is no darkness. You have been given the Word, the Way, and now you have the Law. And how can we sum up that which is the Law but in these words: God is love. Therefore, all things are of love and are love. Search the minds of selves, the hearts of selves, that which is the intellect of selves and that which is the spirit, and the spiritual nature of selves, to define and find that which is love. And know this: even in your meagre understanding of love and definition of same, so you establish that which is love. And as you progress through that which are the understandings and the initiations into those things which are of higher understandings, then you broaden that which is the understanding of Law, God. Study that which is given you that you, too, may be approved of that which is the Way, the Truth, and the Light, and know that the Way, the Truth, and the Light is at hand, beckoning, cajoling, praying, outstretching the hands, the physical, the mental, and the spiritual, that you may survive that which is your own free will to find that which is the gateway and the path.
Luke 23:1-3
And the whole multitude of them arose and led him unto Pilate. And they began to accuse him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ, a King.” And Pilate asked him, saying, “Art thou the King of the Jews?” And he answered him and said, “Thou sayest it.”
S These passages are greatly wrapped in that which is the metaphysical understanding. And even though these were, in actuality, the physical and mental things that did occur, and the terminology changed to fit that which is the understanding of the translators of later times, the meaning is the same and will give a clarification of the understanding of the event in itself. For the act of bringing to Pilate (Pilate being the will) the attention of a Christ or the spirit that is the animating and life force within the human to attention, see – the accusing being of not giving head tax to Caesar. In that time head tax was a deplorable thing to the Hebrew and to the neighboring tribes, being that which was the tax upon the male, all males of the family, which was degrading to the maleness that was a driving force within the social groups of that entire area. But in the metaphysical, or that which occurs within yourselves, as it did here, Caesar was that which was the outward intellect, or the intellect understanding and guided by the outward influences towards the mind from the physical-mental world. Therefore, cutting off that which was the tax, or the rewards to Caesar, was giving not the just dues of thought-action to that which was the intellect of that which is the physical world upon the individual. You have Pilate, the will, being brought forth to judge the actions of the Christ, or the spirit, as presented to him by the thought pattern and the established rules and regulations within the mind process of humanity.
Q The way it is presented to our literal minds doesn’t make sense. Pilate asked Him one question and got back an answer, “Thou sayest it” and then Pilate said he didn’t find any fault in Him. Should we know more about the actual conversation that went on, or is this sufficient as it stands?
S This is a synopsis of what happened. For the only answer that Jesus the Christ would give at that time was, “Thou sayest it.” Pilate found nothing wrong with one proclaiming himself. Remember, Pilate, in itself, is derived from the Latin word pilum, or that weapon sharp, that weapon used to skewer the enemy, the mind, the intellect; here, being that weapon, and in the probing found nothing wrong for one to claim, or to not deny that they were of God or the spirit. For you see, Latin being the basis of Rome, Rome being that which is of the mind, and the true intellectual mind found it rational to believe that man was above the meat, bone, the sinew, possessing something more than the rest of creation – an intellect, a spirit from the Deity or deities. Therefore, that which is the will found nothing wrong here, even as Pontius Pilate, the man, in his philosophical makeup and training as a Stoic, the entity rationalized and found nothing wrong, nothing that went against the grain, the upbringing, the teaching – and Pilate was not an Epicurean.
Luke 23:4-7
Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, “I find no fault in this man.” And they were the more fierce, saying, “He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.” When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilean. And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
S The will, finding out that the Christ is as of that which is the spiritual (or Galilee), then sends for that which is the ruler of thought processes, that which is or has been from times immemorial, the argumentative to that which is the will – the ego or, even more exact, the carnal ego, Herod, the narrow, crafty, forbidding Herod, the ego. The will turns this over to the ego and its thought processes within self for judgement here will be made – not by the will – but by the ego.
Luke 23:8-19
And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him. Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing. And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him. And Herod with his men of war set him at naught, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate. And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves. And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, Said unto them, “Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault with this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him: No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.” (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.) And they cried out all at once, saying, “Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:” (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)
S Here you have even as politics are accomplished in this time, that which is the politics within the body, the mind structure as politics (even in those days) where that which is the force, or the power exerted upon those of affluence and influence is that which becomes policy. For here you have the mind and the will then coming into conjunction, really finding nothing wrong with the Christ Force, really condemning it not. But in the weakness of that which is the political position within the thought process machine, the ego, then not wishing to jeopardize its place, coming forth in strength with its new found partner, the will, giving way to the social pressures within self, the mind pattern and the day (even as it happened at that time), turning the innocent over to that which is the persecutor, ridiculing that which is the spiritual process. But remember, it happens within yourself, and it is a must. It is a learning process in miniature, in compliance with that which is the way as Jesus the Christ founded, that the path may be made open. For it is within suffering that you come to be tempered and learn that which is the law. And the law is love. For how could you learn love and peace without that which are as the opposites? Therefore, in the sacrifice of that which was the position, the knowledge, the wisdom, the power, the individuality, at that time, Jesus is imitated within yourselves each time you put that which is God’s work before that which is your Herod, your Pilate, and the forces that drive those two to overcome the need, the truth within your lives.
Q Did Pilate’s wife have a dream warning him against doing anything to Jesus? Didn’t this influence him?
S This individual, as you give it here, had many dreams and was, in her way, almost a prophetess. The entity was convinced of the validity of the Jewish way and influenced that one which was the spouse to be more lenient and understanding of the Jews. And remember, the Jew in the spiritual meaning is that which is the highest thought in religion, in spirit, that occurs within an individual. It is the next step to that which is the Christ. Therefore, this entity was putting forth to the spouse much pressure. Pilate, though well steeped in that which was the Latin training, could understand the Jewish way, was warned, for the entity, the wife, had many dreams, but was not influenced totally. For you see, you have a polished, veteran politician, you have a polished soldier who takes all things into consideration and does that which is best as that entity sees it to be for the good of country. Had that individual had less pressure upon him, there would have been a release of Jesus. The accomplishment would not have happened. And those that put that which was the pressure upon Pilate and Herod did it for the fact they were the proper people, in the proper place, at the correct time, doing that which they would have done. And yet, some voluntarily, you see, in the coming in, to accomplish that which was the correct thing to have happened.
Luke 23:20-24
Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. But they cried, saying, “Crucify him, crucify him.” And he said unto them the third time, “Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him and let him go.” And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed. And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
S This was a volatile land, even as the body of self and mind of self is a volatile thing. Pilate was an honest man, and a brave man to face down the crowd as he did. And yet, being schooled as he was in that which was best for the government, that which was best for Rome (even as you are schooled to accept that which is best to the social mores of your time and place, accept so many things), accepted, with the thought in mind, the sacrifice of the few for the many, or the good of the many, is right and proper. This, once again, went with much of the military training that that entity had. Therefore, after voicing that which he felt was true and honest, then did as his mind told him was best to do. For you see, even as the upheavals occur within yourself at those times that you must face God, or the Christ, so there were social upheavals, riots, and those things at that time. And the fewer causes, the fewer aggravations that presented themselves, the better for the Romans, the high Jews, and those people that ran the land at that time.
Q Did this incident have much to do with Pilate’s recall to Rome and suicide?
S Not in a direct fashion. For the incident, in itself, was a rather minor one, you see, to the Roman way of thinking. However, the mind of Pontius Pilate was affected by the incident, by that which he saw was a destructive force in the empire, and the fact that politics, as he saw it, was corroding and destroying. For in some ways this entity was a high-minded individual. He found the force of Jesus to be that which hounded the mind, the dreams. Therefore, the awakening and the sleeping became a regretful thing to the entity; then that which was the efficiency of self, fell off, giving those who, you see, were rampant at that time, that were in opposition, to be as of the undoing of that entity. It was a common thing, you see, to cut the throat, to backstab anyone who stood in your political way.
Luke 23:25-31
And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired: but he delivered Jesus to their will. And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. But Jesus turning unto them said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, ‘Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.’ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us;’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?”
S This is the awakening within the individual, even as He prophesied that the awakening would be among those who were the tormentors, and those who were the Jews of the area, and those who were even the Gentiles (even as within yourself you have that which is the spiritual thought and that which is the animal thought, or the external thought, the Gentile), that these things would bear heavily upon the mind and the spirit of those people. And the realization of that which has been and is, being an affront to the spiritual nature of selves, to that which is God, that the wiping out and the covering up, or the destruction of that which is the past, and the experiences of same, that which leads to rebirth, reincarnation, would be attended to. For then would come, even as to the people of those days to those of now, the understanding of what you have done, the offenses against that which is the spiritual nature of yourself, your soul force in bondage, and that which was done to Jesus the Christ and is done daily to Him again and again and again by the multitudes that live upon the surface of this earth, this plane. Better the destruction of the past by the wiping out of today in the experience – then of living in the Christ and for the Christ. For that which is the mountain is that which you would go to in meditation, falling upon and crushing that which is the negative past, the negative actions, and the hills covering that (where the strength comes from – which is God), the attitudes, emotions, desires of the present.
Luke 23:32-38
And there were also two other malefactors, led with him to be put to death. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” And they parted his raiment and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he be the Christ, the chosen of God.” And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar. And saying, “If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.” And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
S Though they knew it not, they were indeed giving that which is the Christ’s – KING OF THE JEWS – King of the religious, spiritual thought within yourselves and themselves. Here you have that which is the parting of the raiment and, as given earlier, it is glorious raiment – was not so glorious, but a red or scarlet cloak or cape which was a legionnaire’s attire, rather worn to show that which is the degrading. For it was not the royal purple, but that of the common soldiery. However, that which is red, or scarlet is the symbol, you see here, of the sacrificial lamb, or that which is the martyr, the jeering of that which are the martial thoughts of self to the Christ that rises within yourself. And those rejections that come of the Christ is that which is as the crucifixion. There is, even in the Aramaic writings of the term used here, “malefactor,” as that which is a mistaken idea. For that term meaning evil doer was given in suggestion that Jesus of Nazareth was an evil doer, too, and that they were then crucified, each to His sides. This being true, for only the evil or mis living that Jesus would have been or could have been accused of is taking on human garb, human tongue. But that, in itself, as a position must have occurred, or a place must be taken, was not evil. The motto, or that rule which was set forth by Jesus of Nazareth at that time, “Forgive them, they know not what they do,” is that which you must live by towards yourself as well as others. For daily you give those offense, or offenses, to others in those things that you outwardly and superficially do not know. Others do the same to you, and quite often you judge them by their acts that they do not know that they are doing to you. Therefore, you must be forgiving and not judgmental as to this act or that act – especially those acts of hearsay.
Q We’ve been told that vinegar is a wrong translation and that what He was offered was some form of an opiate that would reduce the pain. Could we infer that the rest of the statement is false also, that the soldiers didn’t necessarily mock Him and that the writer of this passage was trying to give the wrong impression?
S The soldiers did mock. For you see, the soldier that day was very rude, crude, living a life that was based in not having feelings towards others, owing only loyalty to that which was the eagle. Therefore, the legionnaire himself was, often as not, an illiterate, basing the judgment and the weighing and position of others by that which was their standard which was: all outside, all foreigners, as they termed it (though many of them were auxiliaries), were below and beneath that which is (was, though) the one who had the Roman background, the Roman citizenship, or as in terms of auxiliaries were in pay of Rome. Because of the brutality of the times, because of the brutality of the situations the soldiers of that day were forced to live with, because of the toughness of the mental character and the physical character and the enduring quality of that, they were full of crudeness, of jests, and of what you would term barbaric customs.
Luke 23:39-43
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying,” If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.” But the other answering rebuked him, saying, “Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.” And he said unto Jesus, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
S This is the irrational and rational mind at bay, and the rational mind then turning to that which is the God within and asking for mercy, love, and forgiveness. And it is ever the promise that when one does bare the soul and truly repent the action of the mind, then you are on the way to that which is For God is ever forgiving – else there would not be a Holy Spirit or a Holy Comforter. Be aware of that which is the dividing within yourselves between that which is the rational and irrational mind. For you use both each day, sometimes one to the greater detriment and to the greater discomfort of yourself and others.
Luke 23:44-49
And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit:” and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man.” And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned. And all his acquaintances, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.
S How much the spirit affects the body in that time that mind and will and that which you would term the intellect come together, realizing then the spiritual nature of self, the binding force of Christ the Redeemer. How then that within yourself is rent and the Holy Spirit delighted, for there is a release then from bondage that which is the way within yourself, that self then may procure that which is its proper place among the spiritual, among that which are the ordained. For all are ordained that do not turn their backs upon God. Even as those in authority, as the centurion at that time, those thoughts and actions within yourself, the training of authority, realizes and recognizes the spirit and God in action, and God that is the force of love, creation, and life. Then comes in the attuning, that which is represented here as the women who followed. For that is the attuning to that which has been discovered and released by the crucifixion within yourself of desire, ego, Herod, the destructive tendencies that chain you to bondage to the earth form or the physical.
Q Approximately how many women were there who had followed Him?
S Forty.
Q How can we use the Spirit to help us overcome the world both mentally and physically?
S Now, as we have given earlier, understand that which is meant by Spirit. Only Spirit is Oneness, the Truth. The spirit ye seek of lies within self, is that which is the I AM, or even the personification of that which is the action of the Father, or that which is the breath of the Father in action, see, misunderstood by those early peoples, even the Hebrews, who gave name, Jehovah, to that which is a personality, not realizing this is only the action, and not the Father. Therefore, the action within self, the I AM, can be brought forth through becoming more that which is the Christ of self or the idea or the truth of self through mercy, love, forgiveness. becoming more that which is the Christ of self, or the idea or the truth of self that God has of you, even as Jesus became the Christ, became that which is, in truth, the perfect man, the perfect thought, which is of God, which God sees self, thyself. Jesus became that. Then aim self at this, finding not fault with others; finding love, forgiveness–for what did He do on that day? “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” This is the guiding light of self: Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” And as a second thought: “Mercy, Father, mercy. Though I have sinned, I see the light.” [10-8]
Luke 23:50-56
And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just: (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God. This man went unto Pilate and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments: and rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.
S You have the recognition of the part that is played in the resurrection, or Joseph, you see, of Arimathea, who had a specific duty to perform, who waited and had been told by Jesus (for they were acquainted) of the part he would play. Though the doubting mind of the entity felt that because Jesus was the Christ, would not truly be crucified – was devastated mentally, a wreck physically, but because of the promise and the deep love of Jesus, the entity did go about that which was planned for him to do. Even as the women, the loyalty that followed Jesus, prepared the spices and herbs to be used in that which was the embalming process, or processes, as practiced by the wealthier Jews of the time.
Q Was Joseph of Arimathea the individual who drew the symbol on Christ’s brow like, an open box?
S He did part of it.
Q Was Nicodemus the other?
S Nicodemus was the other.
Q Can you tell us what that symbol means?
S The Jews, or those who had been trained into the higher understandings or the secrets as practiced at that time, realized that the escape (or as they termed the escape) for the soul was through that which were the two higher centers of the body, symbolized the same upon that which was the forehead as being the door or the gateway to that which would be termed loosely by yourselves, the route to heaven.
Q Were there coins placed on His eyes?
S In the tradition of the Jews of that day, coins were placed upon the eyes. For those who could afford it – gold; for those who could not afford such a high – silver; and for those who could only afford the coppers, coppers were used.
Q Are the scientists correct in believing that the coins used were ones minted by Pontius Pilate over a period of three years? Are they correct in what they think they see on the shroud?
S They are correct. They were placed there, not haphazardly or by coincidence, but because it was deemed correct, and is correct even at this time, that in (or as of then) the time of the future when more would be released as to that which is the truth for those who would find the truth or found it necessary to go through that which were such things. And even to that which was the sindon, or in time to come the return of the robe to its proper place on viewing, was necessary for some to understand, you see, through this process, where for others only the bearing of the word of the tale is necessary, or the teachings through even such outlets as this are necessary. So anyway, that which is the further proof, as scientists would give it credit or credibility, is necessary.
