Matthew 9:1-8

And he entered into a ship, passed over, and came into his own city. And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; “Son, be of cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee”. And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, “This man blasphemeth”. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, “Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, ‘Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?’ But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins”, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) “Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house”. And he arose and departed to his house. But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

S Here, then, is the promise of mercy, the promise of love, the breaking of that which is the karmic debt in that which is the awakening within self, the understanding that even ye who are sick (for all are sick who are separated from God, or know not the fullness of God), even ye who are controlled by the mind, or the aware mind (even as the scribes or the Pharisees are representational of this element), are dominated by that which is the intellect, which rationalizes and reasons in a pattern of man or human thought rather than that which is the spiritual thought. Even that may be thrust aside by the awakening and ye may be made whole. And that which is the past and present or the negative karma may be washed away and the promise is that ye may arise and behold in that which is the spiritual being with him who is the spiritual being for this world – Jesus the Christ.

Matthew 9:9-13

And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, “Follow me.” And he arose and followed him. And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, “Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?” But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, “They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance”.

S The promise again renewed, that in the awakening as represented in Matthew, the awakening of that which is the spirit within, or is that which is the awakening in the mental, or that which is the first power to be as a follower of the Christ, will lead thee past that which is as the intellect, the mind, the will that is dedicated to the body, to the material, to that which is this plane. Therefore, arise within selves. Be as the one who follows and becomes whole that ye may serve the living God by being that which is as a ladder, a means for thy brother, thy sister to climb from that which is this plane to that which are the planes above, that which are the planes of love, mercy. For this is a promise of grace. This is the word of grace, that the karmic wheel may be cast aside for each and every individual if they so desire.

Q Was He repudiating the Pharisees here because of the approach that they had, namely, that they were not helping those that needed the help?

S This is the mind, the rationalization of the mind, as given before as that which is establishing within itself a certain reasoning, a certain mode, as you would. Yes, they rationalized in their mentality that that was far better to wash at a certain time, to eat a certain food, to have incense at a certain time, to pray at a certain time, to follow the rules and regulations of man, rather than the first rule of God: love thy neighbor as thyself.

Q Was the tax collector given the name Matthew by Jesus or did he have that name before he met Jesus?

S Was given that name by Jesus, also being a Levi.

Matthew 9:14-1 7

Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?” And Jesus said unto them, “Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

S Here is the promise. Here is that which is telling you that as you awaken spiritually you become something new, not the old, not that which is chained or may burst, but something new that may ascend and be whole. For often it is misunderstood by those that live in this time, this plane at this time, that by word of mouth, by sacrifice of the body, by fasting of the body, ye are made whole and clean. It is by sacrifice and fasting of the spirit that ye are made whole and clean. Therefore, you may feed your body with that which it needs as nourishment, that which it needs as drink. But it is through prayer and meditation that ye establish within the self the sacrifice of that which is the fasting of the spirit. For even as you are fed in that which is meditation you are sacrificing the spirit of man within self to the spiritual being of God within self. The body is that which is the illusion of the spirit of man within each and every individual. It is not a concoction of God.

Q At this time the bridegroom that is referred to is Jesus Himself?

S This is Jesus who refers to Himself as the bridegroom. For He was the one who wedded that which is the Christ, even as ye may wed the Christ.

Q. Married to truth?

S This is the truth.

Matthew 9:18–22

While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying,” My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.” And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. And behold, a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, “If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole”. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

S Here you have the ruler, or that which is the mind which rules the body, realizing that that which is as the seeking within self is dead, calling upon the Christ to awaken that which is the seeking. And in doing so, brings forth that which is as the calcified or the misused pairs, or twelve pairs of cranial nerves, or those which are as that which is the force within the body that must have the harmony to bring forth, then, that which is the flow within the body of the endocrine system, the more, in that which is the balance, being restored, then, in the purity and no longer that which drains away the life force or vitality as represented here in blood.

Matthew 9:23–26

And when Jesus came into the ruler‘s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, He said unto them,” Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth”. And they laughed him to scorn. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. And the fame here of went abroad into all the land.

S Even as the Christ, coming into the mind, or becoming focalized in the mind, would find that that which ye may think is dead is only slumbering. For the search is never dead- not even in the lowliest of individuals. Remember that. Even in the lowest of individuals it lives. lt may slumber. And it can be awakened by the bringing into the pattern of the mind that which is the spiritual or that which is the Christ Force. Therefore, then, cast aside those mocking thoughts, those thoughts that would lead self, astray, those desires that would pull, and taunt, and destroy or cover that which is as the awakening, that the awareness of the Christ, of God, might be known throughout the body, throughout the mind, that every atom, every molecule, every cell within thy being will rejoice in the awakening of the Lord God within the individual.

Matthew 9:27–31

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, “Thou son of David, have mercy on us”. And when he was come into the house, the blindmen came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” They said unto him, “Yea, Lord.” Then touched he their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it unto you.” And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, “See that no man know it”. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

S Even that which is blind may see through that which is the spirit of God. Even the most blind, profane human may have the awakening through the Christ and yet broadcast it not. For men are men and would declare it to be of the human rather than the spiritual. But proclaim it by the actions of faith, declaring it through thy love and thy religious outlet, whether it be thine own prayers alone or in the congregations that ye attend with. But worship God, not that which is the mental, the mental man.

Matthew 9:32-34

As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with devil. And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marveled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

S Those who see the works are those who have been even as this dumb – within their lives. Dumb being not able to speak and dumb being that which are the mental activities of being not one that would declare God within the actions. There are those who always would decry, then, the awakening of the Holy Spirit and ye would have that fight within your own mind, your own being. For these are those times of up and the downs, where the part of the mind would cry forth, ”this is not reality but that which is a fool‘s errand” ( or the devil, or satan, or what have you). This is that of the ego that would declare to the world, “it is not so.” But the mind, the personality as the ego sees it, is the epitome. Cast it not aside. But those who awaken and those who find tongue know that which is the truth. The Holy Spirit is that which is the guide, the way, and the life.

Matthew 9:35-38

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest”.

S Here you have a twofold meaning. First, you must go throughout thine own body to declare the glory, the power of God, that the diverse evils that are within self may be cleansed and purged. Then, as ye are cleansed and purged, ye may help thy brother, thy sister. It does not mean that ye cannot help your brother, your sister, even before you are cleansed. For who is cleansed? But it is the cleansed person that can heal another‘s needs by their actions, where[as] the uncleansed person that seeks, that is awake, that is aware, may help, especially materially and mentally, but not so greatly through the spirit, for the spirit cannot be used the more through those who are not as cleansed.

Q Do we ever have a right to withhold some of this information from individuals who really don’t defend the truth when they‘ve had it?

S Has there not been given: “Cast not thy pearls before swine?‘‘ And in the understanding here, it is available, even as this has been available since the beginning of time. But how few have used it. How few have sought it. Seek, then, those who self would know, those who would come to self in truth. Give them the information. Let that which is the intuitive within self, make that which is the choice – not judgment, but choice.

Q Concerning the conception of Jesus by Mary “through the mentally,‘ should that be ”mentality‘‘?

S Mentally and mentality are the same.

Q In the same reading we were given the date of Jesus‘ birth in our present calendar as being 3 A.D. In the Cayce readings it was given a number of times as being 4 B.C. Which is correct?

S Both. It depends as that which ye stand and see it as, see? Closer to 3 A.D. in that which is as time is counted now. That which is seen before, through Cayce, first was as the Gregorian, and secondly (and third time) as to that which is by distortion of time as is seen through this plane. For this plane is the time plane and those within the time move at different speeds. Can you understand? Each entity of the billions of entities that live upon the earth plane develop and move and exist in different time patterns. Therefore, if a reading is given through an entity that adjusts to a certain time pattern, it is apt that ye will get the distortion that the entity lives within rather than a strict, straight rule line. We are now looking at that which is more as, or the greatest possible, through this channel, as to that which is the straight, strict line, or as close as it can be computed through this entity.

Q There were also different dates, months and days, given for the birthdate through Cayce. 1 presume this applies to that. Can you give us a closer month and date of His birth in our present calendar?

S The closest as that which we can give that has application through that which we have explained is as January 5/6, approximately midnight, going into that which is one minute into January 6.

Q This is the period that has been recognized in lots of legends. There is a legend that the cattle all bow down at midnight on January the 6th–an old, old legend. It presumably sterns from this.

S Correct.

Q In the same reading the Source has said, ”His people are these people who have been those who believed in the Law of One.‘‘  In the Cayce readings the Law of One usually applied to the time of Atlantis. Through the time since then, has the Law of One meant anything other than the belief in the one God?

 S This is that which promises: a Savior will arise to lead that which are the people who believe in one God, one path, one light, one Savior, one ending, one being, one universal – the Law of One.

Q I thought there was more than one path, that every path would lead into the same path.

S All paths lead into the one path, to the one ending of one God.

Q Must all things be in threes in order to be in harmony because we are in a three-dimensional plane?

S This is correct. But this plane to be in total harmony in the body becomes the sevens, even as given as seventh heaven, seven planes, seven centers. Though the triad is the three upper centers – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Q Are there seven dimensions?

S Not in this plane, but there are seven heavens, that once they are in balance within the body of self, then that which is the flow to the upper three, or through the upper three, allows self to glimpse that which are the seven heavens. And remember, beyond that is totality of God.

Q Is there a physical realm and a spiritual realm for each one of the seven planes?

S Correct, and as given before in readings: then, as ye go to that which is the higher, the lower become no more. But the forces of same that are of the positive are drawn up to the top three, or that which is the triad heavens, or that which is the triad centers within the body, and beyond this plane.

Q Does the thyroid correspond to the Holy Spirit?

S Correct.

Q And which is the Father and which is the Son?

S The pituitary and pineal in that order.

Q Is this actually in these glands, or are these glands linked to a vibratory center?

S Oh, you opened Pandora’s box! Oh, how to explain. You draw within self from the outer self, or the outer planes into that which are the higher planes within self, or the higher environs that are representational and are actualities of the three centers, once you pull in, even as time convolutes into itself, into that through a corkscrew pattern, through those three centers, drawing towards one, and evolving to that which is beyond the body-physical, mental, and the body–spiritual within this plane. ln other words, you come in, you convolute, you become one, you actually explode outward and encompass all that is in the planes beyond. See? Pandora’s box.

Q Is 1232 [helped develop atomic bomb] on the right track, basically, in pursuing this line of thought, attempting to provide, in terminology that we can understand, an understanding of some of these things?

S Basically correct.

Q It has been mentioned several times that those who do not make it will lose their personalities and their individualities, going back into the God essence. About what proportion of souls does this happen to?
