Revelation 3: Churches' Trials: Symbols of Spiritual GrowthThis document provides a spiritual interpretation of Revelation Chapter 3, focusing on Churches’ Trials: Symbols of Spiritual Growth; messages to the rest of the  seven churches, emphasizing themes of spiritual awakening, repentance, divine judgment, and the promise of salvation. It delves into the symbolic meanings of the churches’ conditions and the author’s counsel to them, exploring the deeper spiritual lessons for personal growth and transformation.

Revelation 3:1

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; “I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.”

S Man has not followed that which is the path. Given the tools, the tools have been used wrongly. The center, that governs the will in man has not responded, or in a sense has responded only to that which mankind has felt a satisfaction with. This is the misuse of that which are the powers within individuals and in groups.

Q Is that how we live, yet are dead?

S Yes, because then that which is the true awakening of the spiritual has not been accomplished. Therefore, life is not present.

Revelation 3:2

“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.”

S That is, then, walking step-by-step as the Master of Life did and showed explicitly in His life. All things were done, though spontaneous as they may seem to be, in the thought of God and the realization that all around was of God. Therefore, in selves, hold on to that which you have knowledge of, and that is the Christ in action, God in all forms. And then as you begin to strive and stride in this manner, so that which are the understandings beyond these meager things that you know or grasp to become the greater and the leads go out and pull in, then, all of that which are the rules, the helps, the songs, the angelic host, the saints, the thoughts – love itself.

Q Please expound upon the seven items of “the rules, the helps, the songs, the angelic host, the saints, and the thoughts – love itself.”

S As there is the development within an individual’s way and means and the opening up of those centers as known as the akashic or karmic centers of the body, the spiritual centers of the body, each representing, then, a plane of understanding, a plane of achievement, there are those myriad of saints, angels, et cetera, that respond and correspond to each level, each opening, each individual endocrine center, each spiritual faculty that is played upon. Imagine the body as a harp with that which you raise within yourself or achieve within yourself (one and the same in the actions and thoughts of an individual) as playing across the strings of said instrument to bring forth, then, a melody of achievement which in itself is a paean of praise and love to the Creative Force that is within and thus without.

Q Is there a key of achievement through this melody of achievement?

S Oh, yes.

Q What is the key of achievement?

S The entity will know when the entity has achieved. You play upon the harp, on the strings of the heart, each and every chord of life. And from those chords come that which is the melody. Yes, for all things there is a key. Keep working, have faith – and you will play a beautiful tune.

Q Well, then, are these seven items in order from the lowest center to the highest?

S As the harpist’s hands begin always at the most outer reach, working in, so then is the stage, each stage, a matter of interpretation as to which is lower and which is higher. As you have been taught, as you raise within yourself the forces, then, towards the summit of the body, you are approaching the higher. And it is conceivable, then, in your mind, that this is the path, this is the raising of the forces, and these are the stages and the elements. And yet we cannot give a direct “yes” or “no” to this question. For as the cup runneth over, there is created, then, that which is as the circular motion or movement, (whether or) where there is no lower, no upper, but a continuous flow, always being, then, that which is the apex. Understand?

Q Is this what is meant by being a co-creator with God?

S This is correct. [10-114]

Q What are the things which remain that are ready to die?

S That which is the body of self as expressed through the endocrine system – withered, calcified, shoved aside. How many, how many a thymus is misused or not used? How many a pituitary or pineal lie withered and calcified? And many a thyroid used wrongly.

Revelation 3:3

“Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”

S Think again, think again. For the Kingdom of God is at hand, if you would have it to be so. Or would you be found wanting at a moment’s notice at the throne of God? This, then, is as we have given so often: walk as the Master would walk; think as the Master would think; look at all things through His eyes – if you dare.

Revelation 3:4

“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.”

S You have deeds; you have thoughts; you have actions. Even in those that you would term to be the lowly people, the brutal people, the  selfish people, there are those good things. These are what you build upon. These are the pure and good things, though clothed in a body that is for naught, in that which is a personality that is gross. Yet there is the past; there is that which is held within self, the spiritual being, waiting to be released, to be nurtured.

Q These “few names not defiled”, are the ones who have not fallen below the fifth spiritual center?

S It is true, plus the fact that individuals have acquired in their line of ascent those times that their names were linked as a spiritual life. And those lives of descent must be reconstructed, rebuilt that they may then become that which is part of the song of self, the name of names, and be that which rises rather than falls.

Q What is meant by “walking with me in white”?

S This is walking with God, walking with that which is God as represented in Jesus Christ in the purity of love and deed. This is pure thought. For God is pure thought, touching that which is as a vibration. Or, as vibrations are lower than the pure thought, they are the actions, the goodness, and the names of those times, those split instances within life spans, where entities have done that which is the will of God, knowingly or unknowingly to the conscious mind.

Q Is white associated with the fifth spiritual center?

S Yes.

Revelation 3:5-6

“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

S This is the great promise. This is the resurrection. This is the awakening. This is the revelation. When you have achieved to that where Jesus the Christ, as resurrected, touches you with that which is the resurrection and wipes away all that is the negative (and you may redo, rebuild, and reconstitute that which are the lives that you have done the negative in, the actions of negativity within those lives, straighten) and becoming that which is the positive, then you may approach the throne of God, hand in hand with that which is the Christ.

Q Would this redoing be done in other manners other than like the example given where those are in constant prayer and meditation?

S You actually go back into, well, you would consider time, through planes, and redo those incidents, remove them, that they no longer are a stumbling block for others, and you have removed the stumbling blocks they have thrown in front of you.

Q How is this accomplished without changing our history?

S Your history – you can’t even have it straight. You can’t find two authorities that really agree on your history. What nations agree on their history as presented by the other nations? Really none. History is a nothing. History is that which justifies to mankind their actions, their thoughts, their deeds. It is not a record. For the record lies within. The akashic records are true history if you would have them be. We have given before in the readings that when you have removed these from the life stream of others, the others do not know same until they, too, have come to that point where they are resurrected. In a sense, since there is no time, there is no history as you would understand history to be.

Q Would you actually relive these events or do you just remake them within your mind?

S You go into that which is the time and place. You cross, then, the boundaries that you have used in time, in space, enter into that which is the situation, and remove the situation.

Q Now, is this done in meditation on this plane?

S No. What is done in meditation in this plane is removal or reconstruction of thought forms, thought patterns. We are not talking about crossing over through time, through space, into that which is the spiritual ray where you may enter into the actual happening as you are doing it, revising your actions, and removing the negative. Though others may not see it, though others may not know it, it is not in your past any longer. It is gone. Grace has removed it. Grace has washed it clean. The blood of the Lamb is that which is the spiritual ray that reaches out that you may undo that which is the negative you have caused to self and others throughout all time, all places, to all things, whether it be as human things, thoughtforms, planets, molecular beings, atomic structures, wavelengths, radiation, what have you.

Q We will be very aware that we are doing this, or will we just be doing it on a higher plane, not our conscious minds?

S You’ll be there! You’ll be resurrected! This means you are out of this except as one who may touch others as the Christ has touched others, even as He touches some now.

Q Is this, then, the blotting out of the name out of the Book of Life?

S It is putting the name into the true Book of Life. Blotting out is that which removes the name, saying you are no longer subject to the resurrection but are in a sense handcuffed to this earth.

Revelation 3:7

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

S The key of David is the key to love as brothers must love. Here, Philadelphia represents that which is your love center or the love centers that exist in those places around this earth where spiritual things are done, where the spiritual message is given forth, where the spiritual learning is enacted and acted upon. The door that never closes is the heart of God which is pure love-thought.

Q What is the key of David?

S The key of David is in that time when you, as an individual, truly find brotherly love. You then open the door that no man can shut upon you. For their actions no longer will influence that which is the inner being of self. Only self can shut this door, then. For you are in hand with the Christ Force.

Q When William Penn founded the city of Philadelphia in the United States, my understanding, then: he based that name on this Philadelphia – that mentioned here as the city of brotherly love. It’s strange to me that it happens to tie in the same way.

S No. William Penn was a spiritualist in heart, a mystic really; was a man who was guided by his dreams and interpreted his dreams and lived in a very spiritual, guided way. Though he was a politician, though he was a man of the world, yet understood the metaphysical world very well.

Revelation 3:8

“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.”

S You that follow in the path of the Christ, you that believe have opened the door. None can shut it. Your strength is that of belief in that which is the Son of Man; that there is a key, and that key is love; that your foundation is faith; that you must believe and do believe.

Q What is meant by “has not denied my name?”

S These are those who have lived in that which is the work or the promise, who know and live by that which are the laws of Moses, the commandments of God, the directions of Jesus (the Way and the Light). This is knowing the name. [10-113]

And with this we give that which is our love, our blessing, and leave you, then, with this thought: believe, love, so you may forgive and forget that which ye have done to others or others have done to you that is less than the Christ at work.

RAM Reading 10-113

Prayer – Channel

Beloved Lord, we gather at this time to feel Thy love, to express Thy will and to be as Your tools, to give to others that which is Your way, your truth, your light, as You would give us to do. And we ask that our Elder Brother be that which is our guide, our leader, our help at this time.

Behold, I will send to you Elijah, the prophet, before the great and dreadful day of the Lord. This I have promised. This I have done. Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world, He that is clothed in white. The blood of the Lamb has been shed for thee. Then awaken, awaken, for we are here.

Q What is meant by “the great and dreadful day of the Lord”?

S There is a dual meaning here. For some it will be a dreadful day. For in that time when the judgment of judgments comes before self and self then is jury and judge, in a position that cannot seek solace from any source at that time, it will be a great and dreadful day. But for others who have achieved, who have worked, who have striven for that which is the Lord’s Day, dreadful here means that, then, which is full of that which is the force and power of God; rather than having the negative connotations is filled then with the positive connotations. And once self has met this day, then you stand before the throne of God Himself to know that which is the word, the strength, the beauty of the resurrection in total. [10-114]

Q Was John partially christed?

S At what time do you speak?

Q The time of Revelation.

S At the time of Revelation, he that is known as John was exposed to that which was the christing, not having earned or not having been given that which is opportunity or that which is the movement of the christing. And yet the knowledge is the same, the understanding is the same. For John then shared the mind and that which was the awareness of Jesus the Christ as risen.

Q What is meant by “the movement of the christing”?

S You have here, then, all things are in flux or movement. You have, then, the musical refrain which is movement and this is then that which we would use to make you understand what movement then is. You have movement atomically within your body, especially in that which are the electrons, the protons, and the neutrons. And the movement of same which is, in a sense, disharmonic at this time, and yet in that which is the raising of the forces and the acceptance of the forces in the overcoming of the forces of this plane, becomes that which is in harmony of movement as you would find in music, reaching towards that, then, which is the climactic, or that which is the ascension to the force of God. This, then, is the meaning of movement. [10-114]

Q Please explain a partial christing.

S A partial christing is that where the knowledge and abilities are shared, as the one would switch on a light – not being the light but switching on the light and receiving same.

Q Please clarify the word “host” as used in the last reading.

S The host here has several meanings. First, that which is the gathering into and of, in the magnitude of number or that which is as a being, and that, then, which is the holder, the carrier, the purveyor.

Q Does this refer to the same thing that the Cayce readings gave about the secret teachings that were hidden away and would be found at the right time? Is the arrival of the Master again the right time?

S This is the correct time, yes.

Q Buddha was called the Enlightened One. Was he also on the sixth level?

S Buddha was that which transferred and transformed from level-to-level because of that which were the accomplishments of the entity, and the fact that the entity was on a mission that gave the entity the ability or the privilege of assuming, then, that which is one who would step from step-to-step.

Q Was Buddha born of woman?

S That one which you would call Buddha in that incarnation was formed, then, in this plane as a vehicle for that which was the soul force of the one that took the name or the standing of Buddha, not conceived as Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Nor was that one formed by the union of mankind, but rather injected into that which was this earth plane into subjective matter, used then for that which was as the Buddha and the Buddha’s incarnation within this realm or plane.

Q Did he appear then as a full-blown adult, or as a child, or an infant?

S The entity went through the stages from infancy to that which you would call adulthood. [10-114]

Q Did he reach the sixth level?

S Indeed.

Q If resurrection and revelation are synonymous, did Jesus the Christ have at His resurrection the same revelation experiences as John?

S No. For that which is as for the individual is always of and for the individual. In generality there are the similarities. For John could understand, through the use of the mind and spirit of Jesus, becoming one with Him, that which was as the revelation, the resurrection. And yet, being as a separate entity as all who remain outside of that which is God Himself, cannot then experience the totality or that which is the individual act and reception of the act.

Q We are told that at the time of resurrection we are able to go back and correct past errors. How does forgiveness fit in with this?

S Forgiveness is that which you might term: greases the slides that you may move the more, paves the road, opens the door.

Q When John died, did he experience the same type of death that humans, that we experience, or was it a different type of experience?

S All experience death in degrees as they accomplish, or that which they have met and overcome in each period within this earth. As to that which was John, he was as opening the window, stepping through the door, taking a deeper breath, absorbing the light, hearing the music. For it was not that which you would call the traumatic change, the sleep change. For then the valley of the shadow of death for John was not a valley, not a shadow, but an awakening, a stepping through, a stepping forward, a lifting up, greeted by, then, a host of those that were of the Lord and by Him, Jesus the Christ.

Q Well, then that’s the type of death that souls experience just before they’re christed, or reach the state that John reached, similar to that anyway?

S Similar, not only in that stage but sometimes in other stages. For the greater accomplishment, the narrower the gap, the lighter the passage, the greater the greeters.

Q What is meant by “the greater the greeters?

S It is a matter that you would associate with `peerage’ upon this plane. It is a matter of hierarchy as you would find it upon this plane. Though God has created all equal, there are those who have advanced farther. There are also those personalities that are angelic, that have the ranking or authority or position closer to that which is the will, the way, or the Creative Force. These, then, would be termed, for you, the greater. [10-131]

Revelation 3:9

“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”

S This is in reference to those who have gone astray and worship the body, who lust for the life of this plane, who find their direction, their timing, their doing, as dictated by the wants, the powers, the thought of this plane, who then will be put forward into the light, thrust before that which is the throne, that they may have their choice of which way they will go or whom they will serve.

Revelation 3:10

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

S There are temptations. There are desires. There are those things of God and those things that you would term the antichrist. And each hour, each day, you make, then, the decisions within yourselves as to that which you would serve – the ways of God or the ways of man. If you then turn, in faith, to the Master of Life, to the Master of Love, yes, to the Lamb, He then will bear thee up. For never are your burdens too great for Him. Never are you lost from His helping hand, His helping thought, His breath. For life is that which He breathes into you. And He is ever aware, then, of your needs. Fear not, for it is given in times of old that though your soul may be heaped with burning coals, it is naught, for He is with you. Then, lest you forget in the time of temptation, tribulation, the Christ is ever with you. Know that this is a gift – a gift of love, a gift of giving – that He has instituted into that which is the creation that He is so rightfully the Master of.

Q What is “the word of my patience”?

S The word of my patience is the reminder that patience is as a loving attitude of God. For you have understood in days of old, in the times of the prophets, “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” You have understood, then, the wrath of the Lord. Thus it is being said, God also gives His patience. His patience is the Christ. The Christ, then, is there to be that which is the buffer between you and that which you have earned.

Q Please define “the wrath of God.”

S Well, the wrath of God is twofold – wrath being as also in times past meaning “ghost” or “ghostly” or that which was spiritual or spirit, and yet for some, wrath meaning rage or anger, too. For they would see that which is the karmic relationship, or that of “an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” being as the wrath of God. And even the gentle love that God puts forth to those who have earned that which is the grace could be wrathful as some see it, you see, or interpret it to be. For it is then the changing of the image they would have for themselves or be or the actions that they would attune or attain to as individuals, being selfish, self-centered, or not developed into that which is the spiritual sense of things.

Q Would the way you use “wrath” be the same term that we say “wraith”?

S Yes. [10-114]

Revelation 3:11

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

S Let not that which is your own impetuousness, your own weakness, throw that which is given you away. For the crown is the crown of life, a crown of glory. It is the Christ imbued within you. Let then the speed be of God. Let the force be of love, lest you lose that which you have so long been in forging and was given at such a cost to you.

Revelation 3:12-13

“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

S This is the prophet of the Lord. This is the Christ of the Lord. This is the way, the truth. This is the light. For He has given you the opportunity to become one of His, that you will be named the name and walk in the city of the Lord that His outstretched glory will touch upon you. For the Christ is between you and God. Therefore the bridge is set, the promise is made. Now it is for you to assume, then, the mantle rather than slip into the dark.

Q What is meant by, “I will write upon him my new name”?

S That is salvation. That is the rebuilding, the rebirth of what you were intended to be, what you really are, and what you shall be.

Q Where is the new Jerusalem to be found when it comes down from heaven? Does it have both the physical and the spiritual?

S It is that which is the spiritual, then changed by the spiritual within

yourselves to all that surrounds you, even as was given to Moses that the ground he stood upon was holy. Therefore, the new Jerusalem will be where you are.

Revelation 3:14-15

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.”

S You have been told in other readings, you have been reminded of that which you knew in days of old, that you must make a choice, you must have action. Whether it be to that which you would see as the positive or the negative, you must make the choosing. You may not proclaim yourself to be a Christian. You may not call yourself evil. And yet, if you do not make a determined stand, select a path and act upon it, then you are that which is the loser. This was a warning that occurred in actuality at that time. But it is also a warning and a reminder to you of this time, this day.

Q Did you say we cannot proclaim ourselves a Christian?

S You cannot proclaim yourself a Christian without being a Christian. For in doing so you are lying if you are not Christian within. But then measure in yourselves what is a Christian to you.

Q In the phrase, “These things saith the Amen,” what is meant by the “Amen”?

S He that is Jesus the Christ arisen in that which is the seat of glory or that which is in command or as Lord of Lords, King of Kings of this realm.

Q If Laodicea represents the pituitary center, which is the highest center, how do the works that are lukewarm relate to this?

S This means that in being subject, then, to that which is, to be subjective to that which is the power of the center, must be in the actions and the fulfilling of that which are the motives that got you to that position, rather than that which would be to sit back and let that which is the glory of the Lord be absorbed, be nonused, but for self.

Revelation 3:16

“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

S This is the casting aside, the taking away, then, that which is the glory of God as proclaimed through Jesus the Christ. This is the falling away. This is as you would term to be the depth of hell. Yet know this: whether thou beeth in the depths of hell, He is with thee. For this also is a promise and the law. He, the Christ, will not leave you until God Himself has taken you back.

Revelation 3:17

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”

S The illusion, the illusion. In this day, this time, as we see your realm, as we look upon that which you call the earth, we see those who are destitute and miserable, by your standards, having more of the spiritual treasures than those we see as living as great and powerful lords and rulers among mankind. We see those that wield the power of mankind as being the blind, the crippled, yea, the fools. For those, then, that live close to the hand of God, to the word of the Lord, live in that extreme of sharing, one with the other, the soul forces rather than the riches of this earth.

Revelation 3:18

“I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.”

S The prophets spoke of that which was the melting down of the silver and gold which was as the tribes themselves to purify and bring forth, then, that which is the greater or the best. So it is spoken of here that the best of the best will be separated, that only the greatest gifts (which are the souls) shall be presented unto God. Therefore, realize you must go through that which is the cauldron, that which is the melting and the molding before you, too, may be presented to that which is the throne of God, the Lord of lords, Grace Itself.

Q What is the “shame of thy nakedness”?

S The shame of thy nakedness is the reality of that which you have lived and been, that which you are living and are, and that which is the being of self. It is the shedding of the ego, the casting aside of the image, and the learning of the reality. In its sense it covers two things: the shock and shame that self in reality receives, and the casting aside of the shock and shame that is the mask that you have developed to be the persona.

Q What is meant by “anoint thine eyes with eye salve”?

S That is to open the understanding, to anoint by faith, by works, that you may truly see and be, rather than be blinded in that which is given – the mask of the persona.

Revelation 3:19

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”

S Woe unto them that think that by their good deeds, by their methods, by their many prayers that they will circumvent that which is the way, which is the truth, which is the crucifixion of the individual, as they must meet their own crucifixion before they are thrust into that which is the crucible that melts, that separates the lesser gold from the finer gold.

Revelation 3:20

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

S What more can be said than the Christ is ever ready to take your hand, to open your eyes, to bear your burden, to enlighten and enthrone you in the position and in the awareness that is yours by act of God and God alone.

Revelation 3:21-22

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

S “I am the resurrection and the life.” These, then, are the words that lift you into His arms, place you on His throne, and present you with life everlasting. Amen and Amen, for it is so.
