This document provides a comprehensive analysis of Matthew 17 from the Bible and transfiguration; focusing on its spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It discusses various events and teachings within the chapter, such as the Transfiguration of Jesus, the healing of a boy with a demon, and teachings on faith and spiritual understanding. The material delves into the symbolic meanings and deeper spiritual messages behind these narratives.
Matthew 17:1-3
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
S This is as going into meditation and finding the mount. What He showed them is what happens within the individual in meditation. First you would find Moses which is as love, or that which is born of the waters of faith. Then you would have Elijah who is the spirit of God enlightened within the earth, the I AM force, to be exact, in a guise here, talking with that which is the force of God within self, the truth of your being, your I AM. Elijah, the force without, Moses, the awakening force within self, and that which is the truth of thy being, the I AM, the transfiguration into that which is the triune of the body of each and every individual.
Q Was this also a real happening?
S It was a real happening.
Q Why did Elijah come when he had just died as John?
S This is the example, or this was even as that which is as the understanding that the I AM in Elijah existed in John. John was Elijah prior. It is as an aspect of the individual, even as every individual has many aspects. John could have appeared, yet it was better that Elijah appear. For this is that which is the proclaiming of the I AM force, or the force without, coming to meet that which is the I AM force within. Whereas that of John the Baptist showed the I AM force awakening within self–not fully awakened-realizing
that the personality must be put aside that the Christ Force, the Truth, may come forth. Whereas Elijah is that force without that is called upon by the individuals, even as represented the awakening in Moses, or the waters of the spiritual nature, to bring about the awakening of the truth of the individual being.
Matthew 17:4–6
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
S This was the force of God saying, ”Look not for any individual, regardless of how they are presented, regardless of the importance they have had. Seek only that which is the I AM, the God Force, the Christ within – in meditation, in prayer, in action.” This, then, was that which was the throwing aside of the others, or the dissipation of the others, and concentrating only on that which is the Word, the Truth, the Light, the Way.
Q Was this again an actual happening?
S This was an actual happening. Remember, the Bible is literal in so much. It is that which is as the testament of the time. Not only of the way and the life of Christ, but the actual happenings, the events that are the true events, that had bearing upon the people. For they must know and see true events as they saw true events to be in the material world. Yet each and every event has that which is the spiritual meaning, or basis, or reason.
Q When we present this material, pointing out that we worship one God and that Jesus manifested God and should not be worshipped as a man, as is being done, what is going to be the reaction of the churches to this material? In their eyes it’s the most heretical material possible.
S Did not He say, “They hated Me before they hated you? If ye keep My ways, they will hate you too?” They hated Jesus the man, for Jesus the man knew the way, spoke that which was the truth. And they did not want to hear the truth. But He became Christed for it. Did they not call Him names? Call Him funny, egotistical? They will do the same to you, to this material. And yet, as so often given, in adversity ye grow. ln that which is the beating of the blade in the heat, and the suffering of the steel, comes that which is the greatest tempering, the greatest blade. So, it is with the individual.
Matthew 17:7–8
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, “Arise, and be not afraid.” And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
S This is the awakening (that) when even fear may be cast out by that which is the realization that the Christ lies within. And as a disciple of Christ, the individual can be touched by Christ, and the fears thrown away, and there is naught else but Christ – no others, no pain, sorrows, as people would know them to be. You may, or some will, retain the physical pains, the physical discomforts, and yet it is the soul that is important. Ye have been brought up in a world that worships the physical, that knows only the physical, that understands only the physical. But it is that which lies within that has the importance.
Matthew 17:9
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, “Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.”
S For individuals that means: when ye have found that which is the feeding of self, the awakening of self within, that ye do not stand upon the soapbox and proclaim it, that you do not voice your experience to others, that only those that ask (that they may find, too) should you voice it to. But let that which are the actions speak louder than words. For this is the measure: gentleness, true love of that which are as others, regardless of their actions toward you: forgiveness, patience, long–suffering.
Q In Matthew 17:9, Jesus said, ‘Tell no one this vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.” Did He really say this? [10-25]
S ln so many words. Though not…the thought, you see, being that which is the importance here. For the time was not ready and was prescribed, you see, that those who would naturally doubt could doubt, and those who would believe from the inner being that which is faith would accept in faith. [10-25, 10-2-76]

And now we give that which is the love, the blessings, and this: Oh, children, how we long to gather ye to us, and yet it is for selves to learn the way. But know this: ever ready is the Christ to touch thee, to help thee. Have faith, love. Be gentle and kind.

Prayer – Channel
Oh Father-Mother,
we pray that Thy presence will be made known
to us, that Thy way will be shown to us, not for
ourselves, oh Father, but for those who seek to
see and know thy face. Through Jesus the
Christ, our Elder Brother, we ask this. In love
we come before Thee, oh Lord.

Hearken to the song that was sung, when He that came will come again. Hearken to the song of His presence, for it lies within, yea, and without. For He that was, and is, and ever shall be, has graced this world with that which is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
We will give to this group that which is sought after as is seen is best, to be known at this time, for the use of those who seek to see and know the face of God.
Matthew 17:10–13
And his disciples asked him, saying, “Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come”? And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise, shall also the Son of man suffer of them.” Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
S Here you have that which has many meanings, or that first which is as reincarnation, or that of the recycling of souls, or the coming in and passing on, and the return of those souls or the facets of the souls, for the learning purposes, that they once again may find the way to that which is God. It is also that which is as Elisha, or even as Eliza who became Elisha, or was cleansed by Elisha, becoming singular in the life, even in the acquaintance of one to the other, and was reborn, then, as John the Baptist. For Elisha, Eliza, is that which is as the power of the I AM, though used as that which would be known in the old writings, or in the days of old, as that which is the fire, the brimstone, that which is the force, the destruction, rather than that which became the mild, or that which was shown as the calming, the understanding of love in Elisha. For then you have the going to that which is John the Baptist, or John being that not only which was a light and love, but that which was the intellectual striving that must be diminished, that that which is love or the spiritual self must come.
Q Please clarify our understanding of the meaning and relationship between Eliza, Elijah, and Elisha.
S Well, we have there, the first being as a priest of the ancient type, first to be the priest consecrated. Then you have that which is as a prophet, or the great prophet. And then you have that which is as the prophet of peace and fulfillment. Thus, you have the three referenced there. [10-45, 5-7-78]
Matthew 17:14-18
And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him”. Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me”. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
S Here ye have the body, the mind, the spiritual qualities that are found in man. Here you have that which is as the cleansing of self by that which is the spiritual asking, rather than that which is the spiritual cleansing of self which is empowered to you by that which is the spirit of God. Here, as Jesus cleansed for others, casting out the madness that lies within an individual – the devil, the selfishness, the intellectual aggrandizement of self– so he told those, in the example, that they must turn to themselves, even as each and every individual must cleanse themselves dually. Even though He, the Christ, may cleanse you as is necessary, there comes the time when ye must act, even as He Himself, and cleanse yourself, that ye may find righteousness and purity within the sight of God.
Q We are told that we must cleanse ourselves dually. What does the dually refer to, mental and physical or…?
S Yes. The mental and the physical must be cleansed. And this is washing away by using that which is the example, the love of the Christ, by using that which is the sacrifice by Jesus the man as the lever that raises the spiritual in self and at the same time brings into proper focus and balance the mental and the physical. [10-45, 5-7-78]
Q Who was the son and what was the healing referred to?
S This was as the son of Pilate who suffered from that which you would call now epilepsy. Was cured by that which was as the Master, causing great consternation upon the wife of Pilate, you see. For there was no doubt within the mind of this lady as to the authority of the Man, Jesus. [10-46, 5-13–78]
Matthew 17:19–21
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, “Why could not we cast him Out?” And Jesus said unto them, “Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place’; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
S Here you have that which is the example of thought. For thought is that which is so small, and yet so great that it can change man and his circumstances. It must be achieved, however, by sacrifice of that which is the material, that which is vanity, that which is the ego, by placing the thought before all things, by cleansing through the giving up of the self-image in order to find the truth of self, or the true self. This is that which is small and becomes great. For the smallness of an individual is that which looms the greatest in the material man. Thought then, too, being a small thing seemingly, is that which is great and counts as most within the exploits of man within this earth.
Q How does Jesus cleanse us other than showing us the way and…?
S He is that which funnels mercy and love. For without the mercy through Jesus the Christ, none of ye could achieve. For ye lack that which is the strength to achieve. For He must be the guide, the helping hand.
Matthew 17:22-23
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
S Now you have that which is the thought: (for) that which is Galilee, the purifying, the redeeming thought, where Jesus spoke of that which must be done within the individual, that which is the realization (even as He, the First Son, or the first to come into that which is the material) must destroy that which is the man and let that which is the perverse, that which is the profane, that which is earthly, take that which is the negative, or even that which is the material body, for itself, freeing the spirit. And each and every individual must come to this, then, which is then their trial, their cross to bear.
Q Is something else meant in ‘he shall be raised again’?
S This is that which is even he that is the awakening of the spirit within. And we use he, you see, for lack of a term that would be befitting. For this is both male, female, into the oneness that raises the individual up to that level. For even as given: He created you a little lower than angels, but that you are becoming gods. Therefore, to be raised even as the Christ, ye must be as Jesus and follow His pattern, His example, to be raised, then, into that which is the realm of gods.
Q We are told to give up the material things of life. To what extent do we do this, or how do we proceed?
S The giving up of material things is not to throw them aside. But to give them up in the manner that they are chains or weights that hold you to things, to this earth, to realms that are not for self. For ye are in this earth but not of this earth. You are to use it as that which is a vehicle back towards that which ye have come from, rather than as a home base, or that which would hold you to it. For if you would have a beautiful home, it is but a shelter, a place to entertain the Lord, to bring in those who are needy, to use as that as a spiritual center, even as the body is the home. So that which is the material home should be considered. And if ye would cast aside the material body that ye live in, the temple, even as that which it is – an old castoff thing that hides the glory of self-so the material home, or that which is the manifestation of the material within this world, or the earth plane, should be considered. For the material objects, whether they be money, food, or clothing, are but to be used only, not to be possessed by or possessed of. For they are of this earth, created for this earth, and not for selves in the spiritual sense. For the Master of Life in His journeys in that which were the physical planes of His time, was well–clothed, well-housed, and surrounded by those who were plentiful and had plenty. For it was of use at that time. But it bound not the Master nor those who were enlightened by Him, or those who even prepared the way, for they saw and knew it for what it is. For while you are in this earth, you need to breathe until you have learned not to, lest this castoff body die. But as you proceed into the spiritual realm, air is not necessary. See?
Matthew 17:24-27
And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, “Doth not your master pay tribute”? He saith, “Yes.” And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, “What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?” Peter saith unto him, “Of strangers.” Jesus saith unto him, “Then are the children free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and the.”
S Here you have that which is the thought or the purification of same, meaning that which is the rock or the foundation upon which Christianity or the love of Christ in God is, being instructed here. Ye are in this earth, yet ye are not of this earth. Therefore, the prince of this earth, which is as that which is materiality itself, must be understood and lived with, even as the taking of the fish to pay off that which are the kings, the princes of this realm, that ye may do that which is as best within this life, offending not the law or the principle of this plane, yet not being as a son of this plane, but of the Son of the Most High, the living Lord God, which has created ye for greater things than to be that which is of this earth, which is only but an atom in the universe of God.
