RAM Reading 10-48

Prayer – Channel:

Beloved Father-Mother God, make Thy presence known to us at this time, through Thy love, Thy mercy, Thy directing that those who seek may find, that Thy face may be made known to Thy children. Oh, be with us now, oh Father. We ask this through the Christ, our Way, our Light, and our Path.

Behold the Book of Life! Know you this: you may enter the Book of Life through that which is opening it at that which is the end, or the ending. For this is the Way, the Truth and the Light. For the end is mercy, love, and justice. It is the Lamb. It is the Blood. It is the Life. Then enter in, even to Him, the Christ, for there is no other way. Know you this: it is in perseverance, it is following the way, the faith, the girding up of thyselves, that you will prevail. It is not a momentary thing. It is not a whim. It is the dedication, the perseverance, the following, the dedication, that is the key to the door that opens that which is the cover to the Book of Life.

Mark 2:1-2

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gather together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

S For He who became christed was going into that place of cleansing, or, as you would have it, Capernaum. Even within yourself when you go to the cleansing, the meditation, the body and that which are the mental conditions, and especially that which is as the subconscious of yourself, pours in, that it may know and receive the benefits of that which is the opening of the door, even as He, Jesus, opened the door, the Capernaum, that the cleansing of the people might be made known.

Mark 2:3-4

And they came unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

S How often have you heard in that which is given as advice of old, “Where there is a will, there is a way”? For will opens up that which is to the Way, the Christ. Those who would seek will find. Those who will search will find the way. Even as they came to Him in searching, that they would be made clean and the one who was as paralyzed (even as your way or your thoughts or your spiritual selves are paralyzed) came to him and was made whole, even as the search makes you whole.

Q What is meant by “borne of four” in “And they came unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four”?

S This means, metaphysically, in the search you must carry that which is even as the paralytic, or the paralyzed, rather, within yourself, even as they carried, or bore him, even not in a litter but much as carried within a blanket.

Q You have given a metaphysical answer for “which was borne of four.” Could we have more explanation to this answer?

S Borne of four is that which means that a spiritual request has been made for the entry into certain existence or prearranged existences that are necessary, or were necessary, to achieve that which is as an acceptable flowering of the meeting and demands of an individual for a group or a group directive. [10-64]

Mark 2:5-7

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? “

S These are even as the forces within yourself that would deny the simple truth that you can reach the Christ, and that through that which is the truth and the meeting of the Truth within yourself, can be forgiven. That which is orthodox religion or the seeing or the training of selves so often stands in the way of meeting with that which is the Christ or the Christ Force – even that which is the Holy Spirit at work. Lest ye stumble and fall, put aside that which are the conscious teachings, the conscious learnings that would be as the drawback to the finding of the peace, the wholeness, the forgiveness, the mercy.

Mark 2:8-9

And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, “Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?”

S This is asking for the recanting, the changing of the mind in that which is the nit-picking, that which is the binding, that which is the faultfinding and, in truth, that which is the narrow mind of the individual, even as He, Jesus the man, christed through that which is the trial and tribulation of finding peace and the forgiveness of self, as well as others.

Q Then the scribes here symbolize the conscious mind of ourselves?

S This is correct. That which feeds forth, too, into that also which is the subconscious, even as the great scribe of self which takes in all that happens, all thoughts, to self, all things, and then even as seen earlier in this reading, will pour forth to block the doorways in its haste to be cleansed, to be awakened.

Mark 2:10-12

“But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.” And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw it on this fashion.”

S Even that which is crystallized, solidified, paralyzed within yourself in turning to that which is in the house of self, the temple of the living God, you will find life, and the freedom, and the truth that will amaze even the cells, even the thoughts of the individual.

Mark 2:13-14

And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them. And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, “Follow me. And he arose and followed him.”

S This is the calling within yourself as you go forth and walk in that, or by that, or through that which is as life, the sea of life. And that you call upon that which are those others, by your actions, that they, too, may raise up and follow that which is the Christ in action.

Mark 2:15-17

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, “How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?” When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, “They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

S Prayer, meditation, the working of God, all are aimed at that which lies within you rather than that which are the outer appearances. Then know as you pray, as you meditate, as you live in the light of the Christ, so you redo, relive, reevaluate that which is your true self. Then the purification becomes even as a completed thing, or instrument that will help others to raise up to that which is their glory – God.

Q What is the significance of the calling only of Matthew in the Book of Mark?

S This is the beginning, see? As Matthew is the beginning, so you must have a beginning, too. This is calling to the beginning.

Mark 2:18-19

And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, “Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?” And Jesus said unto them, “Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.”

S While you are in that state of mind, spirit that brings forth the Christ in your actions, in your thoughts, in your hopes, your dreams, you are not bound by man’s laws, the church’s laws, but freed, rather, through God’s total law: mercy, salvation, redemption, grace.

Mark 2:20-22

“But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.”

S This is a directive. This, indeed, is an order. Once you begin to live in that which is the light of the Christ, when you follow a trail or the path, then you must change your ways, beginning within your mind patterns, your ego patterns. Your selfishness must be thrust aside. And step-by-step you must burst asunder the chains you have forged, the carnal body you have forged that holds you to the earth.

Q Does the bottle refer to the physical body and the need to cleanse and purify this physical body before spirit, symbolized by wine, can be put into it?

S This is absolutely correct.

Q And the old bottles also represent the scribes and the Pharisees, and the new bottles those that were following Jesus?

S Yes, covered by that which is as the cleansing. For as you cleanse that which has bound you before – man’s laws, man’s actions, man’s body – then you receive that which is as communion with the soul, with God, becoming one within yourself.

Mark 2:23-24

And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. And the Pharisees said unto him, “Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? “

S Here, again, you have restrictions set up by man over that which is the spiritual gaining. For that which is the symbol of corn, or wheat, is that which is the bursting of life, the ripening of that which is the food of the spirit that would not be allowed to be taken if you followed that which are the bindings or the binding law of man through its church and its church directives as established in the major religions and thought, or philosophies of these times.

 Mark 2:25-26

And he said unto them, “Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungered, he, and they that were with him? How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?”

S This is reminding that through love there can be that which is the thrusting aside within self, or within that which are the confines of the social order, or the religious order, as man perceives them to be, that you may consecrate and become consecrated, that you may eat that which is dedicated to the Lord. For the high priests, or the priests, in touching or eating that which is as the bread, have destroyed the consecration. But you, yourselves, may raise the consecration and have it then, in truth, a sacrament to the mind, the body, and especially the soul forces.

Mark 2:27-28

And he said unto them, “The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. “

S The Son of man, the force of God, the Holy Spirit, the Christ – these things, you see, are the truth, even as your soul is the truth, even as the spirit within selves is as representative of the truth. Man’s ways, laws, cannot interfere in the truth. It is the blind eyes that put it forth. It is the blind inner eye that seals the fate of man. Therefore, open your eyes, open that which is the spiritual eye, that your eye truly may be single, that your purpose within this earth may come to good ends, and that you may meet that which is as thy Maker – your God, your Host.
