Luke 5: Application of Metaphysical InsightsThis document is an extensive metaphysical and spiritual interpretation of the fifth chapter of the Gospel of Luke. It discusses Application of Metaphysical Insights, focusing on their deeper symbolic meanings and relevance to personal spiritual growth and understanding. The material explores themes such as faith, spiritual awakening, and the application of Christ’s teachings in daily life.

Luke 5:1

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

S This is the cleansing place. This is the waters of the living God. And when you, self, need through prayer to be fed, to be watered, this is the living waters that will fulfill. And when others are drawn to self, this is the reservoir of love, patience, mercy, long-suffering, and understanding that you may draw from, that those others may be cleansed.

Luke 5:2-3

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

S The ships represent the physical-mental and the mental-spiritual. And this is the symbol of finding those who, by their deeds, by their efforts, who through prayer and meditation, have opened themselves up. And which does He choose, but that which will become faith.

Luke 5:4-6

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, “launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.” And Simon answering said unto him, “Master, we have toiled all the night, and taken nothing: nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net.” And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

S This is the seining of the human souls. Even as the fishermen seine, so you must seine within yourself, and gather that which are the parts of self together that may be fed, that may be housed, that may be clothed. Even as fish are the symbol of the Christ way, even as fish are the symbol of the renewing force of Christ, the feeding, even as those who had toiled on their own could not do it, they could, through the Christ, through God’s love and mercy. You may do it with others, but first do it in self, guided by the Light which is the Christ.

Luke 5:7-9

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

S Peter, you see, is so representational of the human individual. For, in truth, the great fear in Peter was that his prayer and his meditation were about to be answered. For Peter did not want to leave the life he loved, the things that meant so much to him. But when he saw the deeds, even as the individual sees the deeds, once prayer and meditation met, there was no turning back.

And now we give that which is love, blessings, truth, mercy, and forgiveness. So may the Light guide thee, may the Love kindle thee, and may the Spirit lead you on your way, that you, too, may know the glory of the Father through the deeds done through selves in His name. Amen. Amen.

Prayer – Channel

Our Father-Mother God, once again we come before You seeking to see and know that which is the way and the light – not for ourselves, Father, but for others. For we follow that which has been given to us, “Others first, others first.” For we would pattern ourselves in the manner of the Master, Jesus, who is our Savior, our Light, and our Way. We ask, then, Lord that Thy love, Thy wisdom pour forth as You know is best, Father.

Rejoice! Rejoice! In the name of the Lord, rejoice! Fill thy minds, fill thy bodies, yes, fill thy souls with the voice and the force of the love of God. Awaken to that which is the knowledge of the past, the present, and the future. For as you go now, so is that which is the future determined and the past rectified. Be bold! Be faithful! Be true! Lift your hearts up unto the Lord that they may be cleansed. For sin is the lot of every being. For you have been given free will and have used it to the destructive. And yet, how else can you learn? How else can you rejoice? For rejoicing is that which is the salvation. Be not afraid. Cast aside doubts. Throw away criticism. Yes, rejoice in the Word of God. For He has come; He is come; He will come. He has promised to return to you in the manner that you may understand and know and, yet, He has never left you. For you were given that which is the Holy Comforter, the way, a door. You hold the key, so unlock the door. How often have you been told to cleanse yourselves, but you know not how. You make the attempt, and the attempt is that which does give you the key. For the cleansing is not for selves but for the power of love, for that fire that will burn the drosses from the minds and the bodies and, yes, the souls. For the sword of the Holy Spirit is raised on high. Rejoice in that which is given. Rejoice in that which is the sacrifice. For what is sacrifice but that which is just and right and in the honor of God. Behold that which is the Way. Behold the Truth, the Light, and the Way which does bless you, will bless you, and is the salvation of these peoples, these times

Q It was said that we should be cleansing ourselves, but we don’t know how. Is there anything you could tell us that would help us with this?

S As you seek in that which is your own heart, the answer will come. For each and every individual cleanses self in a separate but equal manner. For each has a certain path, even as an individual resides on the ray level (though that is not of main importance), each has that which is more essential or most essential for the individual to overcome or to wash away. Remember, as you live in the Light, as He the Prince of Love, Jesus, you will find which comes to you will be as of the cleansing itself. Have no fear. The answers come, even if you do not realize, for putting yourself in the hands of the Christ solves the problems [10-69]

Luke 5:10-11

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, “Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.” And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

S The forces that gather within an individual, as called forth by the Christ, then go forward by acts, rather than the words, of the individual or individuals involved, to be that which gathers in fellow travelers, fellow searchers. For it is in the living of the way that you do truly become fishers – fishermen of men, fishermen of women, fishermen for the world. As the Christ calls, put aside the world, and yet be in the world, for this is your duty.

Q Please clarify this statement, “As the Christ calls, put aside the world, and yet, be in the world for this is your duty.”

S Putting aside of the world is putting aside of that which holds you to the world: possessions, ego, selfishness, vanity. And well it has been said, “all is vanity.” When you put this aside, you must still remain within this realm, this world, that you, too, then may be a savior, that you, too, then may be as a guide, a signpost, a helping hand. Yes, it is your duty; you have selected it. That is why you have come through this position into this world, rather than going through other ways, other realms, other paths. [10-105]

S . . . Jesus Christ is thy Savior and regardless of whence your wisdom, your knowledge comes, the guiding light is ever the path, the blueprint of Jesus Christ, thy Savior, Who gave of Himself, Who descended from heaven (and make no mistake about that) into the material world. A sacrifice there, and a sacrifice of Himself as an individual in the crucifixion. For even as Jesus the Christ learned in the material, you see, even as you must learn in the material that you are mind, body, and spirit–and being in this plane none can reign–not the mind, not the body, not the spirit. It must be in balance. Were you of another plane, elsewhere, one or the other would rule and be that which was in predominance. But here you must find that which is mind, body, and spirit in conjunction. For only in that time that the Master of Life was perplexed as a mind and body, was when the balance was broken, and the spirit was taken from them to become one with the Lord thy God [10-30]

Luke 5:12-15

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.” And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying,  “I will: be thou clean.” And immediately the leprosy departed from him. And he charged him to tell no man: “but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.” But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

S That which in yourself is the wayward self, that which is the dross of the body, the mind, which are the deeds of selfishness, is that which is the leper. Then as the call comes, so is the cleansing within yourself. And as was given, claim not that for yourselves, nor advertise how it came about, but by your very actions, your very outlook, your very deeds, so shall the fame of that which is the Christ be spread. He asked not for Himself; the deeds showed Who and what was. Therefore, in your actions, rather than in your words, your rhetoric, is that which proves to self and to others who and what you are.

Luke 5:16

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

S This, is the wilderness as given: that which is the bewilderment, that which must be the facing within yourself of the truth by going into that which is meditation, by withdrawing from the forces and effects of the outside world, by seeking that which is the inner light, the path of peace, the quiet shelter, the source of love and food and thought, rejuvenation, and in a sense reincarnation of that which is the soul force.

Q What is meant by “reincarnation of the soul force?”

S Has not your soul and soul force been bound even as your personality developing has been bound and returned, bound and returned? Then does not your soul force, your soul, have the opportunity, too, to rebound, to re-enter, to reawaken, to be given a new chance?

Q We were given earlier that Jesus had times of self-doubt. At what point in His life did this occur?

S In the wilderness and on the cross. Those were times of doubt. [10-130]

Luke 5:17

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

S Even the doubts, even the misguided, even that which is tradition, comes forth to face the awakening of the Lord’s day. Whether it be from others, or from self, it is present. When awakened within yourself, the spiritual forces will meet that which are the acts of denial, the desperate efforts of that which is the awakened awareness of that which is the selfishness, and even so, it will be in others around you. Therefore, prepare yourself for the great battle that lies within. And yet, the battle itself means peace, is peace. For, as you call upon that which is the will of God, the Christ Force, the Holy Spirit, so then the battle is determined. Whether you know the victories or not, the forces of love and good and light know same.

Luke 5:18-20

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, “Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.”

S A better word here is paralyzed. For this is symbolmatic, you see, of the paralysis within yourself, being that which is the spiritual nature of self being brought forward by the will, by the mind, by the actions of self in the training that the spiritual force of self may be freed from its paralyzed state, that, physically, the endocrine system may be decalcified and made pure, that by faith all things are made whole. By faith you save that which is your right, that which is your creative, that which is the light that has been given to you. In faith you will save yourself by becoming the beacon for others to be guided by, that they, too, may find Jesus the Christ, the Light and the Way.

Q By what age does the endocrine system become calcified?

S Any age will do.

Q Is it calcified at birth?

S Oh, yes. Some are born with calcified systems, part of that which is the karmic order of things.

Luke 5:21-22

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?” But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, “What reason ye in your hearts?”

S Remember this: you cannot hide your thoughts from God. For to God all things are thoughts. You cannot hide your thoughts from yourself, though you think you can. For each thought is stored in that which is the recording system of the subconscious mind and blazed upon that which are the tablets of the endocrine system, that which are the akashic records, and is like a beacon, or that which you would consider an electric light, or an electric billboard for all those enlightened to see. Therefore, the cleansing of the thoughts must be. But remember, as you reach the point of understanding you realize that all that has been given you within this world, in effect, is good, and it is the understanding of the deeds that makes all deeds, in respect, good..

Q When we repudiate a thought, does that erase it?

S No, but it balances it.

Luke 5:23-25

“Whether it  is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.” And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

S And the truth shall set you free. For the truth is the Christ. The truth is the Way. And you, too, may get off that couch, that bed that you have made for yourself and be about thy Father’s business in the true manner, the true way, which is the attitude of the cleansed. And what was the attitude of the cleansed but glorifying God. Then put to yourself how can you glorify God and what to you is the glorifying of God.

Luke 5:26

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things to day.”

S All that is new, all that is bold to selves, is a frightening thing to at least one part of your nature. Even those that are enraptured by that which are the awakening forces find that which is the fear within themselves. It is the fear that comes from losing that which is the developed personality. It is that inborn, taught thing. Therefore, do not object to that which you would consider fear, because you may, as you grow, cast aside that which is fear. Remember, fear is the absence of love, and God’s love is never absent. Therefore, as you become more bold in the ways of the Lord, in the search, you will realize His presence, and fear will vanish of itself.

Luke 5:27-28

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, “Follow me.” And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

S Even (as) that which is the tax collector, or that which is of this world, bound by the laws of this world, bound by that which is the tradition of mankind, the traditions that have been bestowed upon these centuries of time, may be put aside by that which is the beckoning, the call. For whether it be physical or mental, the spiritual will overcome. Have faith. For faith made Levi get up, and walk, and follow. You, too, within yourselves and your daily lives, must become as Levi, though living in this world, truly not of this world, and realizing the riches and wonders of this world are at your beck and call to be used correctly. Not that it is the goal to be wealthy, to be powerful, but cast not aside that which comes to you, but use it wisely, receive it correctly, seek it positively, that it may not be a selfish tool of destruction.

Luke 5:29

And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

S When you declare the Lord by your actions, by your deeds, and reap that which is of the light, you will gather, and ask to gather, those of all faiths. It happens within yourself. The past of self becomes the present. The actions of the present come forward. The thoughts, the deeds become as that which are called to the banquet. Then be prepared to accept that which is the Lord.

Luke 5:30-32

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?” And Jesus answering said unto them, “they that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

S And few there are that are not sinners. Therefore, regardless of position, or that which you think you have attained, remember: none has attained to the level of that which is the Christ. Only He of Nazareth, Jesus, has earned that which is the title of Christ. Therefore, throw aside criticism and doubt, for they are of the past, the anchors that hold you back. Lift up your hearts, for the Lord is bountiful. Love is plentiful. Even has He has given before, “take and eat.” For His body is love. His body is repentance. He is the cleansed One. You may be saved in this manner.

Luke 5:33-34

And they said unto him, “why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?” And he said unto them, “can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?”

S John’s people were of the love of this earth. Who can hold back that which is the love that is not of this earth, that is the true, humanless love, the true light of love? For it is joy and fulfillment not bound by the laws of this world, yet using that which is the fullness of this earth in the correct and perfect manner. Therefore, the wealth, the bounty of the earth, is as much a key in its correct usage as prayer, yes prayer, for those who are of the spirit.

Luke 5:35

“But the days will come when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.”

S Even as His disciples did fast (mainly in the spirit), so the time of cleansing comes within yourselves when the awareness of what you have put between you and the Christ (and what a heavy yoke you put upon His shoulders) will call for the spiritual to fast, even as the body would fast.

Luke 5:36

And he spake also a parable unto them; “No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.”

S Here the meaning is: when you call upon that which is the Christ, when you truly become dedicated to the way, you do not patch your old self, you do not graft to your old self the new bits, the new limbs, the new way. But you cast aside the old and become the new, lest you become nothing at all but that which is as a house divided, which will fall.

Luke 5:37

“And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.”

S But remember this: you must become well aware of the way and the method before you throw yourself into a new life. For even as given, a new garment cannot be sewn to the old but it may be put in the closet until it is proper to use same. For how often have people acted as old and new wine, receiving that which is heady as wine, and yet not in fullness of body as old wine, and throw themselves away and waste and become sour as new wine. Therefore, you must pray and meditate upon the way, and develop that which is the new into the old, so you, too, may be seasoned, and then put on the new garment.

Luke 5:38

“But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.”

S As given, the new must age in the proper manner. Therefore, the thoughts, the deeds, must be tempered and grow, even as the aging process for wine.

Luke 5:39

No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

S Once you have developed that which is correct; once you know the wisdom; once you are rejuvenated and have developed that which is the correct manner you will proceed. And that which is not proper will be put aside, and that which is perfected, as old wine, will be the way and the path for you, through that which is self-development, as guided by the inner light, by the light and love of the Christ.

Q Is this yoke that we have placed upon Him our ego?

S All misdeeds are from the ego. This is the ego that is selfishness. Don’t mistake it for a personality. For selfishness is a shroud about that which is a real personality. Often, because of the leaning of your psychologists and psychiatrists, people are misled by this term.
