Matthew 22 Explained: Divine Wisdom and Spiritual LawThe document is an in-depth analysis of Matthew 22 from the Bible, focusing on Divine Wisdom and Spiritual Law; spiritual and metaphysical interpretations. It covers various teachings and events within the chapter, including the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, Jesus’ teachings on paying taxes to Caesar, and the question of the greatest commandment. The analysis delves into the symbolic meanings and deeper spiritual messages behind these narratives, emphasizing themes like divine wisdom, the essence of true spirituality, and the principles of divine law and love.

Matthew 22:1-7

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, “The Kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, ‘Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.’ But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city”.

S Here is that which is the offering within self: that as ye find that which is divine, ye may use the wisdom, the knowledge to perfect self, that all the Lord offers in His bounty may be yours. And in so doing, serve thy fellow man. But [to] those who are offered: those who turn their backs will pay the price, and they must return and return and return again. This is as the defeat by the armies of the Lord. For ye must be defeated within that which is the physical that ye may find that which is as the spiritual.

Matthew 22:8-14

Then saith he to his servants, “The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.” So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, “Friend, how earnest thou in hither not having a wedding garment?” And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, “Bind him hand and foot and take him away and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.”

S Woe unto them that choose not the way of the Lord when the knowledge is as given to them. For He gives of Himself freely. And those who use that which is given in the improper manner, use not that which is given with wisdom, will have great tribulation at that which is the soul level. For they will feel that they have been cut off from that which is love, that which is light, that which is as the spiritual feeding. And those, in that time, that do not receive that which is as Christs Second Coming in the physical will be those who must face themselves again, and again, and again, for that great period of time, or they [will] be those that will be taken up into God, knowing not the individualism, or the individual personality of truth, that has been given as a gift of God to every entity.

Q Referring to the Second Coming in the physical, as given for the reading on Matthew 22:814, does one have to be present in a body in the earth plane in order to receive the Second Coming and avoid the returning over and over again?

S All the earth, all the heavens shall know the coming. And there shall be that which is the love and earning of those present in the earth plane to relieve and help and guide those who are from (in) other planes. For those who are on the fringe, who have reached, it is a time of rejoicing. For the chains will be dropped, the jail will burst, and they, too, may say, ‘It is over.‘ [10-45, 5-7-78]

Q Even if one does receive the Second Coming, can a soul choose to come back over and over again to help others?

S This is correct. [10-46, 51378]

Q Did you mean tribulation or trial?

S Trial and tribulation more correct.

Matthew 22:15-17

Then went the Pharisees and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, “Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?”

S Here ye have the Herodians, or those thoughts, those teachings that lie within self that believe in the physical world, or that of the intelligence, or that of Rome as the Herodians, or that of the humanistic nature of man, or the rewards in the physical-mental realm rather than in the spiritual, who would send their thoughts, their disciples, to be as that which would lead astray from that which is the spiritual nature into that which is the physical-mental realm or the material world.

Matthew 22:1822

But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said,” Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? Shew me the tribute money.” And they brought unto him a penny. And he saith unto them, “Whose is this image and superscription?” They say unto him, “Caesar’s”. Then saith he unto them, “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” When they had heard these words, they marveled, and left him, and went their way.

S For that which is a facing of where your heart lies, so your soul lies. If ye would choose the spiritual, or if ye would choose the material, it is choice-free choice- as given by God. For those who would seek to lead astray cannot face the truth of God’s law, God’s wisdom. And they, too, must fade away.

Matthew 22:23-28

The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, Saying, “Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. And last of all the woman died also. Therefore, in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.”

S Here is as the seven representing that which are the spiritual centers of self, or that which is the endocrine system, enlivened by the spiritual knowledge and use. For those, as represented here, are those thoughts within self (and each and every individual has them, even as Jesus had them and overcame them) to use that which are the psychic or the spiritual forces, too (within self), to that which is the material gain, that which is as the manwoman aspect, that which is of this plane, rather than believe in that which is as the future of the Truth, the Light, or the Spirit itself, or that which is good, that which is God, seeing only that which is the limited vision of the materialistic   through materialistic longings, desires, which, in truth, must be overcome, must be adjusted to that which is as the purpose, the real purpose of your being, rather than that of this physical abode, this physical plane.

Q What does the wife symbolize here?

S This, once again, is as the holding within self, or the will, or that is as even  as represented in Mary as the ability to hold to the spiritual path, the spiritual truth, the ideal, the idea.

Matthew 22:29-34

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

S Once again it is as the spiritual within self, making self, aware of that which is the overcoming of the illusion. For God is a living God. And even as He gave, ‘Let the dead bury the dead.” The material world is a place of dead spirituality and materiality reigns supreme. It is the illusionary world, the world that was created for animals. And if ye would be an animal, then live it to its fullest and stay here. But if ye would be spiritual, even as God created you to be, then thrust aside, cast aside, the illusion and follow the spiritual.

Q What is meant by ”but are as the angels of God in heaven’?

S These are, then, the thoughts of God, cleansing, pure, and clean.

Matthew 22:35.40

Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets”.

S This is as what ye must do within yourself. This is that which must be the guiding thought ever: to honor God above all things and to honor the God Force that lies within thy brothers, thy sisters; to realize even as these commandments are one, you, your brother, your sister, and God are one, for ye are part of Him and He has created thee. Therefore, treat all as ye would God.

Matthew 22:41-46

While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, saying, “What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he?” They say unto him, “The son of David.” He saith unto them,” How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, ‘The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?’ If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?” And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

S For that which is the force of God defies man’s understanding, or selves’ understanding. And through faith, then, ye may find the realm, the way to be as that which understands, which finds the path. And as the path unfolds, understanding, knowledge and wisdom, will fall into place. For it is in faith. Hold faith fast within selves and ye may find the Way.
