Father of all mercies,

we Thy children come before Thy face seeking

to see the Light, to find the Way. And we ask

through our Elder Brother, Jesus the Christ, for

Thy love, Thy mercy to shine upon us, that the

Way may be made clear, that we may give to

others that which is Thy joy,

Thy love, Thy blessings.

Behold, He has risen! Make straight the path to the Lord! Behold, the Son has risen! Behold, the Lamb is whole! Bow thy hearts, thy minds, that ye, too, may realize what mercy and love are. This is a time of resolution. This is a time to set thy house in order. This is a time to be strong in the way of the Lord. This is a time to cast aside fear. For did He not cast aside fear? This is a time to forgive. Did He not forgive? This is a time that ye must belittle those things that come to you. For who among you have suffered as He? Oh, ye of little faith, that cry out, that writhe at the smallest inconveniences, know ye this: that in His mercy He has made straight the path, smoothed the way, cast aside the darkness, that ye might find the path whole and merciful. Then rejoice in that which is yours. Find comfort in His hand and know that His joy is held out to you if ye would but forget yourself. For, in truth, ye must do that. How often have you turned to yourselves, rather than into yourselves, to find that which is as the comfort or the lack of comfort? Therefore, go into selves, find the mountain, the place that will give thee strength, and meet Him there. We have the physical existence and the mental existence. We have the emotions, the voluntary and involuntary systems of these entities.

Matthew 27:1-2

When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

S Ever, then, is the representative of that which is the official or that which is the organized religion, or understandings, or philosophies of mankind, binding that which is the God Force within and bringing it before that which is the subconscious, or even the intellectual mind of man unrisen, you see, unaware, that cannot find (that is Pilate), cannot find that which is the understanding of the spiritual forces, or cannot bow its knee to that which it would then be subservient to, the God Force. This, then, is a calling for the death of that which are the spiritual forces within mankind, even as it happened to Jesus in the flesh, to Himself and, yet, by others, too.

Matthew 27:3-5

Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, “I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? see thou to that.” And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

S This is as those who are upon the path, those who have put their hands to the plow, turning back, and turning back again to find, then, the Way. But lo, the   has been lost, the betrayal has been made. And self is as one who must return again in that which is as the reincarnation, or that which is facing life again and those problems, the karmic self, the karmic world, caused by self.

Q ln referring to Judas Iscariot in Acts, Peter is quoted as saying, ‘‘now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity and falling headlong he burst asunder in the midst and all his bowels gushed out.‘ Matthew 2 7 says that the chief priest took the money he returned to them and that they  purchased the field. Also this gospel says Judas hanged himself. So, we have a flat contradiction in the King James version as to who bought the land and the manner of death, which bothers many people. Why is there this discrepancy in two matters of fact?

.S Not matters of fact. The first, being that which is the descriptive as mans fall from grace and bursting of that which is the body, that which is the relieving through the sin, and the awakening to the same. Whereas the other is that which physically happened to the entity. [10-14, 2-22-75]

Matthew 27:610

And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, “it is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.” And they took counsel, bought with them the potters field, to bury strangers in. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; And gave them for the potter‘s field, as the Lord appointed me.”

S Ever it is that man betrays himself. Ever again it is that he rationalizes the deeds. Ever has it been forecast, by the prophets of the word of God, of the reaction of man to that which is love, truth, and light.

Matthew 27:1114

And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, “Art thou the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said unto him, “Thou sayest.” And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto him, “Hearest thou not how many things they witness thee?” And he answered him to never a word; in so much that the governor marveled greatly.

S As Jesus did to those, so self must do also. For to argue, to bandy about that which ye believe, is false. But to live that which ye believe, even as He, Jesus the Christ, lived that which He knew to be the truth. Did He argue when He could have, when His arguments could have been stronger than those about Him? No. For He knew the way, His place. And did not those about Him marvel? For they knew His abilities. And that which He was accused of was flimsy and could be overturned. Yet He held His peace. For peace is that which ye seek in the event of the adversary against self. For when the adversary comes against you, it is peace brought on by faith, by works of love, that will make you strong.

Matthew 27:15-18

Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would. And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. Therefore, when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, “Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?” For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

S Here you have, then, that which is the eternal war between that which is the spiritual self and that which are the lower forces, or that of the intellectemotional man, which is as that which thrusts or fights that which is the Christ, or the spiritual force, being as that which is Barabbas or Barabba, that is to say, the one who is or stands in the way of the learning of the Christ within self. It is that which blocks the forces that come into the mind, the spiritual forces and understandings that excite the body and bring into play that which are even as the centers of the body, that they, then, may raise the spiritual consciousness of self.

Matthew 27:19

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, “Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.”

S Even as this good woman is as the thought within self that would cleanse rather than destroy. Even as in those days that woman did know of the Christ who had cleansed the son, so self must be cleansed in the understanding. For thou art the son of thine own mind, thine own enterprises. And therefore, the cleansing must occur within self rather than sending to the father of that son – the spiritual forces to be condemned.

Q Matthew 27:19:  Who was the son and what was the healing that was referred to?

S This was as the son of Pilate who suffered from that which you would call, now, epilepsy. Was cured by that which was as the Master, causing great consternation upon the wife of Pilate, you see. For there was no doubt within the mind of this lady as to the authority of the man, Jesus. [1046, 5-13-78]

Q May we have the dream that Pilates wife had that troubled her so?

S This is the dream, yes. The dream here was that rather of a vision, of that which is heaven, as the entity could understand it, with Jesus the Christ being as the gate and holding that which is life within His hands. The entity was also shown the fate of the husband for his part in that life, and the karma that followed him. [10-45, 5-7-78]

Matthew 27:20-22

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas and destroy Jesus. The governor answered and said unto them, “Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you?” They said, “Barabbas.” Pilate saith unto them, “What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?” They all say unto him, “Let him be crucified.”

S Here, then, is the will, as Pilate then in this instance, turning to that which is the intellect (or that or those forces within self of the intellect) that knows it must bow down if the Christ is released; therefore, would rather have the lower elements, the forces that stand between the spiritual, released. Ever it has been since the fall of man in times of old.

Matthew 27:23-26

And the governor said, “Why, what evil hath he done?” But they cried out the more, saying, “Let him be crucified.” When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.” Then answered all the people, and said, “His blood be on us, and on our children.” Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

S This is the mind and the mind’s blood (the will would have it) speaking out. That of the children, then, are the thoughts that would call the blood of the innocent upon themselves, fearing, in reality, no consequences. For determined within themselves that they lay, or lie above that which is as the spiritual and are greater. For they are selfishness, foolishness, ignoranceall these things. It is also this which is given as the washing of the hands which is as the rationalization of the mind, so saying that I am cleansed when the opportunity has been given to self to turn at this time. For how often does the mind rationalize and say, ”tomorrow,or ”in the future I will be thus or so.”

Q Did Pilate get into trouble with the Roman authorities for this execution?

S Quite so.

Q Can you tell us why he did?

S First, the Roman hierarchy, you see, the Roman authority always that which are the local customs and laws to come first, unless they ran afoul of that which was Roman law. First, you see, understand that it was against the religion of the Jews to crucify (but to stone), breaking of the law. There was not that which was the representation, a breaking of the law or the custom of that time, you see, also disturbing the Romans. It also caused that which were minor blood baths about and stirred insurrection among many. In the countryside, especially, came down upon even the temples with wrath, causing more disturbances in a volatile land that had for some years been more or less quiet. The emperor himself called back that which was Pilate, causing, later, Pilate to do the same deed as that which was done by him who betrayed Jesus of Nazareth.

Q The Source has said that the only thing the Jews could find that would cause the Romans to act against Jesus was the nonpayment of taxes to Rome. Because this is not in the gospels, could we have more on this?

S First, that, then, was a defiance, you see, of the right or the imperial power to act as God and impose taxes, unvoted by others, by the royal whim or fancy, you see. lt is even as obeisance, you see, in the state or at the state of Rome, you see, to give. For it was as an act that all must participate, regardless of their status in the Roman empire, regardless if they be governor, proconsul, tribune, council, what have you. Even prince of the realm gave that which was as the coinage. For this was as conceding or bowing to Caesar, coming from that custom, you see, established in the republic times prior to the establishment of the freedom, even from the kings or the Tarshish, (Tarsin), you see, where there was the passing under the yoke at that time, and the giving of alms then to the representative of the Etruscans or the Romans, as the Romans took same to be. Here, then, in giving the alms to that which you would consider Caesar, or in reality Emperor of Rome, was giving them the same as passing under the yoke, bending the knee, and giving obeisance to that which was the authority or god on the throne. Therefore, the failure to pay tax was not that which was as a sin, as in your times of nonsupport of the laws of supporting the country by the monetary system, but rather as a slap at that which was the divinity of the Emperor. This, then (was as), also irritated many Jews of the time, that the charge was so made when they knew it to be false from the teachings of the Man of Nazareth, Jesus the Christ.

Q As given in the gospels, we are led to believe that Pontius Pilate was trying hard to help Jesus, and that Pilate was a just governor. May we have some more on that?

S Pilate was a mediocre governor, but a fair psychologist by your standards. But also a practical politician who feared much for his place, and was unhappy at that which he had called banishment to the ends of the earth, that lower piece of real estate owned by the empire, where anywhere else in the empire would be considered to be an outstanding position. For governors were appointed not only to rule, but to make themselves rich, and there were little riches to be found. Therefore, that which you would term as the Holy Land was as the backwaters of the empire, where this man plotted to become even as governor of Spain, or Egypt, or even Gaul. Was thwarted, you see, by being thrust into that which is as the backwaters and saw not the opportunity to be that which was humanitarian, as you would put it, loving, or kind. But rather, seized upon every opportunity to paddle, or to pad his own way out of that country by greasing the palms of others, by doing the bidding of others, that good will would be established between that part of the empire, its important people, and the imperial city, Rome itself.

Q What is meant by”to wear the red robe of Pilate“?

S This is as the giving of blood of others, standing in judgment. This is even as rage, often, in the mind. For Pontius Pilate most often represents the will unbridled.

Q What was Jesus’ legal status? He was a citizen of what country?

S He was as both quasi-citizen of Rome, citizen of that which you would call Judaea. Basically, the citizen of the Hebrew, or the Hebrew understanding by religion at that time. Though, you see, there were arguments, even on the floor of the Senate at that time, as who was as true Roman citizen. Remembering Rome granted to many, and to much of those territories conquered, equal status under the Roman banner meaning that if you were from Alba, conquered by Rome early, that ye, too, were granted the rights and privileges of Roman citizenship, as long as you swore allegiance to Rome, paid the Roman tithes, and stood by Rome in the time of battle.

Q What is the word starting with a T” that follows even from the kings or the __________ “. Two pronunciations were given. What does it refer to?

S It refers to that which is as a level of understanding, a council of people, those who are as judges.

Q Was it Tarshish or Tarsin?

S Well, it is the root of that which became Tarquin, see?

Q Is this locality?

S No. It‘s a name, used later as a locality or an area, but became a specific name first for certain people, a line of kings. [10-46, 5-13-78]

Matthew 27:27-31

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

S And even then He smiled. Even then He forgave. And how He enraged them and brought fear to those that had judged Him. Fear in the heart of Pilate. Fear in the heart of the priests. For He joked at them and with them -even as self must do in those times of crisis. How often have we given to thee, all of you, the thought that in your times, in your day which is the now, the present, to create the future, or the perfect, ye must smile, ye must joke, you must turn the cheek to that which ye would find as the turmoil of life, the pain of life. For ye do not understand that which is the truth, the separation between the emotions of the world, the emotions of the mind, and joy, love, and peace. Even as the symbol of that which they plaited, the thorns upon His brow, brought not that which was the thorny response, but instead, with the blood came that which was love. And when they smote Him, came the smile. There, then, they knew in their anger and their fear that they could not break the spirit. Even as the body and self, or that which you would consider self, the mind and the will, must know that it cannot break the spirit of Self. That even in as those times of adversity, so the true spirit grows stronger and the forces that cause the adversary, or the adversity to collect, to become as the adversary, grow the weaker. For, in truth, He is joy, love, ever mercy, and yes, the happiness that brings forth that which are the jokes and the comic side that sees the foolishness for what it truly is comedy.

Matthew 27.32

And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

S Here is the battle within self. For here is Simon faith versing that which is part of himself, and part of yourself, the coldness, the unforgiving self, the hard self, the cruel self. And yet, Simon will bear the cross. For it is part of his understanding. Remember, Jesus bore the cross many times in the coming in, the many times He came in. The crosses He bore were not of wood, not of plank, not driven together by the spikes, but yet they were crosses. So ye must bear the cross, a cross. For ye, too, have come in and stayed in. For to break that which is your bond with this earth, you must bear a cross that your fellow man might find the Way, the Love, the Joy.

Q Please elaborate on the cross, a cross.

S The cross is symbolic of the man Jesus. The cross is that which you must notyou must understand is also the thing you must go across to. It is that which each bears every day, one way or another. A cross is that which is as even He, the Master, took unto Himself. Which is to say, and to be explicit, the cross and a cross become one when you accept that which is as the way of the Lord. It does not matter if you would say the man Jesus, or the way, or a trial of self, for they are one in reality. In other words, (they are) it is an experience, a philosophy, a way of life, an understanding, a matter of worship, prayer to your God.

Q Could you describe this as a symbol which the vertical member is upward to God and the horizontal member as man’s opposite, refusing to obey the will of God?

S Which can be turned to the outstretched hands summoning all to ‘come unto me’. See?

Q Would a better symbol be the ankh with the symbol representing God the circle on the top?

S This is good, however, that which is as, or might be seen, or was used for many years, the trident, see, the uplifted arms turning to God, lifting up mankind towards that which is the Way. But the symbol for selves is not the cross. It is the Lamb. [10-46, 5-13-78]

Matthew 27:33

And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,

S This is as ye would have it within yourselves. For does not the skull pertain[to] the mind, the will, but also the pineal and the pituitary. Here is where you take in through the senses, the five senses, that which excites, stimulates, and brings forth the spiritual (or rejects it) from that which is the pituitary and the pineal. For here, then, is where ye make judgment within yourself as to the way you will go. Here is the freedom of choice that each and every individual will take upon himself. And here is where the final choice came upon Him who was and is the Christ.

Q When you make a choice because you think you should make it, but not because you want to make it, does that count?

S How would you have it count? For or against? Negative or positive?

Q For.

S You give a nebulous question, and yet we can give an answer of sorts that may be meaningful to the questioner. If you, in truth, make a choice, though not from the heart of self, not from the spirit, but through that which is the mind, the intelligence, then it is a fair choice. If, on the other hand, you have made the choice, fair though it may be, and find it wanting or to be changed by the induction of the spiritual into the mind, then, again, you have another step to make. All in the positive. For ever, ever is it seen, the positive side. But, if you make a choice for that which the intellect sees as best for the mind, the intellect, and the body, and not for the spiritual self (which in reality is for thy brothers and thy sisters), then you are wrong, though you have that opportunity to make regress, rechoice. But remember: if you are as he who is the betrayer and the time comes for the regress and it has passed, and ye then turn, ye have lost the opportunity.

Q I meant if you make a choice that you want to be pleasing to God.

S As given in the first part of our answer.

Matthew 27:34

They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

S Forever is it conscious within yourself to take within self, even as given, a drink – even if it is for the mind, for the body. Even those thoughts would lead astray, even as gall here, or that which is the opiate, or that which comes from the poppy, or the poppy seed, see (was called gall then), to dim that which is the pain. Ye cannot hide, in truth, from that which is the pain of the shearing of that which are your bonds to the mental, physical, emotional man. Ye must be as He who faced the truth, though painful, though He knew what must come in all ways, the leaving of the body, that which was the dividing then to its devices, the mind, the intellect, and the physical body, and the separating from them of that which is the spiritual being, to be upon its way. Ye, too, in your time, in your way, must find the strength not to seek that which are the byways, or go around, or circumnavigate that which ye must face, that which ye must overcome.

Q Can this be applied to many people to various serious illnesses?

S Not especially. You see, this is a mental thing. What we speak of now is that which people seek and hide from that which they are and they face. It is not to say that those times that ye take those drugs under surgery, burns, what have you, to delete or diminish the pain. For remember: the subconscious mind records all pain and cannot be dulled. Therefore, ye suffer as much in the subconscious as ye would in the physical, though relieved in the physical, or your understanding to the intellectual mind.

Matthew 27:35

And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, “They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.”

S You have here, then, authority of the land, or authority without of self, parting that which are as the spiritual facts, the spiritual realm that is established within self. You have that here which is the crucifixion which is of Roman device – Rome being that which is the mind, or the intellect, or the power and authority of same as governed by the forces of the will. The will and the mind in authority, crucifying that which happens to each and every individual the raising in self of the spiritual, which must then overcome to love and mercy and forgiveness. For even on the cross He asked for mercy. For even on the cross He gave mercy, so saying, ‘Father, I condemn them not. They know not what they do.

Q 0n the physical level, is that cloth that is venerated in Germany as being the original garment truly that?

S No.

Q May we be told if Jesus’ robe is still in existence and where is it?

S Part of the robe is in existence – all the right side, threefourths of the left side. It resides in that which you would term Greek Orthodox, though it is in that which is as Jordan, in a monastery at this time. Best left alone, however.

Q Do they realize what they have?

S They are aware of what that is that they have. Yes.

Q Why do you say it is best left alone?

S For it would cause much consternation in an area that already has too much to bear at this time. [10-46, 5-1378]

Matthew 27:36-38

And sitting down they watched him there; And set up over his head his accusation written, “This is Jesus the King of the Jews.” Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

S Who are the thieves that would be crucified, even in crucifying the spiritual? Of course, that of the mind- intellectual and that of the will.

Matthew 27:39-40

And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, and saying, “Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

S Does not this happen a thousand, yea, a million times a day, as the thoughts and the tongues of mankind would tear, would slash at those who seek to find the way? Those thoughts within self and those actions of self that attack the spiritual nature of self are those that pass and wag their heads and revile him.

Matthew 27:41-43

Likewise, also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, “He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”

S Ever it is the established thought, whether it be religious or otherwise, or the philosophy that each and every individual lives by, attacks that which is as the Christian principle, or the Christ Force, or the spiritual qualities of an individual. So, it is here. They call upon that, they laugh, they chide, and yet even they, those acts of self, may be forgiven. Even as He called upon the forgiveness of the Father when those that did to Him those things.

Matthew 27:44

The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

S Here is your mind, your ego, your intellect, and that which is as will, even in the destruction of itself, calling upon that which is as the spiritual nature as that which is the failure, the fool.

Matthew 27:45-46

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is to say, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”

S The sixth hour, hour of learning to that which is the finishing or the ninth hour, that which is the overcoming. And here again we would remind you of what was happening at that time the tearing asunder of that which was as the flesh, the physical man, into one separate body; the leaving behind of that which was the mental man and that which, then, is the intellect and the mind, the will; and the pulling away and the salvation, then, of the spiritual man. How then else could He not have cried out in such a manner? For such is the trauma of the total understanding of a physical-mental body, yet must be shed, that the spiritual nature must go forth before that which is as the raising up of the body, or that which was as the spiritualizing of the body. Though each and every cell knew that at that time its Christ Force, its soul body, its God, was being taken from it. How else could that body, that mind call out?

Matthew 27:47-49

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, “This man calleth for Elias.” And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. The rest said, “Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

S Is this not then what always happens within man in those times of tribulation? Even at that time of the crucifixion within yourselves, will the thoughts, will the emotions run this way, that way. And what wins out? Not that which is as the mercy, but that which is the curiosity, or the self, seeking to find out what will happen.

Matthew 27:50-53

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

S Here, then, is that which will happen within self, within the soul forces and bodies of each and every individual, when that time of crucifixion occurs, when that which is the casting aside of the body, the intellect (that is earthbound intellect), and that which are the mind forces that are of the ego nature, or the material world, are cast aside and the truth of thy being is released. Ye have served your fellow man. Ye have given of yourself. Therefore, the temple which is as an earthly temple is rendered, ripped; the veil is cast aside, the truth is known within self. For the pituitary has triumphed, the cup runneth over, in truth, and that which are yourselves, your saintly virtues, and all that is, is brought forth, that it may be known to you and walk upon the land that is the truth and basis for that which is the raising up of others.

Q Did this really happen?

S Yes. Much to the consternation, especially of the brave Roman soldiers who faced these things – did not give ground, though they were awestruck and terror-struck. Much to the consternation and tremendous fear of the priests and others, the rabble who ran. Oh, yes. And who could the high priest explain to, that which happened in the temple? For more than just the rending happened, you see. For that which were as the Torahs, that which was as the altar itself was shattered.

Q What did Jesus say when He cried out before He died?

S He called to His father, in even as that which (are) the western Gospels give, rather than the eastern. He asked His Father why He had been abandoned. For the body was abandoned, you see, of the Father. The mind was abandoned when the spiritual body left itself.

Q I thought that referred to the first thing at the ninth hour. But the Gospels tell us that as He died, He cried out in a loud voice. What did He cry?

S Once again, He called out the same thing as before.

Q Who are meant by the saints?

S Those that have come into that which is the understanding through the sacrifice of their own egos, and yet have not risen to that which is the total overcoming. These are as those who quite commonly are called the White Brotherhood, but are saints. [1045, 5-7-78]

Matthew 27:54

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God.”

S This is (very) a small amount of what was said at that time, and, yet the essence is the truth. And this is what that which is the authority or the power within self will know, as that which is the spiritual quality of self comes forth. There has been in that which ye have been given to read, created, or has been created, an error. The error, you see, is that which is given as the resurrection. For was not the time of resurrection – which was to be.

Matthew 27:55-56

And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee‘s children.

S Here you have that which is the loyal following. You have those aspects within each and every individual that will follow the path, regardless of where it leads. They will remain loyal and true. Whereas others fled, those remained true. For even at that time, before the crucifixion, when He was arrested and bound, and those that were the disciples, or the apostles, ran, or were forced to run as in the case of John – those that stayed, though jostled and hurried, were as those, just as given. For they were women or youths of the time, and left alone, and, yet, showed that which is the persistence which must be within selves, the persistence of the mind. For whom is more persistent than the female logic, or the female way within these matters? Whereas the brute force, or the intellectual, is as of the man, so the persistence and the holding quality lies within the female aspect, or aspects, of each and every individual.

Q The total resurrection that you referred to would be Monday. Is that what you have made reference to?

S This is correct. For that which is the raising from even the grave, or the tomb, was not that of the full resurrection. For how else would He not let them touch Him?

Matthew 27:5760

When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple: He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed.

S Here you have the representation in that man, Joseph, of that which is the true religious understanding, the true religious search, and faith, as one. It is wisdom. It is that which is knowledge used.

Q Is there any truth in the legends of Arimathea and Mary in England?

S No, not as Mary that ye know. But there were those who came in the name of Mary. Of Joseph, yes. There was rhyme and reason, you see, for that which you would know as Christianity started in that area before it was greatly established within that which you would call the Middle East Turkey, Greece, and Italy too. [10-46, 5-13-78]

Matthew 27:61

And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulcher.

S Here you have those aspects, once again, that which holds within itself the loyalty, the love, the ideal, the idea – and makes it so.

Q Who is the other Mary?

S Ye have Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother, and Mary of Bethany. Commonly, in the scriptures, Mary Magdalene is spoken of as the other Mary.

Matthew 27:6266

Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, “Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, ‘After three days I will rise again.’

Command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.”  Pilate said unto them, “Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.” So they went, and made the sepulcher sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

S Here you have that which is always in authority the body. Always that which will prevail in times of trial, tribulation, or in short, selfishness, as that which seeks to guard from the truth coming to that which is the mental, or the body of self, or even from others. It is representational here even as that time of those who would fight or divest themselves of that which is the spiritual, or the true spirit, and hide behind organization, selves, mental imaging, what have you, but denying that which is the Christ – if they can.
