The document is an in-depth analysis of Luke Chapter 9 from the Bible, focusing on its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It covers Apostles’ Mission and Spiritual Journey of Discipleship; various events including the sending out of the twelve apostles, the feeding of the five thousand, Peter’s confession of Christ, and the Transfiguration. The material delves into themes such as divine authority, faith, the nature of Jesus’ mission, and the spiritual journey of discipleship.
Luke 9:1-2
Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
S Within yourself, when you can and do become aware, especially through that moment in meditation, and live the life in the Christ, then He will call within you those twelve positions that cleanse, that control, that will rejuvenate your body – your body world. And throughout that which are the galaxies, the worlds, the universe of yourself, will be proclaimed the day of the Lord, in Him that is Jesus the Christ, who comes again to restore the world to order, to place.
S This is where the Roman Catholic Church got it from. For in the early mystery religions, were well aware of that which is the spiritual nature of the body. And in that which is termed the Essene times, and the times of early Christianity, there was the awareness and the use, not only of the terms but of the positioning of the body within, the sectioning of the body first by those centers – the six lower centers – doubling themselves because of the nature of the human body being a duplicate system or bilateral system of having left and right sides, dorsal and ventral. Then you have the master, which is the seventh (not being bilateral, you see, but being more to one side than the other, and being beyond that which is the body functioning as one thing), is now the earned or the proper positioning. For the twelve, being the six lower centers, were those to be overcome so that the seventh center would be enthroned, enlightened, or (a better term) released or opened up.
Q The two hemispheres of the brain–are they representative then of the two halves of one of the centers?
S Absolutely. [10-105]
Luke 9:3-5
And he said unto them, “Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them”.
S You cannot force yourself, for that is destructive. But by the understanding, by the truth, you must open up yourself to that which is the Word. You cannot force your neighbor, your child, your spouse. You cannot force your parent or the stranger. It must be upon the needs and the request of the individual that the God Force, the Christ, is accepted. Otherwise, you must move away. You cannot force yourself to accept. You cannot lie to yourself. For forcing yourself to accept is a lie. For mind must be convinced by the spiritual necessities that arise within the soul force of the individual. It cannot be otherwise. And upon the rising within, or the raising of the needs of the spirit, comes that which we have spoken of before, as that which is the balance of the will in using the spiritual-mental body, and the mental-physical body, and the spiritual-mental being of the true nature of self into a balanced entity. As given so often as of old, the spirit is the fulcrum that balances the mind-body, the physical mind-body with all that goes on within your sphere of influence, your own being, and the billions upon billions of worlds that lie within. For you are an awesome object abuilding. Seek the Master of Life, that you may build correctly and aright.
Luke 9:6-8
And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere. Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead; And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.
S That person was more horrified and full of fear than perplexed. For the entity was of mental and physical torment, was of a war within self. For the spirit, the soul of the entity was horrified of the role it had played – not the soul playing it, but the entity (or that aspect of the entity) which was the physical, mental, willful, selfish man, the entity who was afraid to sleep because of the dreams, for fear of the retribution that was to come. For that entity did believe in God. Therefore, let not yourself doubt. Therefore, let yourself not go astray from the paths of righteousness that you know to be. It is all well and good to rationalize this or that, but let your heart tell you what is right and what is best. Do not let yourself be overcome by the material world. Yes, you must live in it. Yes, you must be in it. Yes, you must experience it and grow to understand it. But do not become overcome by the physical world. This entity had fear. And as so often given, fear is the absence of love. For love was the difference in this man’s existence.
Q Is it possible for one aspect to believe in God while another aspect of the same soul does not?
S Correct. You may have many aspects going one way or the other.
Q Can the aspects be considered to be children of the soul?
S That, well, it would be a distortion in a sense – more like nerves, or nerve fibers radiating out from a central core, or brain cells surrounding the main body of the brain, or that which joins to the spinal column of self – more or less.
Luke 9:9
And Herod said, “John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things?” And he desired to see him.
S In truth, he did not mean John as a body being beheaded, but that which in himself knew what John was, and that which John was fulfilling. The fear in this one was that Jesus was He that John had spoken of, and the fear was that he must then reckon with his own self before God.
Luke 9:10-11
And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
S Wherever you go in your life, you go before others. Your actions, your very words should be even as the Master of Life at this time, who became a walking, talking, acting, loving extension of God the Father; became, in fact, the perfect man, allowing God to assume His true being among mankind in a form understandable and measurable by man. So you may become, too. Be diligent, be loving, kind; be merciful and long suffering. Be a help to your fellow man in the Christ manner, the Christ way. You will be received by those, even as Jesus was received. Those that would find you, those who would use that which comes through you, will be waiting. Fear not, for even as He, the Lord of Love, was overwhelmed by the vast numbers, you, too, may be overwhelmed by the needs of mankind. By overwhelming we do not mean to be destroyed, to be taxed. For overwhelming, here, is joy.
Luke 9:12-15
And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.” But he said unto them, “Give ye them to eat”. And they said, “We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people. For there were about five thousand men.” And he said to his disciples, “Make them sit down by fifties in a company”. And they did so and made them all sit down.
S And they, though proclaiming them, doubted the ability of themselves to fulfill the needs of others. And in the proclaiming, they did then go to that which are the spiritual centers of themselves as they had been taught. And He instructed, not by word of mouth, but through that which is the spiritual center of each and every individual, yours too, at that time and now, what to do. Their faith then became strengthened and caused the deeds to be done. For without word, or without visible action, all were divided and seated as instructed.
Q Was this how He gave them the power and authority to cure the sick, to heal the sick?
S He gave it to those that opened up and knew the path, the way, and accepted Him. For, you see, there were many who were given the path and the way, the authority, yes, but doubted. Even those things they saw performed before themselves, doubted Him, or doubted their ability and could not accept Him working through them even, and therefore, lost at that time, only then to return again and again to seek that which is the use of the force of the Master.
Q Does the statement, “He took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up heaven…”have anything to do with looking up through the seven centers?
S We have rather a distorted physical concept here. One might say this is correct, if you were using that which is the eye that is not physical. What was happening here is the Christ center was looking up (because you do not look down to God, you must look up always) for God is above all things. Therefore, this is that which was occurring. God is not a proctologist and does not go from that which is the lower to the higher.
Q If one believes that God and I are one, how is it possible for people to become ill?
S First, they have not attained to that which is the truth of what they say they believe. They have not overcome the illusion that they live in, or they may not have reached that which is the overcoming, or the knowing, or the receiving of that which is the opportunity that is given to self or others through that which is illness. Sometimes, you see, illness is a blessing – whether you know it or not.
Q It was stated that the twelve doubted their own abilities even though Jesus had taught them the use of the five lower centers as well as the higher centers. However, they did proclaim them and went to the spiritual centers of themselves. Jesus, without speaking, instructed them through the spiritual center of each one what to do. Their faith was thus strengthened and caused the deeds to be done. All were seated. Did Jesus, in the same manner, work through the twelve to cause the multiplying of the loaves and fishes so that the five thousand were fed?
S Yes and no. It was already ordained and would be so. Therefore, it would be so. And yet He worked, as given, through those. And so, yes, He did and no, He didn’t. For He had already taken care of that which would be the feeding. And yes, He worked through them and they saw the working through them. This goes hand in glove, you see, with time and space. It’s like having half your body in one place and half your body in another place, being conscious of both, working with one hand in one place while the other hand is working in another place at the same time, and constructing the same thing and handing it across. And as it crosses, it becomes one. We wish we could make it more clear, but that’s the best we can do at this time.
Q What did the Source mean by the twelve proclaiming the spiritual centers of themselves?
S This was then, coming before the God within themselves and not just proclaiming, saying they believe, but pronouncing the fact. For it was a fact to them that this was all so, that they were in harmony with the forces of God, that Jesus was the Master Conductor, that they were the music and would play their piece. To proclaim in this fashion is to have that awareness not only in the mind and those subconscious minds, but in the minds and memories of the cell bodies the entire vibrational pattern of the entities as a whole. That means that it reverberates through that which are the untold realms where those other aspects are. It is that clarion call that awakens the spiritual nature over a thousand generations, a thousand places, a thousand individuals for that moment of oneness, that time of growth, that time of expanding, the time of attuning, in tune to the harmony, the melody of the Christ force.
Q Would that be called the height of divine love at its apex?
S For the physical mind or the physical realm, yes. But the height–well, you would have to experience it to know it. It is like comparing one of your sulphur matches, or matches to that which is the sun. In total darkness the flare of the match is awe inspiring; but in the total darkness of space (or darkness as you would see it) the sun is magnificent. So each has its place, each has it beauty. But you can’t compare them really. [10-105]
Luke 9:16-17
Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they did eat and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.
S The individual body may achieve and have that which to give forth, to carry away, to pass on to others. The multitudes or the nations can do same. As individuals begin to feed others through that which is the spiritual use of the Christ Force, then there will be that which is a chain reaction of sorts in the spiritual sense. For the more that are fed, the more will be fed.
Q Does the statement, “He took the five loaves and the two fishes and looking up to heaven.” have anything to do with looking up through the seven centers?
S We have rather a distorted physical concept here. One might say this is correct, if you were using that which is the eye that is not physical. What was happening here is the Christ center was looking up (because you do not look down to God, you must look up always) for God is above all things. Therefore, this is that which was occurring. God is not a proctologist and does not go from that which is the lower to the higher. [10-105]
Luke 9:18-20
And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am? They answering said, “John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again”. He said unto them, “But whom say ye that I am?” Peter answering said, “The Christ of God”.
S And when you reach this step, this place, that you recognize the I AM, the Christ of God, and that voice that calls to you from within asking you; and when you recognize your place, God’s place, and the scheme of God’s creation, you, too, may become that which is the rock, the pillar of faith, that which is the moving force, that which is love, that which is as the shining jewel among the sand, that which can, and be. That which is you in truth.
Luke 9:21-22
And he straitly charged them and commanded them to tell no man that thing; Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
S For all of you within yourselves must have these things happen to you before you can achieve, before you can rid yourself of the material plane. For He rid Himself. Though He returns again, it is for the benefit, the blessing of His brothers, His sisters. You, too, may have the opportunity, first within yourselves and then among your brothers and sisters.

Beloved Creator, Father-Mother God, humbly we come before you as Thy children, Father, seeking Your love, Your way, asking to be used, to understand, to be the tools, the help, always knowing, though, Father, it is Your will, not ours, Your way, not ours that will be done. Help us, Father, to be as He, Jesus the Christ, our Elder Brother, that we, too, may show Your love to our fellow beings.

Into the world of mankind comes that which is the Light and the Word. And yet, who can receive, who can appreciate? It is for those that would seek the Light, the Way, that the Love is manifested into the spiritual understanding, that the actions of the individuals may show that which is the spirit in action. For it is in action rather than words that God is manifested by the individuals to others. Therefore, rejoice within yourself at the opportunities and realize that the trials and tribulations of life are but the opportunities presented to the individuals who would be about their Father’s business, who would break the wheel, who would lift the brother, the sister, and who would be as the child of God.
Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me”.
S In the denying of self does not mean to lose yourself, or discard yourself, or throw away those privileges or opportunities that come as an intellectual being. For it is through the use of the intellect and the acknowledgment of your being as an entity with a mind, a body, and a soul, that the spiritual force is manifested. If you would follow the Prince of Love, then disregard that which is the selfishness, the selflessness that would lead away, and find the selfishness, the selflessness that is of God. For as you begin to search, it is a selfish search to rid yourself of that which are the negative influences. And as you seek in God’s name, for God’s purpose, then the selfishness of the situation becomes that which is the selflessness. It cannot be as a stroke of lightning unless an entity has earned that through the opportunities that have come before in other times and places. Therefore, criticize not those who seem to be in a selfish search. For you, too, in your time and place, even now, can be that entity that is in the selfish stage. And yet, realize it is but a stage to be passed through ’till all things are put aside, and then God is the prominent force within the life.
Luke 9:24
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
S Often this has been given; often it has been pointed as the way: that to throw aside that which is the self-centered, egotistical self, and work in the manner of Jesus the Christ, patterning self in the image of Him that became the Light, the Way, the Breaker of the Wheel, so as you become one in thought and deed with the Master of Love, Jesus the Christ, so you assume the mantle, and then you have taken up His cross. For it is the symbol of the crucifixion of the negative side of self, the negative thinking of self, the forces of individualism rather than that which is the oneness of God.
Luke 9:25
For what is man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
S The material plane is naught. You cannot subdue the entity, Earth. You may live with it and on it and immerse yourself in it. You cannot subdue it. For it has its way, its path, even as you. Therefore, become that element that is here within this earth plane to learn, to free self from that which is the material, putting the earth in its place, and that which is the spiritual superbly in its place.
Luke 9:26
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s and of the holy angels.
S The shame is that which is knowledge not used. For the lack of wisdom is the shame. If an entity has had no previous experience, has not been exposed to that which is the spiritual way, the spiritual path, there is no shame. But the shame lies in that which is the knowledge, as said, unused – therefore wisdom not developed, opportunity lost – that is the shame. Remember, as you shame Him, you have shamed yourself, for He lives and lies within self. Ye cannot escape the force of love, the Christ at work, nor can you hide from that which is the Holy Spirit. Therefore, live in the attitude and idea that He is ever present, and He is mindful of you. This, will change the thinking, the pattern of actions. For actions are greater than the word.
Luke 9:27
But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
S This is twofold. There are those privileged enough to know, you see, from that time forth, who and what they are, who and what the Christ is, how the Holy Spirit works, and what God is, and where God is – unbroken memory, unbroken awareness. But there are also those, you see, who live in the same and then cannot taste death of self (which is the selfish self, the unused knowledge, the unbuilded wisdom) until the time of the seeing of heaven, the place of the dwelling of the Holy Spirit; and then that which is the negative is the death, or dies, and then the true being emerges.
Q Is the selfish self the same as the ego?
S The ego – not as the psychiatrist or the psychologist knows it – but that which would be more termed to the understanding as the perceptive personality that perceives the material world, acts and has reaction in same, rather than that which has the spiritual perfection or understanding, and allows not that which is the material experience to color the spiritual. And realizes the place is on this plane for the material-mental being to adjust and work with that which is the spiritual. One cannot live without the other.
Luke 9:28-31
And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
S The first entity to come to that which is the true sacrifice made known to mankind here. For you faced that of Moses, being that which is the bodily man, the bodily understanding, the material; Elias, or Elijah, is that which is as the mental use and understanding of man’s character; whereas Christ Jesus being that which is the spiritual man released, forming the triad that every individual that comes into this earth plane must realize and work within. All work from these three stages, one at a time, until all three have been perfected, forming then the perfect triangle, to give, as Jesus became, the vehicle for release from the earthly bondage.
Q Does this mean that both Moses and Elijah were aspects of one master soul?
S In this case they were mirroring, mirroring that which is to be seen in all souls, as given by the entity who is the questioner as a master soul, not of the same soul, you see, but as found in all souls. For as aspects fragmentize themselves and have the opportunities of becoming drawn together into a multiplicity in forming larger individual souls to face greater reckoning and building towards that which is the return to the greater soul. The symbol, being that which is given as the mind, the body, and the spirit. The three seen here were not in reality of the same soul but depict that which was being illustrated to mankind.
Q Projections?
S More or less. More substance than a projection. Difficult to explain to the mind or the minds on the levels that are found in the earth plane.
Luke 9:32-34
But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias”: not knowing what he said. While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
S There can be no substitute, nor can any entity, or title, or multiplicity of same be on the level of the Christ. Even man, as awakened from the sleep that separates mankind from the spiritual and the greater understanding, cannot perceive the greatness of the force of God, of love, of the spirit. Therefore, even the enlightened that are in the earth cannot experience or understand that which is the truth of the Christ. For this is the meaning of these passages. Even coming from the slumber of unbelief, of separation from that which is all that is holy, and even seeing those things which most of the plane cannot see, hearing that which most cannot hear, understanding what most cannot understand, is still being lost and away from that which is the true beauty of God. It’s a start. But even as Moses in his time could not understand the burning bush, even as Peter could not understand what he meant or what he said in dedicating the tabernacles, so you as individuals cannot understand the workings of God. But let not that dim your enthusiasm or deter you from your purpose. For here a little, there a little, stone upon stone, so you build your pyramid, that you, too, can reach to that point that aims at the heart of your being, your knowledge, your release.
Luke 9:35-36
And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son: hear him” And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.
S And as the opportunity comes within the life of each individual, and though you see, and though you hear it, and though you understand to a degree, and in doing all of these things, realize in the truth how little you do know, how little you do see, how little you hear, or understand, then go to that which He, the Creator, has given – His Son, the Christ, – and you, too, will be well pleased. For in truth, He did say that His yoke was light. Therefore, put it on. Strive in that which is the seeking and understanding to your degree, to your level, and find that which is the contentment of same, for those who cannot find contentment but submerge themselves in unhappiness, frustration.
Luke 9:37-40
And it came to pass that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him. And behold, a man of that company cried out, saying, “Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son for he is mine only child. And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again and bruising him hardly departeth from him. And I besought thy disciples to cast him out; and they could not.”
S This is selves. Thou art both the father and the child. You call upon that which you see within yourself, or suspect, or know to be, or even ignore. But as you call out for the Master of Life and Love to come into your house, to come into your life, it is to overcome that which are the seizures, that which is, as given, the sickness that lies within. This is the seeking of the cure. This is that which is the first step to facing the fact that you are both spiritual and mental, captured with the physical, and that all must be put at peace and rest that you may find the way and the worship and the place.
Luke 9:41-43
And Jesus answering said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither. “And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father. And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,
S The release in self of the knowledge that, in truth, all are filled with that which you would term sin, the missing of the mark, the unholiness, the uncleanliness, is that which allowed the spirit of the Christ to work. For it is in the acknowledging of the Christ and the faith in the Christ that will tear from you your multitudes of sins, or that which are the negative factors that your subconscious holds within, that your karmic centers hold within. And they become that which, in truth, they are, the illusions that may be cast aside, that you may join with the Master, the Love, the Prince of Heaven, and that which is the journey to meet the Lord thy God. It is not easily done, and it must be done in faith, in love. And yet, fear not, for even the greatest have trembled; even the greatest have stumbled; even the greatest have had the fear and, yet have overcome same.
Luke 9:44-45
“Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men”. But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
S You all have been given the Word, the Light, the Love. You have been given the action in one stage or another. For the Christ has been given and has “been sunk down in man.” Would you open yourselves and let the spirit come forth? For God has delivered that which is your deliverance to you. He lies within to be used. Then open up selves that the spirit of the Lord, the Holy Spirit, and the Christ within may form the union that releases all from bondage, from the chains of the earth, from the ego, the selfishness, from the mire that ye have fallen into. The opportunity is here. The place is here. The time is now. The way is now. Use it.
Luke 9:46-48
Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him. And said unto them, “Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.”
S In the receiving of the child, you have that which is the receiving of the responsibility to train, to protect, to build, to feed that individual. And it is the same with the seeking for the place, the seeking for the door, the seeking for the path, for the light, for the truth, for love. It must be nurtured, defended, built upon, loved, guided. This is your job, and He, the Christ, is ever present to help you. Therefore, fear not.
Luke 9:49-50
And John answered and said, “Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us”. And Jesus said unto him,” Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us. “
S All that would do the will of God may not perceive it in the same way, nor yet be upon the same path. Therefore, condemn not, for those you may condemn may be those upon the path. And criticize not. For whose path is identical? None. There is but one way and that is through the Christ. And yet, there are many ways for one to build to that which is the acceptance of the Christ. Therefore, degrade not, criticize not, but find love and peace. For remember, those negative things, or as you in your time and place would have them be negative, are as boomerangs, and return to the sender.
Luke 9:51-54
And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?”
S In those peoples, the Samaritans, were seen by the people of those days (even as you see people today) as those who were beyond God’s chosen, who are the lower, the outcast, the nothing. They are those who would see the snub in those who would seek God. Even as Jesus’ face was turned toward Jerusalem, so Jerusalem is that which is the seeking within yourself, or the place of seeking that where the Holy of Holies lies. That is as turning from the mores, the standards of the day. And yes, you too shall be, will be, or have been snubbed, or seen as that which should be snubbed, or thrown aside, or not given due to what you do. And then those who have done same will feel as their due has not been given, that they have been snubbed. In short, they will be even as the Samaritans saw themselves, and saw others to be.
Luke 9:55-56
But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, “Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” And they went to another village.
S For the Christ would not change them, not one whit, not one iota, not one bit. He could have changed their minds, their ways, by forcing it upon them. And yet, they would not have accomplished. And if He had done so, would that not [have] been opposite of the God of love and mercy and patience? Therefore, He would have rebuked Himself for being at odds with the Lord of peace and mercy. There would not have been freedom of choice. Therefore, in yourselves, do not the same to others, as were called upon to have done to them in that place and time. No, not even to yourself can you force yourself to be as the Christian, the follower of Jesus. It must be that which is sought after from the inside of your being, and on remembering that you must incorporate the mental with the physical, not letting either override the other on the assumption of one being greater than the other, but allow them equal task. For it is wrong to prod too much with the mind, or too little with the mind, too much with the spirit, or too little with the spirit. It is the blending and the balancing that brings that which is the success.
Luke 9:57-58
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, “Lord, I will follow thee withersoever thou goest. “And Jesus said unto him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.”
S There is not one place that is not home to God. There is not one place that the Christ can stop at rest. For there must be that which is the activity of the Holy Spirit moving forth throughout all things. You, too, on accepting that which is the Christ must begin the journey, knowing that everywhere you go is the home of God, not one place better than the other, that you cannot rest in any place. For you must be about thy Father’s business. That does not mean to say that you must travel, travel, travel. For it means that everywhere you go, in every waking moment, is a place where you are bringing the Holy Spirit. For as you do this, the Christ within does communicate with the Christ without, or that which is the Holy Spirit, the action.
Luke 9:59-60
And he said unto another, “Follow me. “But he said, “Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father”. Jesus said unto him, “Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God”.
S Wherever you go, in and about this world, wherever you go, your actions should bespeak louder than the words. For the preachment of God is within the actions. There is no detouring; there is no letting be; there is only that which is the action, the persevering, that which is the living. For you cannot go into that which is the dead, or even cast aside the dead. For the world is dead without your spirit. For all things are dead without the communication of the spirit. Even as Peter slept and was awakened by the glory of God as manifested in Jesus the Christ, so then those that are dead may be resurrected through the actions of the individuals in their assuming of the rightful place and role as spiritual beings.
Luke 9:61-62
And another also said, “Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house”. And Jesus said unto him,” No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
S So often there has been misunderstanding of this statement. And there are layers of spiritual interpretation. At this time, it means: once you have made the commitment, regardless of how you live, regardless of what you do, or how many lives have passed, you have and cannot turn back from that which is the plow, or the spiritual undertaking. Once the foot has been placed upon the path, you are on your way. It may take longer for some than others. It may appear as if you have lost, or they have lost. And yet, that one step, that one commitment, is that which carries you through forever.
