Lord God, once again we come before You, knowing in our hearts that love truth and light are only from You. And in our search, we keep before us that which we were given, “Others first, Father, others first.” Oh Lord, for these others give us Thy truth, love, and mercy.

Let your hearts be joyous! For the day of the Lord is at hand. Behold the Lamb of God that in truth does take away the sins of the world. Find then the light, the peace, the truth and love in that which is mercy, that which is the way, that which is the gift.
Revelation 9:1
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
S You have here, the angel that regards that which is the desire within the human. For the desires are of the five senses and you have the bottomless pit or that which is your own personal history, your own person waywardness, your own personal facing of that which must be faced to render self cleansed before the face of God.
Q In Cayce’s explanation of a great star falling from heaven, (reading 281-31) he mentions a one-third portion of the bodily activities. What is meant here?
S It is meant that you face only part of those things which you have done, positive or negative, at a time. For none can face the totality of the misaccomplishments or the accomplishments, of the tours within this earthly system.
Revelation 9:2
And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
S These are the deeds, positive, but oh so many negative that the individual must face, or react to, or overcome the actions for, and turn to the Source of Life and Love within this plane.
Q Is that the smoke you are speaking of?
S This is correct.
Revelation 9:3-4
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
S The locusts here are those forces of the positive, those deeds that are of correctness that overcome the negative karma, the negative actions of self in the various attitudes, opportunities, and lives.
Q As the scorpion can sting itself, does this fit into the situation?
S This is correct. It is yourself stinging yourself, to be sure.
Q What is the seal of God in their foreheads?
S This is the desire that you must get rid of to aspire to God. It is the understanding that God and God alone is that which you would turn to and become one with.
Revelation 9:5-6
And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
S In a time when understanding comes to an individual at this stage, when an entity realizes the waywardness of self and yet has not the ability or the power or the fortitude to overcome that which is the earthliness, then this is the seeking to die, to escape that which is the rending (or the renting) of that which is the fabric of the mind, the personality, as conceived and constructed for that which is this earth plane. It is a time of taking the sting and having no solace, no respite. For it is the time that the individual must bear the fruits of the mislabor. How much better to have overcome before through that which is the grace as given to you by the son of Man
Q The seeking death then is seeking forgetfulness, is that it?
S This is correct. To walk away from that which must be faced, the awareness, the truth.
Q What is the torment of the scorpion when he strikes man?
S This is the facing self and the actions of self that have not been overcome by those positive deeds of self. It is the repeating of the over and over and overness of the same mistakes where repentance has not come into the mind nor in the action of that individual.
Revelation 9:7-8
And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
S You have here representation of those things coming from self, that guidance which may overcome those negative factors within self, that which can be the salvation in this time of stress and sorrow that an individual must meet. For you have the power and staying force of man, the humbleness and love that is of women. You have that which is as represented as horses being those centers of self, coming forward, clothed in that which is the crown of meditation, to then soothe and build the plank, the platform, the ladder, the stepping-stone that the individual may use to find that which is the way, or the Christ.
Revelation 9:9
And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
S This is, in a way, a poetic way of saying that when you have accepted that which is the means to find the Christ, to be of the Christ, you have put on the whole armor – strength (which is the armor) and power (which is the sound) – and you are in that position to achieve to that which is the true desire, God’s desire for you.
Revelation 9:10
And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
S Even as we have said before that the individual must face those hurtful things that the entities have done, that the scorpion tail is the symbol of that which will propel you a little faster, a little more quickly, and even as has been given that these locusts will destroy not that which is green, for this is the life-giving substance of your work, but it will sting those things that are of man – the mind, the ego, et cetera.
Q What is the significance of the five months?
S This is but a short time. But it also stands for the cleansing of the five senses. For desire, as man has epitomized it to be, is through his five senses.
Revelation 9:11
And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
S Abaddon. That which is the destructive force of mankind or the destruction of mankind. But as Apollyon, a destruction that leads to the awakening to that which is the Christ Force, or that which is the redemption of this world by the Word which dwells within each and every individual as the God within.
Q The psalmist also said, “Delight thyself in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart; commit thy way unto Him and He shall bring it to pass.” Does “the desires of thine heart,” mean He gives you Jesus Christ?
S That is the Lord’s desire, which is the desire of your heart
Revelation 9:12
One woe is past; and behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
S This is the understanding that, even as one would be initiated, one must go through steps. It cannot be done as one great massive thing, quickly and over, but must be faced, literally, as each stage the entity has gone through. Now we have given in other readings at other times that it is possible to be as Jesus the Christ and make a one great move. However, one must remember that Jesus the Christ was as the First Son, Who did construct that which you live in and work through, and is your gate and your way, where none of you have achieved to that or was as the First Cause or Son.
Revelation 9:13-14
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, “Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.”
S Each has a starting point. Even as water is the cleansing force, even as it is the life force of this planet for those things which you would have as animal or vegetable, it is also representative of the spiritual force or action or the Holy Spirit within this world and the actions of same; and then that is God as the Creator, or Creator of all things, commanding that all be put aside that the Holy Spirit may have free reign within your world, within your personal worlds of selves.
Revelation 9:15
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
S Here you have the step, or the progressive steps, one-by-one, each becoming greater and more overcoming, to overcome that which is its part or the facing of that part of self. You begin with the small step, even as a child, and learn to become that which is the man or woman in full stride, as you accomplish. It is simply building upon one step always to the greater. And this is how you overcome, that which is this world.
Revelation 9:16
And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand: and I heard the number of them.
S You have that which is telling you that regardless of what you face, you have a tremendous backing of those things which you have done personally that are as seen by self or judged or weighed by self as the positive or the good. This is the positive karma, that which is never lost as the backing to self, or the true self, the real personality, the coming together of all that is of self into one being.
Revelation 9:17
And thus, I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions: and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
S This is a choosing of what you would face – the beauty as given here in stones or the fire and horror of the brimstone. Whether you would choose a heavenly path or solution, or that which would be hellacious for the soul of the individual, it is a reminder that even in the last step in the choosing or in the way, even as presented to Jesus the Christ, you have the option of which way you would go or choose.
Q In use of the word “brimstone”, did they have reference to sulfur and also sulfur gases such as emanate from volcanoes, et cetera?
S This is correct
Q Does any of this activity that you are describing ever take place on a conscious level?
S Yes, as a matter of fact it can and does at times and will to those individuals who cannot see beyond that which is this plane, even though they are schooled in that which is the spiritual understanding and beings. Therefore, to be given their just due or their opportunity or chance, they have made the choice with the mental conditions to face that which they have chosen only to understand – the physical condition of this plane rather than that which is beyond or on a higher level at a more spiritual level.
Q When a soul makes that kind of choice does it realize it’s limiting itself?
S Well, you’re speaking more now of a level of understanding within that which is the mental self rather than the soul itself. The soul itself has no thought pattern, understands only God and the force of life itself, whereas that which is the mind, as given to that which you would call the soul body, may be influenced to a great degree by that which it has been submitted to and those strong-willed individuals that choose only to feed into the subconscious mind or the true mind that which they would see as perfection, without understanding or giving understanding to the probabilities or the ability to change that influence, that which you would call the soul mind.
Q When you spoke of the soul body and the soul itself – then it would almost seem like the soul resides with God still, and the soul body was that part that was with us. Is that possible?
S Only in a manner of speaking. You have your soul body. It is the life that you have. It is that which gives you the spiritual and physical life. It is the action force as given to you by God. It is the center of self even as your mind and your heart is the center, as a one center of self, being as in conjunction, making the heart and the mind into one soul force and yet guided by a thought pattern and physical body that makes you move and act as you do in your physical world that you dwell in.
Q When you used the word “heart” in this answer, were you referring to the pump or to the subconscious mind?
S The pump. The physical thing. Yes.
Revelation 9:18-19
By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
S It is the simple meeting, in totality, of all the steps that you have gone through. It is the overcoming, then, of the actions, the mind building that you have perfected within yourselves. It is facing that which are the probes and the probing that does hurt as the scorpion’s tail. It is facing that which are the teeth, which represent the truth which can rend and tear even more than the stings of the scorpion – or that which pushes you forward. It is then, as given, facing with open mind, open soul, open awareness, of the life pattern that you have accomplished through.
Q Is the mental state of man the one-third that has to overcome?
S Oh, all things are the one-thirds. They all lump together.
Revelation 9: 20-21
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
S These are those that would face not God but would rather put themselves on the throne of God, as they have built themselves to be gods within their own selfish image. And from these will come those who either return to God or must face the whole renewal of overcoming for the 26,000 years (approximate) before they may overcome themselves again.
