Mark 3: Metaphysical Interpretation: Faith and Spiritual GrowthThis document is an in-depth spiritual analysis of Mark Chapter 3 from the Bible, faith and spiritual growth; focusing on its metaphysical aspects. It delves into the symbolism and deeper meanings behind the biblical events and teachings in this chapter, covering topics like healing, faith, spiritual awakening, and the role of Jesus and his disciples. The material also includes reflections on personal growth and spiritual development through the teachings of Christ.

Mark 3:1-4

And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, “Stand forth.” And he saith unto them, “Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill?” But they held their peace.

S The symbol here, the withered hand, is the hand, the helping hand – the hand that you hold out to your brother, your sister. It is that which God would use through you that you may become His hands in this earth. Therefore, it is not for man to dictate that which is the truth, or that which is the law. Therefore, He, the Christ, called forth the use, the cleansing, that a tool may be added within this world for that of the use of God.

Mark 3:5-7

And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

S Even as you, in faith, will be restored, there will be turmoil within your mind, within your body. And then you must go to that place, the cleansing place, represented here by the sea where the winds blow clean, and refresh yourself, that the work of God within yourself may be uninterrupted and you, too, may be as, in truth, a disciple of the living God.

Mark 3:8-12

And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him. And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him. For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues. And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, “Thou art the Son of God. And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known. “

S Here is a warning for selves. In the search, in the awakening, it must be done step-by-step through faith, through steadfastness – not in one huge opening – lest you be overwhelmed by that which is yourself and the causation of you being yourself. You must find that which is steady and that which will weather the storm and float upon the seas of life that you may call forth the truth and not be overwhelmed or destroyed in that which is the opening, that which is the search.

Q What is the meaning of the “unclean spirits” recognizing Him? What actually does “unclean spirits” mean?

S Unclean spirits are acts, here, that the individuals have done. And as you awaken, as you move towards the christing, you actually go back into time (which is only relative, you see) and confront your own actions in the present life and in the past. And the spirit of self sees, understands, points out, and brings that which is the soul mind, the subconscious mind, to awaken, call out to God. And this is the time of the overcoming of that which is the past, destroying that which you have forged in your mind – yes, in your mind – in the understanding or the bonding of yourself, the rebellion of yourself in that word “karma.”

Mark 3:13-15

And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

S As you awaken physically, mentally, and yes, spiritually, as you overcome the blocks that you have set up for yourself, as there is a flow of truth within your being through that which is the endocrine system and the opening up of the higher glands, then there is that which must be accounted for. There is that which must be cleansed that the body may be made whole and the actions truthful and purposeful in that which is God. The twelve representing here the twelve main (nervous or) nerves within that which is the cranium, controlling the entire body.

Q Does this also relate to the twelve petaled lotus of the heart chakra?

S Yes.

Q Was there an actual ordination of the disciples?

S There was.

Mark 3:16

And Simon he surnamed Peter;

S Here is faith, the calling forth of faith. For without faith you have nothing. You cannot have love without faith.

Q As I recall, the dictionary definition of surname relates both to a spiritual name and a family name. Does that apply here?

S This applies both on the level of the mental-physical being -that which is last called forth, and then that which is of the mental-spiritual, which is first called forth; meaning, in short, it is through the mind and the spirit combination that you raise the physical body, but you cannot raise the physical-mental body without raising the other, and vice versa. Therefore, as you take a step one way, you must take a step the other way and raise or cleanse or make aware the entire being. For you are still in that which is the physical world, in a physical body, trapped – yes. But, you can make it the door as you awaken the spiritual-mental man. Then awaken that which is the mental-physical man, or being, that in coordination you may lift yourself up, build the temple of God into its perfection. Whether it is perfect or not in the eyes of man is of no consequence.

Q Can we be told the source of the knowledge that resulted in the twelve petaled chakra, the heart?

S This is as the force, or that which was the beloved, revealing or using that which is the spiritual channel to pour forth into the learning of man in that which is the Indus culture, or times of the awakening. And that which came, you see, through the questioner is the remembrance of that time.

Q Were you referring to Krishna as “the beloved”?

S Correct

Q In what period did Krishna live? What was his purpose in his overall spiritual regeneration of the world?

S Kristana, or Krishna, lived for a period, as you would know it, of 150 years, even; traveled extensively in the subcontinent known as India, through that which are the Himalayas into China, to the island of Japan, Korea, in a time prior to that which was the Lord Jesus Christ’s appearance within this time frame (considered by you to be 800 B.C. to 750 approximate B.C., as we can bend time); to establish within that which was the Asiatic thought a flowering or a condensing, you might say, of that which is the understanding, which already prevailed within that which was the mainstream of thought and understanding of the spiritual nature of mankind and what must be overcome physically and mentally to achieve–which later became known as Nirvana. [10-64]

Q Please compare the coming in of Melchizedek and Krishna.

S Mechezedek, Melchizedek, Mekiladek, as even called in the various tongues and forms, is that step that is prior to the assuming of the spiritual status of the Christ coming into its own, as in that which was the return of Jesus the Christ after that which was His christing. Whereas Krishna was then placed within the body, or the assumed body, and used in the growing step-by-step through that which is the childhood, the adolescence, so forth. And he, Melchizedek, stepping, as you might say, into the plane, using the features, the material, as assembled into the recognizable, usable body–human almost to the fault, but nevertheless prepared–with no childhood, no adolescence and actually no young manhood. For age was revered at that time, so then the body was prepared, and prepared to be at that level which would assume a standard, or meet the standard, as adhered to by the people of that time for one who would assume the attention of the people for the age, and the veneration of same, which was then an outward symbol of success and wisdom. [10-116]

Q Did the surname Peter have any relationship to the particular aspect of the entity that he was, or to the ray that he was representing?

S Oh yes – to both the more.

Q Please clarify the part of the answer, “the more”.

S Even as given, “the more” meaning that each was a specific assignment, each was a specific thing, not just a touching or a burnishing, but a direct path, step-by-step, both having tremendous importance rather than that which was as a fleeting instance of importance. [10-64]

Mark 3:17

And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

S You must awaken within yourself that place and become as a son of thunder, that place of all quietness – the meeting of the Christ within where the silence is thunder. Then you, too, are joined with that which is as the forces, the spiritual forces, the Christ, the Holy Spirit, and God – the Creative Force.

Q Were they given the same spiritual, or surname, because they were both aspects of the same soul entity?

S Correct. And they received that which are as the benefits and also the drawbacks of a single soul purpose.

Q Please explain how thunder can be silence.

S Until you experience light, you cannot understand light. Until you experience God, you cannot know God. The place of thunder, the silence, the total silence can only be compared to that which is thunder – awe inspiring, attention getting, an awakening force. For even as thunder is that which follows the lightning, which in essence is the spirit of God at work (for what is lightning but electricity) which is the closest description that can be given to mortals of the force of God, or life, or even thought. For your thoughts, in essence, are small lightnings.

Q Did Joel Goldsmith attain this level? Or is it just a fluke that he came up with the title The Thunder of Silence?

S Joel Goldsmith missed out in a previous incarnation of being as a son of thunder, and attained through the search. And after attaining in this lifetime, moved on into that which are realms for further study to enlighten others in the method of receiving that which is as the place of the silence.

Q Is the name Boanerges a plural, meaning sons, and the singular would be without the “s”?

S More or less correct.

Q Then I see without the “s” Boanerge would be a 67 and silence would be a 67 also. So numerologically they have the same number.

S Correct.

Q In a physical sense were the brothers loud?

S Very loud, very boisterous.

Mark 3:18

And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

S This is calling all the forces of the mind and the body that they, too, may be on that way and be lifted up by those who have received the sons of thunder. It is a directive, not only for the forces within self, but for the actions of the individual among the brothers, the sisters. Not by preachment but by action will your brother, your sister follow that which is the trail.

Mark 3:19

And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into a house.

S This is: even though you have within yourself that which would be termed as the fall of , the Judas principle within self, or the philosophy that espouses self rather than others, that, too, is called within that it may have the opportunity to be cleansed and not betray. Though there is betrayal even in the lives of the greatest, so often, so minute, so insignificant, seemingly, and yet a betrayal nevertheless. For size is not a spiritual thing, only a mental thing. For an act is an act, is an act.

Mark 3:20-22

And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, “He is beside himself.” And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, “He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.”

S Here in the life of Jesus even as in your lives, there will be those who would rescue you, rescue you from yourself, from those things which bring to you the needs, the hopes, the cries of others. Even as those around Him did not understand, so those around you will not understand, and even within yourself will not understand. And those that are steeped in that which is their understanding of religion may say you are possessed by the devil, that you may be in Satan’s grasp. Yet you must go your way and do that which you know is best through your understanding, your knowledge, your enlightenment.

Mark 3:23

And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?”

S There are those who claim to have the word. There are those who live by religious laws and yet they do not have the word or the laws – if they do not live by the word of God. How was it given? By the very word of God, (`very’ meaning true). You cannot decipher, you cannot dictate that which is the law of God. You must search and find. And so often that which is as man’s interpretation of God’s law is astray. Therefore, you must have the personal search, you must find within yourself. You cannot have another lead you. Only He that would awaken you and He, the Christ, that would light the way. His hand reaching out and touching you will lighten you and enlighten you that you may find within yourself the answers.

Mark 3:24

“And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.”

S Here are two understandings. When you are divided within yourself, you cannot proceed. But you also must divide yourself to destroy that which is the earthly kingdom to find that which is the heavenly kingdom. In other words, there must be a clear, concise overcoming of the world. This does not mean to destroy the body. No. The body is a tool. But to put it in its proper place and destroy the chains and the ties that would hold you to this earth. It is seeing all things of the physical plane in its proper perspective: to be used, to be had, but not for selfish reasons, but for that which is best in the enlightenment, step-by-step.

Mark 3:25

“And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

S Once again, if you are not overcome by your search, you cannot find that which is your goal. Therefore, it cannot be divided. But you must divide your house from that which is man’s ways, man’s thoughts, that you may raise that which is the spirit and the spiritual way, the spiritual thoughts.

Mark 3:26

“And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.”

S This is the war in the intellect, the war within the mind of an individual, until that which is the intellect used for the intellect is cast aside, and the intellect then becomes a tool for the growth of the forces within yourself and the help of others.

Mark 3:27

“No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.”

S You must be strong at all times in the spiritual things unless you would fall backwards. And if you would fall backwards, this is your choosing. Therefore, lest you would be overcome by your own insignificances, be strong, be sure, and your strength is one thing – faith. It is the ground floor. It is the building block for selves. It is the building block that calls forth the Christ. For even He, Jesus, that became the building block, cast aside, but arisen, so you must within yourself raise the building block.

Mark 3:28-29

“Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:”

S Eternal, here, being that which is the time, and that which is the damnation is what you would call reincarnation, or the facing of the way, or even that, in the extreme, which (even with the opportunities over and over presented) is the destruction of the individuality of selves and that which is taken into God, leaving yourself no opportunity to raise up and be as a universe, to be as love, to be as that which God intended you to be.

Q Just exactly how do we describe blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

S That is simply not taking advantage of mercy of God, of love of God. For the Holy Spirit is the action of God coming to you. This is showing no repentance. This is wrapping self totally in self. It is that which denies God.

Q It’s the ceasing to strive for perfection; whereas the other blasphemies that can be forgiven are individual failures within the total struggle, or the total seeking. Is this correct?

S This is correct.

Mark 3: 30-35

Because they said, “He hath an unclean spirit.” There came his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, “Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.” And he answered them, saying, “Who is my mother, or my brethren?” And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, “Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”

S This is the truth; this is the way; this is the understanding, whether it is to the brothers, the sisters, the mother, what have you, that lie without of self. But is also true of all parts of your own body, mental-physical as well as mental-spiritual. For all are one and all do that which is the bidding of that which is God to follow His path, that ye, in truth, may be free. How can you be free when you must follow that which is as a bidding? Only through the experience can you know same.
